Great piece of godly education.
I wish we all get to hear from God so much more. Our lives will be hassle free and man's inhumanity to his fellow men will cease..
Our political elites consciousness and consciences have been totally blocked.. Billions that can save many lives and destinies at ending shared all the time.
Many dying as security votes get pilfered as we speak....
May His majestic voice be heard by all and sundry as God has ability to speak even to unbelievers and believers alike |
Christianity Etc › What Is Your Understanding Of Sabbath? by dalass(op): 5:45am On Jul 26, 2020 |
Happy Sunday to all Nairalanders. Congratulations to us all. By God's special grace, we're seeing the last Sunday in July despite all the evil happenings all over. To God be the glory! Sabbath is biblical and observed by Jews from sun down on Friday till sundown on Saturday. It was ordained by God as the day in which He rested after creating the heaven and earth in six days. Sabbath was really made by God for mankind because God - Does not sleep or slumber He doesn't get tired like we do. He's a Spiritual supernatural being. We are flesh and we get tired, hence we do need rest. - God wants a day to have us to Himself without the distractions that trading or other activities bring into worship. - Every living thing God made needs to rest to avoid breaking down. - There is a place of rest in God spiritually that we need to enter for our own peace of mind. It is possible to lay down and try to sleep but if your spirit/ mind is not at rest ( busy or worried) you won't sleep! Do you observe Sabbath? Which day do you observe yours? (Friday Saturday or Sunday) Why do you worship or rest on that particular day of the week? Have churches been opened in your State? Do have a wonderful Sunday! |

[quote author=Chibokgame post=92063128[b]]I am really suprised to the picture of an adult collecting the radio on camera, May be it was just for photographic show. Obviously they did not give the children again but their political party loyalists.. As usual Schools should be on air. Like TV, Websites, even android phones will do.... Backward leaders and their warped thinking.... When a 10 year old Nigerian but UK based girl already has certification in coding! And already hired by a school to teach! Hmmmm... frankyychiji: No bro I didn't even mean fulani in that manner. I meant that they are the ones who are synonymous with transistor radios may be due to their nomadic lifestyle. What happened to laptops and Android phones etc. It was just very funny how you stated the obvious fact Abi what will they do with laptops and androids? But some of those civil servants don't even see the need to have an android phone not to talk of laptops... IMO, methinks that the commissioner himself would have done better if he himself is computer literate. |

TheFreeOne: Ironically Buhari is part of those brokering peace deal in Mali whilst there are worse situations in naija from lack of jobs, bad economy, insecurity coupled with incessant killings in different parts of the country and gargantuan corruption in MDAs of govt.
Charity should begin at home and Nigerians needs to learn from citizens of smaller African countries that are challenging status quo of bad governance.
What's the essence of claiming to be giant of Africa when majority of citizens are docile. I wonder oh... The Malian President will just be looking at them like pot calling the kettle black.... He wants to put someone fire out while the roof of his own house is on fire! Obasanjo alone does better job of such nature than these bunch of jihadists seated there |

Lemme shake the table.
I'm Thinking of Sending A Bill to the National Assembly for consideration and for further approval.
This bill will be about Childbirth Control.
Personally, I know things are hard and difficult in this country and people find it hard to survive on this side of the world.
We live in a jungle-like environment. Our beast-like or lion-like heart within us is roaring/booing /crying for daily survival.
This question comes to mind that what is surviving on?
We are surviving on austere and hostility economy. We are surviving on the epileptic power supply, We survive on our ability and/or inability to cope with our shylock landlord/ tenants as the case may be, we survive on Inflation of foods and food products, we are surviving on, minuscule/miniature (income, wages, and salaries,) and/or crumpy dividends from Npower, etc.
We have perpetually thrown our predicament behind us and daily dress- up ourselves with pretentious raiment and unctuous Royal Apparel. What a phony lifestyle!
And like a song by the late Afro-Legend, -" we resorted to Suffering and Smiling lifestyles"
Our survival is a jungle-like survival with all manner of preys and predators co-existence. Like roaring beasts and lions, who walketh about looking/seeking for who to devour (1Peter 5:
I wouldn't want to bother you will much of my rhetoric or my evanescence fugacious epistle, folks...
permit me to ossify and crystalize on this debatable points...
Mas/Sirs, Since we all know that we live in a critical and precarious environment where you were all forced to improvise for government inability to adequately provide our basic necessities. Folks, this big question comes to mind:/
1. Do we care enough for our child(ren) as we ought to?
2. That since we have understood the socio-economic situation of our society, that, is it conscientiously justifiable to keep producing more kids for society and also allow them to swim through the river of hostility and austerity that we swam through?
3. And that why can't we adopt marriage- without-children strategy like the western world has done to reduce or control childbirth.
Finally, why can't the government, various institutions, and individuals advocate for celibacy as another alternative to control childbirth?
We know that an average African has this sense of Ownership. (That is, I want to have my child and own them so that I can be cared for in my old age....)This was the mentality we inherited from our ancestors and since there are ages and times have passed, I wondering if this normative can be changed to achieve a better society you and I can be proud of...
In conclusion, we need to keep asking ourselves these salient questions;/ That since we are all fixative in continue in the path of our ancient landmark and /or our native normative, we need to know that our intention to get married or to have many more children comes with adequate and robust responsibilities if we are to be fair to these our unborn generation. Knowing fully well that the journey we were being made to embark on by our parents was daunting and stressful. so, if we don't want to handover such precarious journey for them to keep on languishing in excruciating pain and struggles, how adequate have we prepared for them to live a safe and better environment? Or are bringing them up. as only a tool to extort or /and exploit In our old age...
Food for thought... Too much grammar. Are you related to Hon. Patrick Obiaghon?.. |

patosky3310: He is actually optimistic. The peak of anything is usually the highest and end of that thing. He, therefore meant that after next month, the cases will be coming down. Go back and read it, you will see that he also said that the number of cases will start decreasing after that August. Well my own version of optimism is that it had peaked last month and decrease sharply this month.... Even Buhari travelled out of the country. So where is the Covid virus again? |
