Senior pastor and founder of the Commonwealth of zion assembly, Koza , has debunked claims that he raped Popular photographer and wife of Nigerian singer, Timi Dakollo, Bukola Dakollo, The cleric made this known via a release on his official Instagram handle.

The cleric said

"PUBLIC NOTICE
I am aware that there has been a recent media publication on YouTube by Why Naija. operated and owned by RED Media Group which shows an interview by Chude Jideonwo with Busola Dakolo.
Prior to now, we had adhered to our policy of ignoring rumours from social media accounts as we knew that several statements had been made to extort the church of money and myself through blackmail, harassment and intimidation. We have refused time and again to accede to their request, which has infuriated them overtime, because of this they have gotten more aggressive.
Unlike previous statements where innuendos were used and there was no direct mention of myself or the Church, the recent video released on YouTube has now made direct Criminal allegations against me in the interview granted by Busola Dakolo which are fallacious, non-existent and which are all denied in every measure. As an individual and as a Church we love and support people, and we will never condone any form of abuse, rape, harassment, or intimidation of anybody. I have never in my life raped anybody even as an unbeliever and I am absolutely innocent of this.

Busola Dakolo, who has made this false allegation and her family attended the church during the early start of the church in Ilorin in 1999. I never had any private interactions with her beyond my pastoral duties. Looking at her status and that of her husband, I am dumbfounded why she would say such a thing. As expected under the ethics of Journalism, it would have been expected that I should have been confronted with these false allegations prior to any publication, instead of resorting to social media with the intent to ruin my reputation and bring down the church.
We will also not stand for false criminal allegations made against me or the church. The leadership of the Church and I have briefed our lawyers to commence Criminal and Civil actions against all individuals making such false allegations whether directly or by proxies. We will as a church pursue every measure within the ambits of the law to bring the culprits to justice. We have heard, and we will not be surprised to see more of such allegations by people who have been paid to continue in this line of blackmail, harassment and extortion including those who may have been dismissed from their duties in the church on disciplinary grounds.
To all our members and those supporting God's work, I want to assure you that we would fight this and the Lord will vindicate us. This has always been intended to attack the church, this is the intent of the adversary, the intent is to destroy the church, so please stay focused and prayerful. God Bless you. I celebrate you.

Unknown gunmen on Tuesday, June 25, attacked Rafin Kada town, a Jukun community in Taraba state and killed many people, Daily Trust reports. According to the report, the suspected militia men crossed from neighbouring Benue state and killed many people and set many houses ablaze. They were also said to have attacked the vehicle of Wukari local government chairman and another vehicle conveying some soldiers to Rafin Kada, following distress calls sent to them. It was further gathered that some Jukun youths from Wukari going to confront the attackers were ambushed and killed by the suspected militia at a forest.


Rafin Kada is the third Jukun town to be attacked by suspected militia in one week and several people killed. A The chairman of Wukari local government, Mr Adi Daniel, said the militia men in large numbers launched an attack on the community early Tuesday, June 25. He said some people were killed and about 32 houses burnt down by the attackers. The spokesman of the state police command in Taraba state, David Misal confirmed that some armed militia crossed from Benue state and attacked a Jukun community near Wukari, killed one person and burnt some houses. Meanwhile, two persons have died while three others have been injured following a clash between Ikot Osute and Ikot Ukpong villages in Oruk Anam local government area of Akwa Ibom state over a love affair gone sour. One Ms Ime Etuo who had settled in her father’s compound in Ikot Osute after her divorce from her husband, reunited with her husband and lived with him in her father’s compound.

However, she was said to be involved in a love affair with another man from Ikot Ukpong village against the wish of her husband, and later, chased her husband away. It was learnt that this infuriated youths in her community, and led by one Udeme, the youths beat up the new lover popularly known as until he died, a situation that sparked violence and open confrontation between the two communities.

Those churches are no different from pubs and motels, how can grown up men and women who are not married, live together in the same house, and most times, in the same hall, and you think nothing is happening between them? Haha, body no be wood na, you just see children popping everywhere, and going up and down with their white garments inside the church, shey dem dey fall from sky ni?
