You don't need to evaluate your ATS cos your OND and B.Sc will give you the maximum points under "2 or more certificates". So keep your money for other costs you will incur in this journey. Hakuna Matata CanadahereIcome: Good morning Seniors in the house,
I have a question for all the ogas in the house. I am currently evaluating my OND and B.Sc with Wes and I also have AAT (ATS) with ICAN. I didn't start my ATS exams from ATS1 but from ATS 3 because I used my OND as I was exempted from writing ATS 1 and ATS 2. My question is can I also evaluate my AAT with Wes? If yes, what will the impact be on my crs knowing fully well that OND and B.Sc means two or more qualification on CRS.
Thanks in anticipation |

Following...... Tojued: Good morning house.
Please I've come again. Apprenticeship wahala is looking plenty, very slim prospects of getting an employer to sponsor a somebody.
What are the prospects of a career in the security sector (Southern Alberta, Calgary preferably)? We're looking long-term at law enforcement positions with the government, corporate security management etc.
Without any prior experience, is it possible to kick-start such a career by starting off as a security guard? Apparently the security guard courses (and exam) are available online and so can be done before landing. Licensing with the province is also straightforward.
The real question is are security guard jobs readily available and is there real room for growth?
I know say Salford aka Salford1 dey sabi give correct answer to dis kain question. However I'm sure many others will have input. Abeg apart from the regular elders wey dey help with responses, if you get any idea jus chuk mouth for this matter. Tojued: Biko the grammar is too big for me LOL
All I know is that if I'm investing 100k @14% for one year, my certificate will have face value of 114k and discounted value of 100k. I don't know any implications of this but as a layman I'll definitely go with my 114k face value if asked the worth of my certificate, No manipulations of the system intended.
Oh Okay... now that I've explained my understanding I now understand your point. Fortunately the VO is also a layman You can't be too sure o, if the VO is an ex-banker or investment manager nko? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by DadR: 4:38pm On Dec 30, 2018 |
While this is good, one should be careful too so that the VO won't think one is trying to play smart. Cos in the real sense, you've not really gotten value of the assumed 200k interest paid until the maturity date of the Tbills investment. This means that, if the Tbills investment is rediscounted (pre-terminated), the unearned interest would be deducted from the face value and the balance paid to you. Just thought to share my view. cc: tojued Hakuna Matata Godisincontrol: As an aside, for those using Tbills, the upfront interest that you will be paid as well as the invested sum can be used as POF. What I mean is assuming you invested 3.5m and the interest paid to you is 200k,you have 3.7m as POF. All you need do is add the Tbills certificate and a statement of your account showing the 200k and whatever is left in your account.
In your cover note for POF you list/tabulate them and sum it up and you are good. |

Has anyone here gotten or applied for PR through the Federal Skilled Trades before? If yes, please signify.

You came late, the party's over MissEmmy: Sir May God bless you. You completely spoke my mind. Why do some men feel the need to skip verse 21 of Eph 5 and jump to verse 22 as if 21 is not part of the scriptures, The hypocrisy of it all. I had to pause my reading and reply your post. Your wife is a lucky Lady, God continue to bless your marriage, Amen. |

Travel › Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by DadR: 3:04pm On Dec 21, 2018 |
I didn't really intentionally omit verse 21 but since you have assumed so and tagged me an hypocrite, no froblem . As I mentioned earlier, I'm not in for any form of argument. Peace! Ndukaezennia1: Hehehehehehehehe! Typical Nigerian hypocrisy being displayed here. Why did you omit verse 21 of this your lengthy bible post. My people verse Ephesian 5:21 says "Submit to one another out of Reverence for Christ (The NIV bible titles from vs21 to end as (Instruction to Christian household). But the typical Nigerian guy will always ignore that verse 21. But its ok. My brother @guitarlife if you are going to stay in Canada you must revisit your mindset of submission although I have reasons to believe you didn't want to marry the lady in question. Your submission story is just a cover loool! We have all used it before and gone ahead to marry crazier women. My wife told me worse than this lady told you I still went ahead and married her because I was crazily in love with this crazy girl. Three years down the line. I have a woman who will transfer her whole salary to me if I am short of cash, do my laundry( I do not know how much washing a shirt cost, she washes and irons like a pro), send me to market with soup list,I have customers now..Lol! hand me okra to cut, taught me how to make spaghetti and plantain (infact she swears I fry plantain better than her so she has stopped frying plantain, I do that now..Loool!But all in all I have a woman who is willing to love me with her all, who is still not afraid to call me out whenever she feels I am wrong. If that is the partnership, my guy I will take it and to be sincere I am happy. I will not lie and say I wasnt scared prior marriage but I have learnt that all you need is a good woman. if the so called partnership is me taking part in house chores. It hasn't killed me yet. This our Canadian journey she gave it her all infact I just started participating. My opinion is let us all work with stuff that will work for us. Naija favors we men all the time but if you are planning to move here with your spouse my dear naija brothers readjust o. Bikokwa to avoid had I known. If you dont want to you can do like our Igbo brothers relocate alone and be sending money down but then there are still downsides to that.. |

@guitarlife @azed1 @vcole @salford @panelofjudges @ouraudience I'm not here to argue , this is just for the records and to provide some clarity regarding whatever position our debaters have taken. Ephesians 5:22-33 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 1 Corinthians 11:3, 8-9 3. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 8. For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. Peace! maternal: You think you're smart, but you really aren't. Stop personalizing this. I've never experience these things personally, but I have a lot of friends who have been in different types of marriages. So please answer these questions and stop running your mouth all over the place.
1. Give me a clear example how the man is the head of the household ?
2. What is the natural order ? Again I want a clear example.
3. What exactly is the man's and woman's God given roles ? Other than child birth. Again I need clear examples.
4. What exactly is spirituality at a low level? Again, I need a clear example. Don't dance around these questions. |
