Yes o! A very "simple one". She was walking on the road one day and it rained and there was a nakked guy with an erect dick on the floor but she did not know, and as she was trying to jump a pool of water, she landed on the slippery part of the ground and her clothes tore immediately, and her bra and pants removed and she fell on the erect dick on the floor that she didn't see, and the ground started bouncing she and the guy until they both came ... It was just a very "simple mistake".

The worst part of infidelity, is when people say it was a mistake. Sometimes, I'm tempted to believe most people do not understand English. It would be easier for me to take, when someone says, "I know I messed up and misbehaved", than to hear that it was a mistake. A mistake is something done unintentionally and nobody cheats unintentionally. From the period of chatting and talking till they have sex, it is usually planned.
A mistake is different from when someone misbehaved.
And the ground started bouncing, grin grin grin grin grin grin
This took me out grin grin grin

It's really nothing spectacular. I'm just a firm believer in the principle that states that you should treat people the way you want to be treated and whatever you wouldn't take from a partner, don't do it to him/her. I believe we all should hold ourselves to certain standards that we demand from people. You can't be cheating and expecting loyalty. Yes, no one is perfect but if you fail, deal with the consequences. Simple.
I agree with this whole post completely.

let me rephrase my comment though, this is nice to see especially in the Nigerian context where it seems men are free to cheat, can give silly reasons for cheating and the wife is expected to forgive or manage it, while at the same time the wives are never expected to cheat, so to see someone not follow the crowd is always nice.

Nope. I always tell people to move if one partner cheats on the other. I can't stand infidelity. If I ever get married and for some reason mistakenly cheat on her, I'd ask for a divorce cos I wouldn't want to demand from her, loyalty that I can't give. The only reason I'd remain in the union is if she decides to forgive me despite me being unfaithful. But it wouldn't be me, demanding for what I do not deserve. Even if she forgives me, my mind won't be at rest cos my conscience would always prick me. I believe a woman shouldn't tolerate a cheating partner just as much as I believe a man shouldn't tolerate a cheating woman. Simple.

u should, people say they won't read cos they've watched the series, but the series is just loosely based on the book, there are many many events in the books that weren't in the series.
That's not my reason though,
I will try, but the book I have, it's an eBook, instead of chapters it's the characters names that are the headings, I've not seen that style before, lol,

Also when reading, little details like the description of the rooms, things that do not need description in the series are described there, makes it more tiring for me to read, hmmm, maybe because I'm reading it with the mind that I've watched the series, I will try and read it as a new book I just came across, I will see how that goes.

But one day, when I will read, and I will probably tag you to start 'oooohing' and 'aaahing' over how the book is so is more interesting or how they cut things out, lol, I'll try

Nice research. People dont really know this. Aerys even ordered jamie to bring him the head of his father(tywin lannister). That Aerys na real mad king. Daenerys inherited small traits of madness too.
I've seen people say this, I don't remember her doing anything special to show that becuase this is game of thrones, where barely anyone is normal, so what makes her own madness?

Season 7 was a little weak. So they should use those 2 years to give us something better,

When Aerys wanted to execute Rickard Stark, Stark asked for a trial by combat. He got what he wanted though, but what Aerys did was to hang him upside down and put a brazier under him, and said the champion of house Targeryan was fire ( I'm sure he was hoping to fight one of the kingsguard). So to prove his innocence, he had to not burn. grin.

The Florida photographer who shoots his pregnant subjects underwater

Most pregnant women feel anything but weightless in their third trimester. That is likely not the case for the subjects of Florida photographer Adam Opris, who captured expectant women underwater for his latest project. The resulting images make the moms-to-be look almost mermaid-like, with gauzy dresses and loose, flowing hair.

The photos also present an intimate and romantic look at the pregnant female form—in most cases the women are tenderly cradling their bumps. Other photos feature the women's partners, and one adorable shot features a toddler thrilled at the prospect of becoming a big sister.
I love this,

| The expectant dog that got a glamorous maternity shoot

Fusee is a very good dog. Her owner, Elsa, counts the pup as her best friend. So when she got pregnant, Elsa knew she wanted to give her pooch the celebration she deserved.

She scheduled an elegant maternity photo shoot fit for a queen.
Eight weeks into Fusee’s pregnancy, Elsa roped in her sister’s boyfriend, Clayton Foshaug, to photograph Fusee in all her expectant glory. He got the duo to pose in the park with flowers, a "soon 2 be mom" sign, and Fusee even donned a floral crown.

