This is not correct! You don't need to show POF to get
a job offer. Please research more.

The POF requirement for AIPP is low because you already have a job offer, so you won't need to largely depend on the funds you brought to Canada because you'll be making income from your job immediately you land. The little fund would be used for your initial rent, transport fare, groceries, etc.

IRCC's POF requirement for EE is high because it is assumed that it might take up to 6 months for you to get a job and start to earn income, so you'll live on your POF during the period you're waiting to get a job.

Have you seen the phone physically? Have you inspected it to see that it's been opened before? It is very pathetic how people like you will assume what is not, and are able to type out your erroneous assumptions in a post and click on submit on NL just because it's a faceless forum.

BTW, I bought the phone for 60k from a senior colleague who purchased it brand new, and I've used it for well over a year. I'm the second user and the phone has never had any fault neither has it been opened nor worked on. I would have gone to Motorola for a free screen replacement cos it has 2 years warranty but my colleague couldn't locate the warranty paper. It was my son that broke the screen lately when I removed the screen guard and didn't replace it immediately. I decided to sell it rather than fix it cos I'm tired of it, besides, I've gotten another. So please, stop boldly saying what you are ignorance of.

In addition, what you saw on Jumia was most likely a discounted price for Motorola G5 16gb ROM, 3gb RAM and not G5 plus, 32gb ROM, 3gb RAM that I have for sale.

You just wish to be an antagonist for no reason. Please check my moniker well next time before you attack a gentle fellow like myself.

Lastly, 25k is just an asking price!

This moniker, wonderjewel, successfully sold this bad generator to me on Thursday, May 30, for 35k. I met with him at Iyana Ipaja axis on that fateful day.

Upon sighting the generator, the first thing I noticed was the traces of oil leakage under the generator. I immediately enquired from him if the generator has no oil leakage issues and he boldly stated that it has never leaked oil before. He even put his hand underneath to prove this, apparently, it's been well cleaned before he brought it to me, although I still saw traces.

I was actually in a hurry cos I sneaked out of the office to quickly make the purchase. I inspected other areas of the generator and discovered some minor issues but ignored them. I erroneously missed out the fact that the silencer has no hanger, it's dangling. My mind went back to the oil leakage issue again cos the generator I'm presently using has same issue and it won't make sense buying another generator with same problem. I again asked this gentle-looking guy more than two times and he still maintained that the generator has no oil leakage issue. Well, I believed him, took the risk and made payment.

In the evening of same day, my generator technician came around to inspect the generator (after purchase, lol) and do change the oil. He checked the generator and confirmed to me that the engine has had problem but was fixed. However, it was poorly done and I shouldn't have paid 35k for it. Poor me! He also told me to pay attention to the very loud noise of the engine. Sigh, I was like, I don buy this black market already. Sha change the oil make I dey manage am like that. He also mentioned the traces of oil and I was like the person I got it from said the oil doesn't leak.

At around past 11pm of same day when I wanted to go and put off the generator, I saw oil dripping from underneath the generator like when dem dey give person drip for hospital. I could easily spot the leakage cos I placed the generator on a used tyre. I was mad at myself that how could a sharp guy like me be a victim of this cheap jibiti?

Anyway, to cut my epistle short, I reached out to this bros on Friday to ask him why he had to conceal the true state of the generator all because he wanted it sold at all cost. But guess what? Bros was still maintaining that the generator no leak oil se! Shwo! I just weak. As a gentle man wey I be, I pleaded with him to refund 5k so that I can fix the oil leakage (just to give a try if the oil will stop leaking), and also sent him my account details. Bros no turn up. I called him like 4 times yesterday but he didn't pick my calls.

Bros wonderjewel, if I really want to make you come and carry your generator yourself and refund my 35k, I know what to do. But guess what? I'm a peaceful man and I try to follow peace with all men, and women too. .

I've moved on cos I've gotten someone who will pay 20k for this crap you call generator. But please, don't try this again with me (it can't even happen) or someone else. I may let go but others may not.

So potential buyers, please learn from this short story of mine.

Madam, I share your pain and worries. Firstly, IMO, I think you need to pray for God's direction and confirmation that going to Canada is His will for you and your family. If this is so, then you'll pray again for God to touch the heart of your husband, and every other things will just fall into place. Secondly, don't argue or talk about it with him again, just keep praying. The God that controls the hearts of kings and princes will touch his heart and make him to comply, if this is His will for you and yours.

My fellow nairalanders. I appreciate your help so far despite the fact that I haven't really gone too far. I am just at the ECA stage and registered for ielts next month. It's with a very great sadness that I might have to pull out of this canny dream. Really sad for me.���� hubby has seriously been reluctant. Says he loves his Naija and God has not instructed him to leave Nigeria and until he receives his heavenly dream from God, he is not going anywhere. He actually said if I want to go badly, I should. But here's the problem, with 3 kids ages 5 3, and 1.5 years old. How do I cope with daycare, job search, mobility, picking up from schools, groceries, and upkeep alone in Canada. To worsen it, he isn't supporting financially. I even offered and begged to have him sit for ielts and his eca with my monthly pay he reluctantly said yes but I thought, one can only force a horse to the river but not to drink. Without his help how will I survive with 3 beautiful kids alone in Canada. He is not even batting an eye concerning the benefits. He's a speedy driver, says cars are meant for speed how will such a person cope with Canadian traffic rules. These and some little others have just weakened me especially my children and the highest I can even leave them is a week. We are that close that they have never gone to bed without my hug and kisses. I dont have any family over there to help with. Good night.

Thank you. I only used IELTS online to study. For listening all I can say is pay very close attention to everything that is said, your spelling and the instructions.There is enough time to type down your answers so that shouldn't be a problem.

Also I found the listening test on Ieltsonline harder than the actual ielts exam was, and my average during the practice was 38 and I did about 3 volumes. So my advice is to practice well with that and you might find the actual ielts easy.

For reading, I'm a very fast reader so I was done with the exam in about 20mins (this was also the same while I was studying for the exam). Finishing super early gave me adequate time to go over the reading task 3 times which helped cause I changed some answers the 2nd time around.

Also E2 language blog has some tips on answering T, F, NG questions which made a huge difference for me as this was a section of reading I seriously struggled with during practice.

I need advice on what to do.

My current CSR score is 445 with 2 years of work experience. I will like to include my NYSC experience to boost my score however, it doesn't fall under the same NOC. I served as an financial accounts staff for 1 year but I have worked for the last 2 years as an investment analyst.

Can I go ahead and claim my NYSC experience under the same NOC as my current job description even though they are not exactly the same?

Note that I have maxed out on my IELTS.
