There was an outrage in Jos at Gov Simon Lalong, yesterday over the creation and upgrading of a first class chiefdom in Jos North, the Plateau state capital, the governor created a new first class chiefdom, the Ata Aten, and upgraded an existing stool, the Ujah Anaguta, giving the 2 stools a first class status, the move has been widely perceived with disgust and is seen as a move to weaken the power of Plateaus only first class ruler, the Gbom Gwom Jos stool, and an attack on the Berom people of Plateau.

Others have also perceived the move as one of the steps in the creation of an Emir stool in the state which has been widely rejected all through the state.

The Berom Economic and Cultural Organizations (BECO), in a newsletter released today, has vowed to challenge the governors decision in court.

A 17 year old boy named Amos Ibrahim took his own life in Jos, the Plateau state capital,by taking sniper insecticide, after failing the 2019 Joint admissions and matriculation exams which he wrote at Aptech center in Sangotedo, Lagos.

He was last seen online on whatsapp at around 10pm last night.

They are even posing, they should call one soldier from Maiduguri to slap them, they will pose well, useless things, for once, I am proud of the Nigerian force, but I will really be disappointed if nothing is done to them.

The Plateau state association of tertiary institutions has gone one an indefinite strike from today, Tuesday the 23rd of April 2019, a visit to the school campus in Jos showed lots of aggrieved students of the school who were not allowed entrance into the school, this is coming barely one month after the school resumed activities after another strike.

Reports indicate that University of Jos are set to join the strike by Monday.

I was at that wake keep in Adebayo Doherty and I can genuinely tell you that eniola really loved oyin, the testimonies about oyin was just something else, oyin helped eniola become who she is today, I can not reveal everything here but I can tell you for sure that eniola was very heart broken, she was all tears and was the last person to leave the hall as she watched a short clip made for oyin over and over again in tears.
