This post is simply an attempt to overheat the polity. RUBBISH |
This is very educating. please do Uber accept cars of 2003 model? Eg 2003 Honda Civic? |
Please fellow Nairalanders, I know of staff members of a particular company who are being surcharged. In this company, each staff is usually debited up to 20% of their monthly salaries to cover for Pension, Tax and National Housing Fund. However even after making these debits, the company does not make contribution for pension, pay for tax or contribute to National Housing Fund. Up to 300 staff is affected and for this three years and amounting in total to about than N500,000,000. some of these staff have either being sacked or resigned from the company. we all know that pension savings attract interest from the fund managers. Therefore invariably, apart from non remittance, the staff are losing in accumulated interest. Also the non contribution for National Housing Fund dis-entitles the affected staff from benefitting from the scheme. This is not to talk of liabilities for no payment of tax. Dear Nairalanders, your advise is needed on the options open to the staff. can bring action in civil proceeding against the company? |
helpee:You spoke well but you could have done better if you understood that there is a 3rd arm- the Judiciary. If the senate feels that the executive has breached the law by not sacking Magu after it refused to confirm him, they should approach the court and not to order for Magu's sack by themselves. Senate has no such powers. |
Youths of the nation, remember that leadership does not descend to people, people rise up to it. When you are busy browsing your days away, you think somehow, leadership will crash on you. NEVER, our youths aren't ready to lead yet. Pls stop blaming the old generation who only feel compel to help out in this latent power vacuum created by docility of the so called youths. |
This is unprecedented. I find it hard to believe that everything that has happened in Nigeria since that election has hinged on the win or loss of the election. Omokri, the GEJist and Buharist can you all sheath your swords and lets move on. were we not expecting a looser and a winner in the election? while I agree that Buhari may not be getting it right all the time, there is so much bad blood from the GEJ team. I think they are bad losers. please Nigerian, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, et all, the election is lost and won. Another election is coming in 2019. If we continue this way are we sure we can last beyond 2019? |

sukkot:I agree with you, however I must add that the greatest wealth is BEING AT PEACE WITH GOD |
somehow somehow Mourinho wins, even when you think he is loosing. |
I am proud of our Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. He saw how rudderless we were under PDP and APGA and took the bold step of joining the APC. kudos to him and all Imo people. I expect to be attacked by haters of their brothers and neighbours who are also Christians and practitioners of the now trending Jewish religion. Imo ga adiri anyi nma. Owelle gaa nihu n'anyi so gi n'azu. |
"Alhamdulillah.. it all started in 1996..... we tied the knot in 1999. Alhamdulillah it's been a wonderful 18 years with 5 beautiful children..six step children and one adopted son. May Allah swt continue to make it easy for us. Amin.[/quote]AMEN. it is pleasant to see marital union where the couple both work to keep it going. It is an institution ordained by God but battled from all fronts by destabilizing forces. May God grant you many more years of fulfilling God's expectation from humanity- procreation. Congrats Gumsu for holding on even against every expectations. |
Splinz:I doubt of you read a line of what he stated. your mind seem made up against his position an initio. |
Airforce1:I don't know if you are married. However, marriage is like a project and a special one as that. No project is easy and if you fail to accomplish it, then you are a failure QED. |
Pavarottii:Those that do not know from where rain started to fall on them do not know where it stopped. you seem not to know, but Wike and Fayose are destroying PDP simply because they don't like its chairman- Amodu Sheriff. Goodluck doesn't seem ready to make peace as you don't make peace by taking side with a faction rather than recognizing the legitimate chairman and request that makes peace with his estranged members. That is inversion of standard- QED. |
There are penalties provided under the Pension Reform Act 2014 for failure to remit pension deductions. S.11(6) of the Act specifically. As regards your entitlements it is guided by the employment contract and ought to have been paid. I assure you it is recoverable. There are other issues that favour you as international best practice in labour law does not allow your employer to fire you without reason. in times like this it is imperative to speak with a lawyer. You will find out you deserve more. |
Nne5:It's technically alive. |
