I agree with you on this.

I think the problem is that they are trying very hard to let Nigerians see that "they know exactly what they are saying".
You know Nigerians like to |drop brain" so they can just defend "their man" as Not Guilty! undecided grin

From what they posted, l can deduce that the Whistle Blower is a Security man in that building.

I can deduce he has helped the "Woman" to move the cash upstairs
I can deduce that any missing Security guard at this moment, , who had worked at that house in recent past, is the Whistle Blower.
I can deduce he is "male".
Even by now, Mrs Oke knows the Security Gurad she gave 10K to!

That is not good enough.
But l am sure they did not do it purposely.
Some Nigerians are a difficult bunch of ignorants and tribalists ....who will not use their brain, once their tribes man (or party Man) is involved in a crime

My only prayer for Nigerians presently, who still believe the grand lies by the ruling party to hoodwink them to believing that gej and his Pdp, is cause of all the problems of our nation, is that they will receive sense in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Sahara Reporters have been changing the narrative of the discovered 50million dollars and some people are still taking them serious. I pity your ignorance!
Sahara Reporters are now media agents of this government to launder lies and propaganda for them to make gullible Nigerians believe.
They discovered gej and sambo 2015 campaign poster in the apartment abi? Someone who could hide so much money will be foolish enough to allow poster pointing to the source of the loot to lie around abi? Seriously! Abeg make you use your head!
One day the money belongs to Muazu and the next to the sacked Nnpc director and the next to Mo Abudu and now to the NIA. Some people are still believing this cock and bull story. I am sorry for you!
This is all Efcc arrangements to divert the attention of Nigerians from their real problem that pmb and his Apc are bereft of ideas and lack both the political will and capacity to move Nigeria forward but only know how to compound the woes of Nigerians.
It is time to declare war against stupidity in this country!
Look, you are jumping to conclusions here.

This matter is an ONGOING INVESTIGATION.......... so, you should expect that certain things will change and even become clearer, as the investigation progresses.``

For example, Mr. Muazu initially denied ownership of the building....... but when investigation proceeded and "incontrovertible evidence" was adduced, HE OWNED UP TO OWNERSHIP of the Building.

Does that make the investigation Wrong or make those who said so initially (When Muazu denied ownership) liars?

About the "GEJ Posters" in the house:

You just need to understand that "whoever" kept those Cash in that House, was not expecting it to be discovered!
So, "Mistakes" can happen at any "crime-planning" stage ........otherwise, No investigation would be successful!

Criminals are caught based on investigation and MISTAKES they made, while committing a crime.

Having said that, we still need more investigation and evidence, before this crime can be pinned on anyone, GEJ or not.

No one should "rush to convict anyone or exonerate anyone".
Everyone is still a suspect, even Magu himself.

PLEASE, can you tell me the time on the Video, where the Money showed this 2016 stamp?

I have been trying to see that date but still couldn't.

That would be a very important "fact" to establish when this money was moved into that partment so we can establish a "Timeline" for it.

You think PDP will have the guts to store such an amount in an APC territory? Who has been the governor of Lagos state for decades now, isn't it APC that has been producing governors, is it not the Lion of Bourdillion that controls Lagos and Ikoyi to be precise

If the money was found in an apartment in Rivers state then I can suspect PDP connection but as it was found in Lagos nothing can convince me that PDP had anything to do with this.

I wonder why no one can confirm who owned that house sha, may God help us o. Maybe it's even one Bureau DE change owner sef
I dont know if you were in Lagos between late 2014 and early 2015, when the Presidential Election was in full swing?

If YES, do you recall thatDollars was shared to almost everyone in sight, including OPC, Oba Akiolu (even with brand new cars!), e.t.c?

Can anyone related with the picture attached below? That is How PDP "enveloped Dollars" in Lagos, at one of its presidential rallies

I am saying all these in reference to the part bolded in your post, not to convict Jonathan, or PDP or exonerate APC (all Politicians are criminals!)

Never under-extimate any Politician, anywhere in the world. undecided undecided

BTW: The owner of the house has CONFIRMED ownership, he is Mr. Muazu, a former PDP chairman - That must is a FACT!
But that is not a criminal offence .....to own a house.

let the efcc come out with a definite statement on this money all this unnecessary n desperate attempt to link Johnathan with the money or anything bad by this administration is becoming stupid, from the account of the so called whistleblower n the fact that the money had wrappers that indicate it was printed recently means the Johnathan connection is just a diversion. even if Johnathan gave anybody money for a purpose n that money was criminally diverted or misappropriated, such people such face d music squarely not involving Johnathan, or didn't the APC governors also use state funds for their campaigns n for the sponsor of buhari?,anyway they are saints!!.
Can show any evidence backing up your above assertion?
because that will be a very interesting angle to the whole issue.

