originalKsp:Just make sure you dont ask Dino melaye or any of our Senators to do this test otherwise..... We will have to again invite theVice Chancellor of ABU to testify that he finished the test, in 2019 ofcourse! ![]() Awon Weerey! ![]() |
SuperSuave:Na the 3rd Class people naah! There is Safety in Numbers! ![]() They will soon tell us Obama had 3rd Class! ![]() |
ednut1:Those who go to school to waste not just their money, but their time, end-up with a low grade (like Failure/Pass/3rd Class ) .... but those who know why they went to school, come out with brilliant results! So, chose what you want to get out of School, and you will get it. SIMPLE! |
soberdrunk:The fact that you cant read, understand, assimilate what you read and then "put it down" in response to exam questions that yo are asked......... leading to your failure and eventual "Pass/3rd Class" graduation, is hardly a reflection of an intelligent person! If you cant overcome "basic tests" that all your mates could overcome in school .... how would you claim to be able to overcome more serious, life-challenges? Just look at our NASS and you will see what a critical-mass of "people of average cranial ability" can do to a nation. ![]() Your "Class of Degree" is also a "part-measure" of your level of intelligence , take it or leave it. Well, l know "3rd Class materials" will always claim "I am Tony Elumelu"! But they forget that any fool can make/jam money in a very corrupt environment like Nigeria .... |
EnigmaticEnigma:"Carrying "unlicensed weapons" openly or concealed........ is illegal in Nigeria under our laws! So, you cannot, under the guise of combating an "illegality", commit another illegality. The answer to your question is "NO". Way forward is for Uber to strengthen its verification process....... while Drivers and Passengers alike should also be security conscious and take steps to ensure their safety..... within the ambits of the law |
EnigmaticEnigma:Uber, like most online pay-for-hire transport system, is SUPPOSED to be Safe! I said "supposed to" because in Nigeria, nothing is "supposed to be as it ought to be". ![]() In brief, to be an Uber Driver, Uber is supposed to "vet" you, your documents and hold enough data on you such that you are traceable and have no criminal background. Uber should also have access to your bank Account which is where the money (Taxi fare) is paid into. Uber debits the customer account, takes its own share and then credit the Uber-driver's account with the remainder How much, how deep and how religiously Uber in Nigeria does this, is another kettle of fish. In like vein, an Uber passengers are supposed to be also vetted. Uber is supposed to have the details of the customer account and other Bio-data of such Customer. With the above scenario, both the Uber Driver and Uber customer are SUPPOSED to be known entities such that if a crime happens, either of them can be traced and arrested. But this is Nigeria where things are done shoddily, where Senators can forge certificates and get away with it, where forensic analysis by the Police is like the second coming of Cheesux, where Police will take bribes to look the other way and Court Justice will take "gift" to pervert justice. Not to mention Law-makers blackmailing the populace to have their way and continue to fester corruption. Or do you want me to add "where the registration details of a vehicle suddenly disappears on LMVD Registration Server, just because the vehicle owner is well-connected and a Man of gawd" So, if you ask me: How safe is Uber or any other taxi service? I would say "Thread with caution, as you would with any other Taxi service you pick up along the road side. Dont "chat yourself into trouble" as they try to get information from you along the journey. ![]() If anyone thinks the fuel in the vehicle of that Uber taxi (in this story) suddenly finished at the same location where "boyz were waiting to pounce", that person needs to carry a sign on him/her saying l have One Million Naira in my bag ..... while standing in the middle of orile Bridge at 9pm. ![]() BTW: I think Uber has (must have) an insurance policy in place which reimburses the passenger, in situations like this otherwise, as happened in foreign countries, you can sue Uber for providing an "unsafe service" to you. |
zicoraads:At least they have the courage to protest where they are. Where and when have you ever protested anything in your own life? Take it up from where they are now... and move it to Abuja. keyboard warrior, enu dun'rofo. ![]() |
ESDKING:You s`peak like a Hopeless nonentity, yourself! How about jumping into the Lagoon if you are so depressed? X ![]() Eddiat! |
