Sunny_bobo: Why are people like you so few and far in between? Reading the post from most NLers leaves one wondering why Nigerians are incapable of rational thinking, no one has even bothered to find out the story about the ambulances. |

Camilia247: Mr. Brinkley wrote a column for Tribune Media Services (http://trib.in/WeyJsR) that contains largely inaccurate facts, poorly- (or un-) researched information, hear-say and grossly xenophobic opinions about Vietnam and Vietnamese culture, and disguised it all as legitimate journalism. When called out about the errors in his so-called journalism, Mr. Brinkley not only defended his writing, but further disparaged other Southeast Asian countries. He is allowed to create chaos because the uninformed ldiots outnumber the right thinking people |

Decryptor: How can they impeach him when the bigger thief a.k.a David Mark is the senate president? A man who rejected a bill that unemployed graduates in Nigeria should be paid N20,000 every month. They are all bloody criminals. If only...If just only the dreaded Boko Haram would stop killing innocent citizens and divert their activities to these thieving nigerian poli"trick"ians and their families, they would have my thumbs up at the end of the day. God bless the mod who posted this on FP. This is the kind of story that should be on frontpage so that the whole world will know what is going on.n N20,000 for all unemployed youths a month! Are u normal at all? |

nex: Any further attempt to analyse the level of damage, destruction, insecurity, and corruption prevailing in this country today is to resume another round of whipping on the proverbial dead horse. Yoruba People self! We just need to add the fact that after the impeachment, the Niger delta can form its own country....mugus |

D sage: These question are built around your desire to buy fuel at a subsidized rate...let me ask, first of all, are you paralized? why do you want someone else to perpetually pay for a comodity for you? |

Rhapsody!: Like I said before, myopic people would have argued against derugulation of telecoms because they could not be sure that govt officials wouldnt embezzel the licence fees paid to federation accounts... Wise ones knew that deregulation of the telecoms sector would provide for more jobs, improved economy, efficient business etc... My dear people can we deregulate the downstream sector totally now? You can choose the myopic option or the wise option!! |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans To Raise Petrol Prices Again by DaLover(m): 11:35am On Mar 20, 2013 |
Rhapsody!: what hardship are you talking about? apart from Lagos and a few other cities, the rest of the country pay between =N=130 and =N=200 for pms, the poor people u r trying to protect are paying the balance after =N=97 to some few people somewhere 2 Likes |

Rhapsody!: Why on earth do you want me to answer a question that I have told you is irrelevant? OK, the additional money from the increase of pms from 70 to 97naira has been stolen...how does that help your case? whats your main goal now? how does this stop the ongoing /existing subsidy from greating the opportunities for corruption? |

Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans To Raise Petrol Prices Again by DaLover(m): 11:14am On Mar 20, 2013 |
D sage:Why r you so myopic and so short termed! did I talk of SURE-P anywhere? I talked about allowing a privately run down stream sector and the opportunities it would create and you are refering to SURE-P... Stop looking for freebiee...free thing dey purge belle...and that whats is killing nigerians we have been told that government will run our lives and and we are happy with such policies... |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans To Raise Petrol Prices Again by DaLover(m): 11:10am On Mar 20, 2013 |
Rhapsody!:You seem to forget that the subsidy itself is a fraud... Our system of governance is built on providing subsidy for able bodied human beings...we have decide to take the small money we have and generally encourage the masses to wallow in laziness...and you people are indirectly defending such a system... If subsidy did not exist...there whould be no subsidy fraud...forget the politics of SURE-P and think straight for once... The best functions of a government are regulations, if we insist that the government should run our lives then we should be prepared to also live with the associated corruption that is involved in such sillyness. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans To Raise Petrol Prices Again by DaLover(m): 11:04am On Mar 20, 2013 |
Rhapsody!: Lets be pessimistic and also ask, how has the money from the telecoms licences paid been used..$285 million per operator that time....you do not cut your nose to spite your face.... its like saying because people are going to eat the $285 million, hence stop deregulation of telecoms sector and rely on Nitel.... |

O My fellow Nigerians, why do we inadvently conderm ourselves to to perpetual life of doom and gloom Derugulation should mean governments gets out of the business of distributing products and competing with the business man on the downstream sector... It should mean that people can invest in refining in country it should mean that Nigeria should tend towards less exportation of raw crude to exportation of refined products, thus add value and jobs to the economy, it should mean govt will cut the high overhead and recurrent expenduture spent in managing this services. It should mean more competition in that sector... All these thrown away because we want someone else to pay the price of crude for us? Its a real pity |

Reminds of the story of a dog that had a piece of meat in its mouth walking over a bridge across a river, it looked down and saw another dog in the river holding a seamingly bigger pice of meat..it jumped into the river amd we know that that one went.. In a bid for everyone to jump on the Nigerdelta Oil we have all forgeten that everyone has one form of resource or the other...this is the root cause of the laziness and curryption thgat we are experiencing today. |

saved: :- Na so you hate poli-trickcians?. How dem go see money loot if your proposal works. Another name for Nigeria's Democracy is "IWURUWURU" If you put Maurice na you sabi o The issue of looting is secondary, during the first republic, the western region was run on taxes paid by cocoa farmers and associated people...politicians looting money do not discriminate between money generated by taxes and money from free oil |
Politics / Re: Northerners Are Not Controlling Nigeria's Oil Blocks by DaLover(m): 5:14pm On Mar 08, 2013 |

omonnakoda: Well if you find gold in your compound you should have the power to stop others taking it from you. That is the essence of sovreignty.Even in the wild A lion may kill meat and hyaenas bully it and take it. So to define an area as your compound you must be able to control it.That is the starting point. Anything else is just naive and not facing reality Its good you are saying this because now that you have agreed that the strongest earns the right, you should be very comfortable with Nigeria as it is...those with the opportunity are taking things (free things) because they are in a position to do so.... It would be double talk to complain about politician stealing from Nigeria and then turn around to engourage the country to deny people their rights to their resources. 2 Likes |