Personally, l have not seen any "image of the Cash or its wrappers" showing they were recently printed.

The fact that they appear in mint condition does not imply a recently printed money, it only shows that it was taken straight from the CBN (when, we dont know) into those Safe lockers, without passing through circulation.

So, please "help" Nigerians by posting such image...since EFCC has not also made any allusion to when it was printed.

Thank you.

Some people are just like that: Ready to go down and take al the criminals along with them! .... for the sake of "fatherland"grin grin

IMO, l think EFCC should obtain Warrants to:

1.) Seal Up that building TEMPORARILY (Crime Scene)

2.) Ask all owners and Occupant to come forward and identify their apartments within 3days of action (1).

3.) Ask each owner to make a VOLUNTARY DECLARATION of whatever CASH they have inside their apartment.

4.)Ask each owner to come with EFCC to each apartment, for a thorough search of each apartment, in owners presence.

5.) If nothing incriminating is found in a "Non-Destructive" search of an apartment, the EFCC should release such apartment to the owner....at the completion of ALL searches, to prevent an internal transfer of assets within the building.

6.) EFCC should continue to make Video recording of all proceedings, while respecting the privacy of Home owners.

The BATTLE has just begin.
Its either corruption will destroy Nigeria or Nigerians will stand Up, assist the EFCC and destroy Corruption, including all those aiding and abetting it.

BTW: I think all patriotic Nigerians needs to crowd-fund Sahara Reporters, as a way of showing gratitude for the kind of investigative journalism they are practising.

If you want to argue, do so based on FACTS. I have shown you the "facts and figures"

Since you also agree that Brent came under $50 for the first time in 2015, when GEJ was just about being booted out of Office by the election of early 2015 (February, then shifted to March 2015)m it proves that your asssertion was patently FALSE.

1. Having an .............

3. You are plucking numbers out of the air. For instance re debt-servicing, total FG foreign debt was $9.5bn when GEJ left power with yields of about 5-7% (an upper range of $665m per year). Foreign reserve is not an FG "expense" at all (reserves are accumulated/depleted as part of monetary operations but has no bearing on the FG's fiscal position). The FG's capital expenditure on military operations are abysmal and referring to diplomatic expenses is scraping the bottom of the barrel stuff.

4. The $30 p/b excuse again! This government has been in power for almost 2 years and oil prices made a brief excursion to that price range and quickly bounced up. Oil prices have spent far longer in the $50 range in the GEJ era (its current range) than it did in the $30 range in the Buhari era. Indeed, oil prices are today roughly where they were when the present government was making fantastic promises of free healthcare for all. Contrary to your friend's analogous 70% plunge in government revenue (implied to have happened during the Buhari era), oil prices are close to where they were in Q1 2015 and when Buhari took over power. See image below.

My point isn't that the fall in oil revenue has no adverse impact on the government's fiscal health but that the melodramatic claim of a 70% plunge in revenue which the household analogy made by your friend evokes is preposterous. Yes, there has been some adverse impact (at the very least, via the inflation channel and the general health of the economy) but this need not have been and is not as dramatically bad for the FG's budget as some of the Buhari apologists suggest.

Again, and this keeps being sidestepped, the supposed uprightness of the Buhari government in accounting for oil revenue (in sharp contrast to the uber-dishonesty of the GEJ government) seems to be ignored as a factor. Surely, if the new government is more competent and honest, this should to a great degree offset some of the adverse impact of the oil revenue collapse?
I can only laugh when people like you try to play smart with "statistics and figures"!
Infact, l dont know where to start picking gaping holes in this your post that is as irrational and as outlandish as it is!

YOU LIED on so many things!
For example, l have reproduced a chart of Brent Crude for you below, to see the Price of Crude when GEJ became President (2009), when he was booted out (early 2015) and as of today (2017)

Looking at that chart, we can see that your assertion, and l quote: "Oil prices have spent far longer in the $50 range in the GEJ era (its current range) than it did in the $30 range in the Buhari era" (End of Quote)..........

IS PATENTLY FALSE and just thrown-in to deceive unsuspecting readers!

That Chart shows that AT NO TIME UNDER GEJ GOVT, DID BRENT CRUDE PRICE COME AS LOW AS $50........... NOT FOR THE WHOLE SIX YEARS THAT BUFFOON WAS PRESIDENT!

He took the money and wasted it while looting the rest, with his accomplices like Dezziani, Dasuki, Saraki, e.t.c

Those where the times when other "Oil Producing" countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, e.t.c where using the "excess crude price" to build infrastructure, increase power generation, expand industrial manufacturing, revolutionize agricutural production........... so that when the "lean times" as we now have occurs, the country will have something to lean on.

Even OBJ, as bad as he was, used the excess crude to at least pay-off our debts and increase foreign reserve to a whopping $65Billion before he left office...

