If you're in for HD or anything close, STAY AWAY FROM GOTV!
and if you ever think the crap GOtv displays is anything HD, you have absolutely no clue on what HD or display resolution is. To think and claim that merely because the decoder has an HDMI port/output and therefore must be HD, is ridiculous!
Even on DSTV not all channels are HD, and regardless of what your TV or connection is, you get no HD for such channels.
Was seriously disappointed by the quality GOtv has in contrast to what people claim it is. GOtv is hardly 240p at best (somewhere around 140-240p - my assumption from experience).
There's 340p, 480p, then 720p (HD) and 1080p (FHD), and so forth.
And for anyone who has a 4k, 2k (UHD) TV, while DStv channels would look (very) good on your tv, 1080p (FHD) is what DStv offers at best. You may need those FTA decoders and big dishes to get anything higher.

PS: The GOtv decoder I got is the very latest from Multichoice, from their official office and of course has (only) an HDMI output.
I opened a NL account just to put this clarity right here so we could end the misleading trash circulated around.

It's LG 65" Wisdom Share Smart TV. It's a fake LG variant. The screen is 65".

The display changes from fake multicolored to white after a few minutes. It's completely unwatchable.

It's my first experience with Philip android tv 40PUT6400/12 , and all the TV could offer is driving me crazy and giving sleepless nights...., this isn't my first, second or even third smart tv though. But I've never experienced such problem until i lay my hand on this particular Philips Android 4k Tv.
Tv keep rebooting itself
Couldn't sign in Google account
Couldn't use any of android features
Screen mirroring goes on and off
Bluetooth not connecting
Wi-Fi connection problem
Tv sometimes freeze...... To mention a few. Too many problems in just one body.
Reinstalling the TV over and over again all to no avail.
Try to do boot loop fix after endless research but couldn't get it done , i got stuck at the point of "Android System Recovery Mode" , another alternative is using ADB reboot recovery command which i don't know how to go about.
Please the Guru and Tech Giant in the house i need all help i can get. Kindly put me through on what exactly to do. Thanks

LG OLED Gaming Challenge now in its third edition is one of the largest e-sports competitions in Nigeria for game lovers. The gaming industry as of 2020 was worth 90 billion dollars and LG Electronics is the first consumers electronics brand to independently launch the maiden edition of LG OLED Gaming Challenge in 2018 to help improve the gaming culture in Nigeria.

The event held on November 13th at the Grand Ball room, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria island, Lagos. It involved eight contestants from different parts of Nigeria come together to battle for the grand prize of 1.5 million naira, a 65’’ OLED TV from LG and the trophy cup. The second edition saw the contestants partcipate in the Gaming Challenge to win the LED65c9 TV and a cash prize of one million naira.

The LG OLED TV Gaming challenge preliminaries were held in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Owerri, Delta and Port Harcourt. The journey to the finals started from Ikeja City mall, Lagos where Omeiza emerged the overall winner. Other winners include; Riomade from Portharcourt, Faruk Manzo from Abuja, Honest from Delta, Arnold from Festac, Ovie from Owerri, Arogs from Maryland and kor Sesugh from Ibadan.

Speaking at the event which took place at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Mr. Olugbenga, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics West Africa said ”We have got so many awards because of the LG OLED TV eye comfort feature and we will keep giving our consumers the best as an innovative brand”.

LG thrilled the guests with the best gaming exprience using the LG OLED TV. The gamers showed their performance while experiencing the top notch features of LG OLED TV and battling it hard for the star prize.

Commenting after being declared the overall winner and speaking to journlaist, Faruk Manzo, the first place winner and a Nigerian student studying Economics appreciated the management of LG Electronics for sponsoring the competition and talked about how amazing the OLED TV features are. He further said “It was quite tough and indeed an interesting battlefield but I am so excited to emerge as the winner. I hope this platform that LG has created for gamers continue to grow stronger and birth more opportunities for professional gamers and amateurs in the E-Sport industry.”

The second place winner took home a cash prize of 500,000 naira while the third place got 300,000 naira.

Farouk Manzo, the 19 years old gamer from Abuja earlier in 2021 emerged as the winner of the Hangout Game Hub, HGH FIFA Tourney February Edition. His brothers, Sadiq and Tukur Manzo took the second and third postiton respectively. Sadiq who was at the LG OLED gaming final was very excited his brother was crowned the overall winner after so many gaming battle.

The company invited celebrities and ambassadors to the gaming comeptition including RMD, Praiz, Efe warri boy, VJ Adams, Chuma Nnoli, KieKie, M.I, Dr SID, amongst others. They were each sent an invite box that contained the tickets, T-shirt, perfume and so on, so that they all could have the best gaming experience with fans and customers. There was an impressive music performance by M.I which within few minutes switched to a live concert before the gaming competition resumed. Efe warri boy had the fans jumping and lauging while he performed during his comedy section, not to mention the sumptuous cuisine that the celebrities and guests were entertained with.

LG gave out exciting prizes during the raffle draw, take a selfie and win competition and LG Independence day regional contest which saw six attendees go home with new LG television sets. The first raffle draw winner was picked and Temide one of the guest at the event won an LG TV while the grand prize raffle draw winner went home with the LG OLED TV. Lets not forget every guest at the event were presented with a goodie bag from LG.

The fourth edition comes with a twist as the winner of the third edition – Faruk Manzo will have to defend his title in 2022.

My friend warned me not to buy my television from KONGA store but I did not listen to him because I trusted KONGA store as a well organised online store, well that was not the case.
I ve bought Phone, Musical set and Generator from them in the past before this 55" smart POLYSTAR Television. That is the wahala
Since I purchased that POLYSTAR Television, I never enjoyed it, the TV keep searching for network when you want to view on line, before it finally parked up.
I bought the Televison on the 5th July 2021 barely three months ago from KONGA store which is located at Deco Road Warri Delta State.
I was watching a programme and suddenly the screen went off, I put it of and on again no way. I decided to take back to them since it was still under warranty to make sure that I follow the rules.
To my greatest surprise, I received a call that their technician have checked the Television, that the screen is bad and it will cost me N180K to fix it. I should pay for the repairs. I reminded the lady that it was under warranty and said the Store where I purchased the Television will contact me. That is all
A Television I purchased, that is suppose to be under 2 years Warranty.
After some days, the Warri store manager called me to inform me that they are returning the Television to me like that If I don't want to pay the money for repairs
Am confused, please someone should help me out here, what should I do?

Am in need of information on how to Verify a Survey document to ensure it's properly registered and Documented.

I happen to know like 2 different people whom have the complete documents include the Red Copy and was told it has been filled in survey office but it never was.

So in a situation we don't want to just rely on the words of a Surveyor (whether individual or company), how can the owner do the verification themselves.

It depends on the kind of pump you guys use. But in general I was told pumps doesn't consume much energy because I have my flats own connected to mine and I use prepaid.

In fact, I don't think it does. You sound like you use the old postpaid?