BeardedMeat:The problem with Nigeria is not Buhari, its not even that thieving Saraki and his bunch of criminals in the NASS! The problem with Nigeria is WE THE PEOPLE! All we do is complain, rant, fight each other, insult one another while neglecting the single and most important thing required of a true citizen: DEFEND OUR TERRITORY FROM OFFICIAL CRIMINAL. LET US OCCUPY THIS NASS FOR JUST ONE WEEK AND LET US SEE WHETHER SARAKI CAN FACE ORDINARY ONE MILLION "VERY ANGRY" PEOPLE. ![]() |
blackaxe78:Dont mind them.......... Upon all the "Ibo-made" fake this and fake that we are forced to endure as Nigerians, make my President sef come dey drive "Ibo-made" car? Impossicant! ![]() |
realmindz:I hate Cats with a Passion, since l was a kid!........ but funnily, l have almost half a dozen Dogs of various pedigree! Does that make me a cave man or just a "cat-hater"? BTW , anyone that laid hand on that woman should be arrested and jailed. ..Unless they can show me the woman as she turned to a cat and when the Cat was turning back to the woman again. We need "efidense"! |
akin33:So, agreed that Kemi has "acute diarrhoea of the mouth", does that justify putting her in prison (for a civil offence) and making her wear the Uniform of convicted criminals to court, when she is yet to be convicted? Should that be the kind of "Justice" meted out on behalf of a so-called man of god? If this your Pastor was Jesus, what do you think he would do to humanity that crucified him? "By their fruits, we shall know them.... because a fruit does not fall far from the Tree". ![]() |
AntiWailer:@The bolded: Brains really go bad, when it involves so-called "men of god"! If it was Buhari she abused and she got locked up for only two days, Nigerians will be calling for his head. But now that it is a "Pastor", the "Sheeple" (Sheep people!) are silent. Same attitude was in display in the randy pastor Sulaiman's sex-tapes! ![]() Remnd me, who was that person that said "Religion is the OPIUM of the People...... give them religion and they get really, really STONED!" ![]() |
Ashleydolls:The man is pussy-whipped for now~! By the time his eyes clear, it will be too late! All that starts Bad...ends B.A.D ![]() |

GreatZaza:I am sure you dont know what they earn nor do you know how they "appropriate and legalize" money to themselves! if your boss ask you to fix your own salary and do as you like with any increment you want, at the beginning of every year, l am sure you would ruin your company within three years....... just like these Senators are going to ruin Nigeria. Nigerian Senators are already over-paid, in a country where the common man cannot have #20,000 wage! See below.

Babacele:You are absolutely correct! Buhari was trying to play "Politics" with Tinubu (albeit whittle down the influence of Tinubu) when he allowed Saraki to "steal' the Senate Presidency! Then he made it worse by saying "He is for no-one and he is for everybody"! It backfired on him because the Saraki he tied to embrace is the Devil's incarnate! That he is unable to address the issue of Daura Lawal "brazenly" messing-up his nominee in Magu, that he was unable to do anything about Babachir Lawal and his Grass-cutter-Gate (at least order an investigation and show the people that you wont cover-up any insinuation of corruption) and that he has even displayed some "funny" l dont care attitude with respect to the rampaging Fulani herdsmen (l see them as criminals and kidnappers but the way he allowed the "Fulani Police Man" to handle the Ile-Ife farmer/Herdsmen clash. But WHY? My own opinion is that : 1.) Buhari is trying too hard to be seen as a Democrat (which he is not and we never voted for him to come and act like one! Corruption, the type we have in Nigeria, that is manned by devilish vultures like Saraki, cannot be fought with the "fair tools of Democracy"!). In trying to shed the toga of a military Dictator, he has surrendered his authority as President of Nigeria, to some Cabals... and Senators have seen this and decided they can also usurp his authority and nothing will happen. Can Obasanjo nominate a person for Senate confirmation and the DSS Director he appointed, thwart that nomination not once but twice, even with a third follow-up stinker? 2.) Buhari places too much emphasis on "familial association", instead of building real bridges of trust: In summary, he seems to still be afraid of the ghost of his first deposition in a coup by Babangida (recall the Saraki and Dino Melaye recently went to to prostrate for Babangida in the heat of Magu's rejection) and he seems to only want to surround himself with people he is beholden to or related to somehow. Lawal Duara is still occupying that seat because Buhari "believes" he is the only one he can trust to protect his mandate, even if he is under a surgical knife. Nothing Daura does, will make Buhari remove him. Babachir Lawal and Abba Kyari are two other Fulani "loyalist" of Buhari. Buhari is ready to sacrifice his own integrity for these people and they form what we know as the "cabal" in Aso Rock. So, all