......Only for that fedora-hat drunkard called Jonathan to come and deplete everything.

I wont even bother to go into their ignorant claims that you made, like saying "foreign reserve has no bearing on govt fiscal policies"!

Am sure you do not have anybody in Fed school or so where you need to pay through remita. You would have understood the need for a gradual implementation. Even when you are paying N500 separate fee, you pay through remita, and the site is always up and down because they were never ready for such number of users. Payments were delayed, at times money were spent on other things, resources wasted, man hours lost, monies lost or stolen and so on.

For a country that does not have stable electricity, produces almost nothing and imports almost everything (including the most basic things like tooth pick!), for a country where Factories are always being replaced with House of Worship, for a country where looting is in the "billions", for a country that depends on one product for survival (crude oil) and yet the sales from such product is stolen at every opportunity, it is just the grace of God that we are even still called a country because Somalia was not as bad as this!

Unfortunately, a prophet is never appreciated in his country! PMB is always "coming" when economic collapse is very imminent. The NPN ruined this country from 1978 to 1983
then Buhari came with Idiagbon and salvaged it before the same criminals colluded and over-thre his Govt and took us back into austerity and structural Adjustment Programme (SAP).

Now, Politicians, APC but especially PDP, have almost ruined this country again and Nigerians had to call on Buhari, with Osinbajo a second time, to come to the rescue! shocked angry

Buhari is far from perfect, his health and age is even a bigger disadvantage at this point, he has "internal criminals", a.k.a "Cabals" to contend with but l an sure that these "hateful" people, in their inner mind, are under no illusion at what would have happened by now, if we had continued with what Jonathan-led PDP was doing to this country.

FBI Seeking Public Assistance Locating Kelechi Declan James, Offering $1,000 Reward for Information That Leads to Arrest

James is Wanted on Federal Criminal Charges Relating to a Fraudulent E-Mail Scheme That Resulted in Victim Losses of More Than $5 Million

FBI agents are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Kelechi Declan James. He has federal criminal charges against him from an investigation by FBI New York’s Cyber Crime Task Force. James is known to frequent the Brooklyn neighborhoods of East New York (Crescent Street and Loring Avenue; Vermont Street between Blake Avenue and Dumont Avenue), Brownsville, Bedford-Stuyvesant (MacDougal and Hull Streets), Crown Heights (Park Place and Utica Avenue), Flatbush (E 29th and Avenue D), and East Flatbush (East 51st and Winthrop Street). The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest.

James is 32 years old, 6'0" tall, and approximately 175 pounds. He is a Nigerian national, has brown eyes and black hair, and may have a beard. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of James is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. The FBI can be reached 24 hours a day at (212) 384-1000. He is not considered to be violent in nature.

As alleged in a complaint sworn out of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, James, along with four other co-conspirators, ran a business e-mail compromise scheme that resulted victim losses of more than $5 million for their victims.

As part of scheme, James and his co-conspirators defrauded victims across the U.S. by tricking them into wiring money to bank accounts the victims believed were owned by family members, friends, or business associates. They did this in two ways: by overtaking an e-mail account of an individual trusted by the victim and then requesting money be wired to a bank account; or by developing a relationship of trust with victim like an Internet romance and then asking the victim to wire money. As soon as the money was wired, it would be moved from one account to another, and the funds would be withdrawn. James’s role in this scheme was to withdraw the money from bank accounts.

Having said that, l dont even think "abuse" is what Nigeria and Nigerians need......... We need the Culprits (and their Collaborators) to be PROVEN GUILTY in Court and then JAILED for Life. (Or Beheaded/shot at Bar Beach as the case may be)

Celebrities › Re: Ikoyi $50m: Mo Abudu "I Have Never Received Any Apartment From Rotimi Amaechi" by Daboomb: 8:48pm On Apr 14, 2017
Ajasco222:
Founder of Ebony Life TV, Mosunmola Abudu popularly called Mo Abudu has responded to publications linking her to the house where almost $50m was discovered by the EFCC.

Governor Fayose's aide, Lere Olayinka had alleged that "Rotimi Amaechi bought TWO of the flats (7A and 7B). He then gave 7A to MO ABUDU, the TV presenter, who is suspected to be his girlfriend".

But in a statement released by Abudu's lawyer, Etigwe Uwa, the media personality distanced herself from the claims, adding that she never received any apartment from Rotimi Amaechi.

See the statement below;

Until people are HELD ACCOUNTABLE for what they say or write (by way of swift arrests and court judgements/sentence), Heediots will continue to litter the public space with FAKE NEWS and outright lies.

How will you make such ACCUSATIONS in public space, without any Shred of EVIDENCE to back it up?

This is not "Politics" as most ignorant people will like us to believe, ........... it is the height of MIS-INFORMATION, designed to cause Civil Unrest.

