@poster you forgot to mention the Kiriji war whereby after incessant harassment by Ibadan soldiers a rag tag Ekiti Parapo army comprising soldiers from many small Ekiti communities under the command of the ruthless Commander named Ogedengbe Agbogun Gboro of Okemesi-Ekiti who not only defeated the Ibadan warriors, but also decimated them and pursued them far into Ibadan before withdrawing. The picture of the man is at National Archives in University of Ibadan and his statue is still at Okemesi-Ekiti till today. |

It is very clear that many just rush into responding to threads without really knowing much about the issue involved. That groom is not a Nigeria Policeman, he must be a citizen to have joined one of the many American police departments, to confirm check out his ceremonial dress and even the cap badge that is enough to tell any observant person the true situation. |
Good day Mr Tadeus how much will bring Lexus GX 470 2006/2007 or Toyota Highland 2010 to Lagos all package. |

Ehyaaa too bad. Bayelsa generally has serious problem of flooding because of the peculiar terrain. There are very few locations you can build without sand filling. A place like Amassoma is particularly worse off anytime there is rain most of the town is flooded. |

Igbos in Lagos need not fear any physical assault on them, but should expect astronomical increase in shop and house rents most especially in Lagos Island and a little increase in harassment from area boys. What many do not know is that Oba Akinolu owns many of the commercial properties in the business areas of the Island. |

Bizbloke pls how do I get a powerful power bank to buy? |
Well I bought my own n7 yesterday at Microstation Computer Village for N30000 flat as an average user that only browses and makes voice call I think the fone is ok at least by my own rating I have bought very expensive Samsung and BB fones but this time around I just feel why should I pay Ñ70k fo the same thing I should buy half of that. Anyways I am still watching the battery performance before I can give a permanent verdict. I don't play games on phones i guess I don't need any rooting |
Me too i was confused i thought i was seeing double |
Ok o! The people concerned are not taking Boko Haram's threat lightly, if you work in Lagos Island, Ikoyi or Victoria Island you would have experienced the grid lock created by security agencies as a result of Madam Patience Jonathan's visit to Lagos yesterday, but at the same time the stupid blood thirsty terrorists are day dreaming. Despite our so called high level of insecurity, for them to say they will kill the President is a joke carried too far. |
@All Pls Perdon my many typographic errors I was typing on an iPad, and it is hell doing that |
[quote author=harakiri]Overseas? YES! Nigeria? NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA! The only licensed gun you can get in Nigeria are single/double barreled shotgun (NOT pump action). Imagine being attacked by robbers who are wielding AK-47's and the only thing you can defend yourself with is a gun that you have to reload after every shot. That alone is enough to enrage the robbers the more and they will make sure they gun you down at all costs. If you possess an automatic/semi-automatic gun in Nigeria and you're discovered by Police, you're finished! Even if you used it to protect yourself from attack, you will be treated worse than the armed robbers. If you kill a robber with it, you will be charged with murder. It's really frustrating. That's why you'll see people owning mansions and yet no gun in Bross you started well, but messed your good point at the end of the day. Why would you be found in possession of a prohibited firearm in the first instance if the law says you are not entitled to it. If robbers invade your house and you get down one or two of them nobody will charge you for any damned murder, but you may be asked to explain the source of the weapon if it is prohibited or on the other hand if it is a personal firearm if it is licensed once you pass this nobody will take you up. Do not blame anybody for mansion owners not having guns at home, tell any of them to patronize a government licensed armorer he will facilitate the licensing for him, to locat one visit any State Command armorer, they have a list of all private armouris.Another problem is that most Nigerians prefer to own a pump action gun instead of the lawful double barrel. If you kill with an unlicensed gun you will answer ome questions, those countries that allow their citizens to own guns have very stringent rules they follow even at that I have lost count of guns that got to wrong hands in the US and other western countries and we all saw the havoc they have caused. |