it takes is for Saraki to infiltrate these 'cabal' (or play on their 'selfish interest' as is the case of Lawal Daura Vs. Magu) 3.) Buhari is not ready to "play Politics" ...or play ball! He does not want to compromise his values and rightly so but in Nigeria, we know that "criminals are in power" and to operate in their realm, you must be ready to be corrupt (Just imagine the Senators giving the condition 'for peace' with the Presidency as "Increase their own budget"! In this era of recent!! Thus, Buhari is yet to learn the "corrupt dance' of politicians and in that vein, he is not yet a politician. He has used the TSA to render the thievery of most "office holders" (be it Politicians or Career Civil Servants) impossible. hence their grumbling! He has given teeth to EFCC, Code of Conduct Bureau, Customs, NAFDAC and other anti-corruption Agencies! Even the courts have been well funded and then purged of corruption. Also, we must factor-in Buhari's health. Leading Nigeria is not a "child's play" in terms of energy and stamina requirement! Buhari has been weakened seriously by his ailment and his 'actions are always coming very late or too late". The last sojourn in U.K even made it worse! He took too long to present a Senate President (which is one of the reasons Saraki took advantage), He took too long to nominate Ministers, too long to do anything he intended doing! You might say he is trying to "do it well" but there is "time and season" for everything under the sun! I pray for him daily but l am afraid, just looking at what Nigeria has turned Fashola into, within two years, .... it might just be too hard for Buhari! And that is the loss of the ordinary Nigerians. Unless Buhari suddenly develops some "Mojo' and take some radical decision, ...like dissolve the NASS.... (and l am sure with the current "mindset" of Nigerians, he will get their support), fire Daura and Babachir Lawal, approach the likes of Tinubu and Oyegun to instil discipline in their party (APC) so that everyone sits-up and stop acting like an opposition within the ruling party.........unless he does something 'radical' like that, he will go down as a failure in his first term and he can even kiss any second term "good-bye". Mind you, this does not mean Nigerians will accept to go back to "the days and criminals" of "stealing is not corruption" fame! Never again, on that one. |
zegxy:If you are looking for DICTATORSHIP, look no further than this current SENATE! Anyone that says anything contrary to what they want, is `destroyed immediately. Recall that when Senator Ndume, a member of the Senate itself, was first removed by Saraki and his Senate Gang, when he voiced a contrary opinion with the way the Senate treated Magu's case. Now that the same Senator Ndume raised a "Point of Privilege" within the Senate (A means by which a Senator may ask that the Senate look at an issue urgently), he is again entirely SUSPENDED for Six months from the Senate. This same Saraki-gangsters, when INEC said it wanted to "start early" to prepare for 2019 elections, to avoid fire-brigade approach as we usually have before, the Executive sent the list of 27 INEC Electoral Commissioners (REC) to Senate for debate and confirmation. This Saraki and his criminals decided that they will NOT confirm the REC's except the Executive removes Magu from EFCC The same Senate is here again trying to arm-twist the Executive to do its bidding insisting they must "look the other way" in the corruption case of their Hench-leader, Saraki........ when they should just have wait for the court to decide, as expected in a Democracy! Why is this Saraki-led Senate all about BLACKMAIL? Are the above decisions taken in the interest of the Nigerians that they are supposed to make "good laws" for? I know most of you posting here are "ignorant babies" who lack the ability to consummate issues and undergo critical reasoning, so l am not surprised that most of you (not all of you) cant understand what you are typing. Saraki is gradually becoming a DICTATOR...........and if Nigerians dont check him, he will truncate this Democracy of ours. |
oyienootieno:I agree with you! If we can have a few SELFLESS OFFICERS who will come-in, "sacrifice" all these criminals in Government, especially the NASS and some Governors, sanitise the system quickly ............and return the country back to Civilian rule WITHIN YEARS. if and only If. But it appears that corruption has also eaten into the Armed Forces. With the likes of Amosu and Badeh polluting the whole place.... |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Scallywags like you, full ground....... that is why thieves like Saraki, forgers like Dino Melaye and Andy Ubah are having a field day! Common reasoning and intelligent debate, you cant do........ Your future is ruined perpetually! Carry-on, you hear. ![]() |