The Police should be empowered to arrest ANYONE who makes a statement, without any PROOF to back it up within say 36Hrs, in a matter of Public interest.
This will in no way, violate our Rights to "Freedom of Expression" because that "Right" was given, on the assumption that Whatever we say/express, will be said with a "Clear Conscience and be TRUTHFUL" to the best of our knowledge.

All these "Accusations" and "counter-distancing" from it is deceitful.
Politics › Re: Civilian Joint Task Force Jubilate After A 3-Day Operation In Borno by Daboomb:
Of worthy mention is the actions of this CIVILIAN JTF.

*Let us recall that Boko Haram was attacking and killing these NORTHERNERS, raiding their community, kidnapping and raping their women.

*Let us also recall that the "official" security forces (Police, Armed Forces, etc) are trying their best but it was NOT ENOUGH.

*Then the Citizens "banded together" .......to DEFEND THEMSELVES

* They got Guns and armed themselves, to DEFEND themselves. The Govt did not arrest them for trying to defend themselves or "carrying unlicensed weapons"

*The Citizens were doing these so well, that the Govt decided to "Co-opt" them into a fighting force...thus the birth of the CJTF.

Now, all these happened in NORTHERN Nigeria.

In SOUTHERN Nigeria, we can draw a PARALLEL:

*"Herdsmen" (whether we agree they are of Fulani extraction or from Libya or America!) were attacking, Killing, raping, kidnapping and destroying Southern Communities, especially in the Eastern part of Nigeria (maybe due to proximity, compared to Western Nigeria)

*Civilians of SOUTHERN Nigeria were just crying and fighting each other on the Internet, pointing fingers and making unnecessary jest of each region (Igbo Vs. Yoruba). [

*The "Official" Security Forces have been unable to assist in quelling their murderous actions of these Criminal Herdsmen!
Infact, they have supported then discreetly (Remember that Governor that always come out to bail them? Remember what that Police Commissioner did in Osun state recent;y?)

*Civilians in the South did not come together to form a Civilian Fighting Force.

*Even where they made a tepid-attempt to arm themselves, the Police hierarchy controlled by the same Northerners, quickly foiled such attempt.

The above scenarios raises a few questions:

- Are Northerners allowed to defend themselves against attacks while the Southerners are prevented from defending themselves?

- Are our Security Forces (especially the Police and Army) under the command of their echelon, complicit in the attempt to desecrate Southern Nigeria, while protecting the North?

- Are our Governors, being the "Chief Security Officers" of their State, doing anything about this? Even raising the Issues at FEC Meetings with the President?

- Are our legislative Representatives |(Senators and House Of Reps members) doing anything about this on the floor of the house and coming-up with forceful positions and laws to combat these issues ......... or just going there to collect allowance and better their own pocket?

- Can for example, the recently launched "Community" Defence Corps in Lagos, be trained to fulfil such role, as the Civilian JTF is doing in the North? ..... or are they just there to harass the natives/locals and extort "fines" from them?

We all need to take a sit-back and reflect on these issues.

BTW: I know someone from the North will come here to attempt to trash what l wrote (even claim to be from Ibadan or Awka! grin ) but those who are affected by the menace of these murderous Herdsmen, need to express their opinion.

It's obvious, Trump is ready to put the Middle East on their toes within his first 100 days in office.

He started with Syria early this month, all in the name of fishing against Chemical Weapons.

His next target will be North Korea.

To be candid, Trump is a Business man who is ready to keep the doors of America Armoury open for use and ultimately see the prices of Crude Oil Skyrocketing within a shortest period.

Unlike Obama who believes in diplomacy as far as foreign policy is concerned.

He promised to bring the ISIS to justice or take justice to them.

Think Trump, think George Bush.....the men of action!
*Syria has been at war for the last seven years
*Afghanistan is just a wasteland in the last few years with no central Govt or any sort of defence.

North Korea on the other hand, has been stable for the last few decades, has a lot of short range Missles, has long range Missiles and an advanced-stage Nuclear development.
It has "crude" Nuclear Weapons (It has not yet succeeded in miniaturisation of its Nuclear war heads) it can fire at U.S interests in that part of the world (US Carriers, Japan, South Korea and US service men in those areas).

So, the dynamics with NK are different and l can assure you that America will NEVER attack North Korea.
If America can (without "unwanted consequences"wink, it would have done so in the last ten years.

North Korea and Iran will NEVER give up their Nuclear ambitions..............that is what keeps America away.

The only language that America understands and respect is Nuclear Strength!
Just check out the list of ALL countries that gave-up their Nuclear ambitions for "American Peace".... America has attacked ALL of them (Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, e.t.c)

But it has not attacked Iran up till today.
Think about it for a minute.
