Any sensible civil society would rather give the police an ultimatum to charge them to court if they have sufficient evidence or release them if they don't.

You're right. Its just Nigerian police sometimes arrest innocent guys and when they don't settle the police properly get charged for crimes they know nothing of.

This is so sad. That they can't even establish the killers.. Cos I think that there won't be any agitation if it werent that they caught innocent people

The residence of a former Senate President, David Mark, in Otukpo town, Benue State was gutted by fire on Thursday.

Witnesses said the fire spread from a nearby bush bordering the fence of the ex-senate president’s residence and burnt down two ambulance vehicles as well as over 15 motor cycles parked in the premises.

It was gathered that domestic workers at the residence made frantic efforts to put out the fire without much success before the arrival of the State Fire Service in Otukpo.

One of the domestic workers, who preferred anonymity, said, “we made every effort to quench the fire but the more we tried the more it continued to spread.

“It was when we noticed that we could not stop it from engulfing the guest house that we called in the Fire Service.”

At the time of this report, however, none of the family members has yet commented on the matter even as it was learnt that Mark himself was away from home.

It has to do with practice, consistency is the key. You get better as you keep doing it despite being scared at the beginning.

I guess you're an introvert. Get out of your shell and talk more. Extroverts are naturally good at this, so as an introvert, you have to work at it and associate more with people to be comfortable around them.

Finally as you start speaking, don't make eye contact yet, cause some people's expressions can scare you off. Also crack a joke or do something to break the ice, to make your audience more receptive and un the process ease your own tension.

Why waste time making subtle gestures towards a guy you like in hopes that he will read your gestures as greenlights when you can simply just walk up to him and tell him you like him?