Ezenwammadu:From the quote above, extracted from the "DEMANDS" of the Senators, it is obvious that these Senators are Criminals! So, upon all the 'criminally fantastic money they earn, in a country where the ordinary man cannot boast of #20,000 minimum salary, these scumbags still want their free money to be increased? Is this in the interest of the country or themselves? So, we can conclude that these criminals in the Senate are NOT making LAWS in the interest of the nation, as specified in the Constitution. They have refused to let us have Peace unless we can allow them to get away with criminality and impunity. I would rather prefer a military regime than these bunch of Certificate Forgers like Dino Melaye and Andy Ubah, looters like Saraki, e.t.c, that we have in our Senate Nigerians, wake-Up and take back you Democracy from these criminals. Buhari's health cannot win this fight, Nigerians must take up the fight or forever remain downtrodden by the criminals in the NASS |
Why is it that we Nigerians that have money to build a house worth over #50Million, but wont bother to spend just less than #300K to build an external Gutter where water from our compound drains into! I see that your twin, orange drainage pipes leading to ..where? The main Road? ![]() Its not just this building, l have seen many, many expensive houses built .... yet no drainage externally! We are still waiting for the government to come and do that one, abi? Every House owner should connect a Gutter from one side of their fence, to the other (or join it with that of adjoining houses, if there was one). This house is lovely, built to taste and l love the "green areas" so much. Builder: Please help us advice owner of building on the need to build an external gutter, for his own use and that of his environment. No offence intended or should be taken o. ![]() |
Hmmm... If you are Lazy and unintelligent, no matter the amount of Tools given to you, you will still end up doing a shoddy job. Hardworking and intelligent people, no matter their chosen field, always seek to improve, fine-tune and become more efficient in their work. Efficiency, in general terms, can offset the "additional, associated cost" of any project. Anyway, let me waka-pass. ![]() |
Sammypope4all:The issue is not about How much she was paid....... every 'lose' girl gets paid! The issue is: WHY IS SULIAMAN LYING AND DENYING HE SLEPT WITH HER? That is what people are worried about! A sex maniac Apostle who administers poison to a another woman, to abort her pregnancy without her consent and knowledge, yet comes out to deny everything! Sulaiman is a disgrace to manhood and the Christian Church |
emi14:Some of you are so dumb you cant even process simple information! How can she see the nudity of Sulaiman and he see her own nudity.... when Sulaiman is denying ever sleeping with her? Was he doing "deliverance" when they were seeing each other's nudity or phucking each other? It is that denial and lying by Apostle Sulaiman, that she is pointing out, in making those statements. grow a brain or stop posting on Nairaland, please. |
MENTORCH:Just listen to that Video properly and you will hear a girl that is very PAINED that she has been consigned to the dustbin of a lair! But listening to her soberly, you will realise that she is saying the truth and cursing Sulaiman from her heart and spirit. We might trash her as a Stripper and all sorts of names but like the Bible said, "Curse without reason shall never land". The corollary to the above is that "Curse with REASON, shall land". I have a strong inkling that this curse will land on Apostate Sulaiman because she has a reason, a good one to curse him. Time will tell. |
OreMI22:Are you naturally Ediotic or just high on Oshogbo weed? Where did she claim to have a baby for your randy Apostle Sulaiman? Okay, l get it: Your illiterate brain cannot process the difference between a forcefully aborted Pregnancy by Sulaiman.... and a baby given birth to. |
Yusuf4:Sharrap dia joor! Even a JSS 3 student should not write this nonsense..... if she ever paid attention in Class! Stop making excuses for incompetency and truancy while in School. I applaud anyone that wants to improve themselves academically but please, if you go to School, face School, pay attention and make something good out of it, instead of wasting your time pretending you are schooling. |
Kaeyzo:She must be related to Mama Piss of the "Ojukwu is dead but his manhood lives on" fame! "Fellow Widows"... for a woman whose husband was a sitting President! Chai! Dearis God Ooooo |
jesusson22:That Oyinbo woman short sha.....despite the High Heels! |
TPAND:Bloody LIAR! Show us reference to such posts and let us the the Picture of the NYSC Cert issued on Sunday.... Maybe you think it is "Holy Communion Certificate" we are talking about |
naijaking1:"Lubbish" arguement Sir! Try better next time. |