The colorful photoshoot created for for a "rainbow" baby

After giving birth to her first child, Jessica experienced six miscarriages. But by August 2016, she had sailed into her third trimester with a baby girl. This was her "rainbow" baby (defined as a child born after a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death, like a rainbow following a storm).

Jessica’s husband knew it was important to document this miracle and approached From Labor to Love photographer JoAnn Marrero. The result was a breathtaking, multicolored maternity shoot that captured the attention of social media while simultaneously capturing Jessica's glow

The mom-to-be who posed with 20,000 bees
Mother-to-bee

Emily Mueller is a honey bee activist. The 33-year-old from Ohio is already a mom of three and is now celebrating her new pregnancy by posing for a photoshoot with a four-pound swarm of bees—that's 20,000 flying insects—on her belly.

Mueller made a career out of saving honey bees in Akron and the surrounding areas. As the Summit County Apiary Inspector and Master Beekeeping Program Chair for the Ohio State Beekeeper's Association, she is the woman behind "Mueller Honey Bee," a company with a mission to rescue honey bees through swarm removals and cutouts.
Mueller got into beekeeping after suffering several miscarriages.

For the photo shoot, she enlisted the help of her husband and Kendrah Damis Photography to make her "bee-utiful" idea come to life.

Emily says she was stung four times during the process but claims the injuries were her fault, as she accidentally squished a few of the bees.

What they call Juju tricks are just ancient scientific knowledge that the DIbias(Native Doctors) hide from the public to keep their enterprise alive.

That is the difference between the science of today and that of the olden days.

The science of today is not treated as sacred knowledge only to be known by a select few but rather as a necessary knowledge that everyone should know.

But in the ancient times scientific knowledge was treated as a sacred knowledge known only by the priestly class passed on to their successors with the uttermost discretion then bathed in superstition and uncalled awe to the naive mind.

If a magician reveals the secrets behind his tricks, it loses it's awe and becomes less magical

PointB:
.

I've always maintained that Nnamdi Kanu was wrong to call Nigeria a Zoo, the proper classification is Jungle. At least the Zoo has some semblance of order. In Nigeria nothing is done orderly.

In the first place, the Military (reduced to merely doing police work) overreached their mandate by declaring IPOB a terrorist organisation. Secondly, the clueless South-East governor tried to capitalised on this by proscribing the group and announcing ban on rallies and protests, directing aggrieved citizen to channel grievances through Ohaneze. And there is the question of Ohaneze. In which way is Ohaneze more representative of Igbos than say IPOB or even MASSOB? Where do they derive their mandate from?

And as if the litany of clueless act was not enough, a police commissioner criminalizes the possession of Biafra paraphernalia.

One recurring decimal in all these is that the elites are trying to suppress freedom through exercise of power they do not possess. This is characteristic of jungle behaviour. This qualifies Nigeria as a Jungle!

For the avoidance of doubt only the Judiciary has the right to pronounce IPOB as terror organisation. Yet I doubt if the same judiciary has the power to ban protest or agitation. That's where the South East governors got it wrong.

Anyone could be bad, man or woman. They keep saying women are evil, their mothers are never evil.
Lol cheesy
That's why sometimes I just ignore, they have the ability to be neutral and deal with issues objectively but they will not, they will rather be bias, they will only snap back to reality when it's their mum or any female person they care for. I don't like the idea that a man cannot objectively deal with issues involving women unless you relate it to their female loved ones. It's not right.

In self-defence, I will definitely retaliate and commend anyone who does same. I will also condemn anyone who puts his/her spouse through any kind of pain. If you know that thing that hurts your spouse avoid it.
Well said, this is also what I meant when I said that I don't condone any type of abuse, so why is someone saying I'm justifying verbal abuse?

What I don't support is the belief that verbal/emotional abuse warrants physical abuse. Any day verbal/emotional abuse is being repaid with physical abuse by couples, there will be a state of emergency in marriages.

I'll keep suggesting proper marital counselling for intending couples. Counselling by professionals.
Nice.

I ask you again, do you ever see men do bad?
You even have their time
Is it not nairaland again?

Anyways I do not support any kind of abuse either physical, emotional, verbal but the fact that someone abused you verbally should never make you resort to physical abuse, never, walk away, find a way to deal with it, but never ever physical abuse, so all these useless excuses they keep coming up with, they can keep to themselves.

And if someone ever lays a hand on you (male or female), you can always fight back, damn what societal rules say, after all, it's self defence.

I don't subscribe to this men are bad or women are bad trash which it seems like nairaland wants to perpetuate
It's individuals themselves, people, who are bad, a whole gender should never be labelled because of the actions of silly people.