Amarabae:If you were Prince Charles may be the queen would have been murdered! Longevity is a blessing and Charles is happy his mum is so blessed. However, Charles may still not be king even after the queen. There these issues about him and abdication of the throne. |
thesicilian:Is that the way it is meant to be? Are we to remain like that till end of time? How do we move out of our cocoon? So many questions begging for answers. |
Sane Nigerians have for long time awaited true reconciliation of PDP. We were taken aback when Oga Jonah was quoted to have asked both the authentic chairman and the other to resign. we were certain the call was simplistic. This step is the first reasonable step taken by PDP hierarchy since loosing presidential election. I truly hope that PDP will bounce back again so as to capable of providing quality opposition. The 2nd step MUST be to ensure that Fayose and Wike are put in check. They must not speak on behalf of the party AGAIN, QED. |
Hmmm, asking them to step down seems nice but just on the surface. It is however overtly & covertly simplistic. The underlining issue causing the ripples must be looked into and resolved to get a permanent solution. Asking the governors to takeover leadership or to nominate another leader without doing the above is likely to create a third leg to the problem. The emergence of both Sheriff and Makarfi is at the whims and caprices or the same governors, led by Wike and Fayose. peace without justice is not far from 'peace of the graveyard'. |
kayzat:I give it to them. Their politics has so matured as they learnt from history. The era of wild wild west is gone. Other zones including my people from the SE should learn from this. |
madridguy:History does not lie. All of the above are matters of recent history and are fresh in the mind of right thinking Nigerians. Bigotry and sentiments would however not allow most of us to see, hear or think. Thanks for refreshing our memory though. |
I don't want to join the bandwagon of sympathizers or persecutors. If how ever the story is true it only goes to support my view that the DSS were not chasing shadows nor witch hunting the Justice as was previously ranted by a section of Nigeria |
APCHaram:Jokes apart, you may be actually hallucinating . |
BUHARIISCURSED:Shame on you all brood of vipers. you throw the masters Religion on everything just to score your cheap points. |
ifewise:I rather see the opposite. Wike and Fayose are the true problems of PDP. Their culture of impunity should not be part of today's PDP. Consider yourself a neutral Nigerian youth, would make any of them your political role model. PDP has better men than they but chose them to represent their image. They chose Sheriff, insisted on his chairmanship even against the will of the party's elders. If the duo falls out with Makarfi, the will also dump him as well. They are under the delusion that PDP is their property and carries on as though the are doing the party a favour. When "men" were leading PDP during the days of Ekwueme, Obasanjo etc, who would regard these scallywags. |
TonyeBarcanista:TonyBarcanista, please what is this set back for democracy, is it this decision or the frivolous acts of Wike and Fayose? The duo gallivants around parading themselves as the mouth piece of the once great PDP. Appointing and re-appoint chairmen, convening and re-convening conventions- Abuja to Porthacourt with or without adherence to laid down rules. I started crying for PDP when I noticed how tall the infamous duo stands therein, bestriding the party like colossus while the elders of the party tacitly support them with their undignified silence. The hen has come to roust. I weep for Nigerian citizens who will be denied the benefits of robust opposition. |
searchng4love:Impressive remark. No splinter republic whether in the North, South, East or West. Neither Islamic or Christian. in one Secular Nigeria we stand. |
cheruv:. it is seemingly so. Tinubu didn't resort to media war but headed straight to court under the present VP as Attorney General. Lagos state got judgement against the Federal government and the money meant for those local governments were ordered to be released. If Fayose has a good case, I advise he heads courts. |
passyhansome:AN ADVISE:- you would have made more sense if you simply limited you response to 'Our politicians of course'. I am on my knees begging us all to stop the hate/ tribal verbiage. we don't need them. Pursuit of peace is a very important duty of humanity. It does not matter from which tribe, most Nigeria are suffer for the greed and misrule of our politicians. I also don't support innuendos that disparage any tribe. Fellow Nairalanders, let us keep it real, free from hate speech. Shalom. |
Likei:Hatred even unto death? waow! I don't know your tribe or the religion you practice but what I am sure of is that you are a coward, online faceless warrior and instigator. Tufiakwa gi!!! Take it from me, the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain. Continue to Rest In Peace worthy General |
freetheking:you may just compare his life with yours and your guess will be as good as mine. Child of hate. |
