kopite: am presently drilling on sedco702 rig Bonga field. Owned by SNEPCO(shell nigeria offshore). thanks for all yur information. no state has claim to it cos its off the continental shelf. you get here by flying from lasgos or warri but in terms of proximity and naija greed, its owned by delta state. oyel too much. aribisala0 hope yu are satisfied? bros how work for malaysia? cheers. In terms on renevue acrual, it is under bayelsa, and it is closer to bayelsa, not delta. |
Demdem: dacrazy, u are a fool. i asked him to focus more on it. Are u blind to see that part of my post or what? eediot. The bad belle is evident for all to see, all sectors of the power industry are recieving adequate attention.baaaaluuus |
Demdem: Again, i salute the OBJ admin for initiating and commencing this projectAnd who told you he is not focusing on it? hide your head in shame..or are you a shameless person? |
MAYOWAAK: “Nigeria's national budget is 5 trillion Naira? Nigeria is not a poor country then, Nigeria is a miserable country. Five trillion Naira would be something like 33 billion USD or some 25 billion Euros. And this is the national budget of a 52 year old nation of some 160 million people! Now, factor in the endemic corruption and you'll have a nation screwed forever…Taiwan, precisely earned 25 billion USD in 2011 from the sales of only Notebook Computers. South Korea in 2010 joined the clubs of nations earning more than 300 billion USD per year exporting value added finished high tech products. And these are little nations in terms of population and geographical space. On our side, we are drunk and drowning in a freely produced natural product, oil. And this oil is extracted by foreigners. Pathetic!”And people still want free this and free that in this country...believeing that it is a very rich nation...we have a lot of daft people parading themselves as educated |
but they dont leave there, Ijaws do |
You keep going on about this PTF...I may be wrong..but when PTF was scrapped nigerians did not go into the streets protesting, demanding for it to be brought back...worse still is the fact that it was used to develop mostly northern nigeria...please stop insulting our intelligence with this Buhari and Abacha scrap. Thanks |
its time we regard him as a hero, his stand was-if we are to live as one country, we should have automous regions within the country that will develop at their own rates...the rest of the country refused and a war ensured...now children of those who refused are asking for SNC...to negociate exactly what Ojukwu negociated for in 1966/7 at Aburi..if nothing, he is a national hero because he was smart enuf to see what the future would be like, while those that refused and have taken us to were we are today are the cowards. |
aribisala0: Simple question If there was no Nigeria and you had all the coastal states as Independent nations. Do you believe any single nation among those states can claim Bonga exclusively successfullyYou first started by saying it belongs to lagos, after relevant pictures were shown to you, you said it belongs to nobody, if bayelsa where a country, it would belong to Bayelsa full stop
|
Clearly Bonga is even off Bayelsa, and not even Delta, Talk less of Ondo or Lagos, I don't understand what my friends from the SW want...already snepco has set up office in Lagos, everything concerning Bonga is run from lagos, as if that insult on the Nigerdeltans is not enuf, you also want to claim that Bonga is off shore lagos...na wa ooo |
Reuben has confirmed what people like us have being saying all along....that sitting on one side of the fence and cri sizing ignorantly is what most people do...the easiest thing in the whole world is to criticize or blame someone...it is even worse when the person deliberately refuses to avail himself/herself of the full information before opening heir moth to blab.... On the other hand there are those unrepentant ones who will never see anything good...the never do gooders..ever here to pounce on any information the smells of negativity..according to Reuben, they probably feel the elections are still on.. |
I often hear people say that nigeria is a very rich country...I feel that is a notion that is in the minds of a lot of Nigerians at various levels in this country..it has inform the welfarist approach we as a nation have adopted in governance. At a population of 160 million, and one income source, the estimate of our revenue can be calculated as follows.. 2 million barrels per day X 100 dollars a barrel X 365 = $73billion per annum Lets see what other nations are earning www.oecd-ilibrary.org/economics/real-net-national-income-2012-2_nni-table-2012-2-en Country Population (million). Net revenue(billions $) Australia. 22. 550 Finland. 5.4. 130 Israel. 8. 150 Mexico. 112. 1,200 If we consider Mexico where things are so bad, the citizen risk their lives to cross the border to United States, we see that their revenue is almost 15 times ours with 3/4 of our population. Yet we say nigeria is a rich country, thus we settle down to share oil money with no iota of thoughts towards revenue generation..note some of these countries on the list have no oil or other mineral resources...it's mostly down to human resources, some of them can't boast of he number of educated people in lagos yet they are generating such incomes... Here those set of educated ones amongst us continue to spread the false believe that we are a rich nation and there by must distribution of what little is generated by oil... My take is that Nigeria is an extremely poor country made worse by corruption due to unsustainable welfare schemes......no natural resource can make a country rich, only human resources enrich a country..... Which brings the question....when will those with hordes of graduates and professors step up to make this country start benefitting from the investments in their education.... Mods front page please |
sayusuf: The most important thing is that the northern governors and house of assembly will kill the bill. that is all.Yet it is true, given that they are the arrow heads of the current parasitic system...I don't have to educate you on what happens when a parasite feeds of a host for a long time.. |
seanet01: That is why the Niger delta is a R.e.tarded region. You always think everybody is a parasite. Just to let you know, South west is gaining virtually nothing in this Country from Niger Delta. Don't start any debate on federal allocation else i will nuke your head with tactical facts and figuresPay start the debate...nuclear man, you hate a people with so much passion yet you live of their resources...sit down for a minute and think of what that makes you |
Demdem: ;DI would actually love to choke on the oil, but its being used to sustain you and your family, honest truth ko...honest truth ni. What a child you are! |
Gbawe: I take no interest in alienating anyone here or dividing the forum. Nonetheless, I think we can achieve a lot by identifying what unifies us as a nation. It is almost impossible for citizens of a badly led nation not to know their few good guys. If you think about it, Dalover's gaffe eloquently illustrates the problem with Nigeria. We are simply too bigoted, divided and sentimental to note that the best nations stand as they do today because the majority always support those who they deem to be acknowledged good guys wherever they are from. Dalover's excuse for not knowing a distinguished Nigerian like Nuhu Ribadu is simply pathetic. How about I tell you , even as I am not south-African, I forgot who Mandela is? Dalover has no excuse , if a neutral Nigerian who respects our most patriotic and important men, for confusing El Rufai with Ribadu.Just imagine the strength with which you focus on the little things...it's no wonder the bigger picture regarding Nigeria's problems continue to elude you...while your type continue to see corruption as the problem, others see it as a symptom of structural deficiencies in the system which need to be addressed. On the other hand it could be that the strength you deploy to non issues is part of your greater scheme of bring him down at all cost...or how else would you assume that forgetting someone's name amounts to not knowing the person...and then proceeding to flog the issue like a mad man hallucinating. |
Demdem: dacrazy, u are eternally foolish. I dont even live in lagosDumbo it's not about where u live, but the mentality you parasitic savages bring to this forum. |
touch_me_hard: I don't have to wait for any body to tell me that this must have been the handwork of the oppossition in a bid to cause people to ridicule the President. The retardeen lagos mafia (demdem, dakano, eko ile, gbawe etc) don't care....gej seams to be a thorn in the flesh of their very existence...it like it's driving them insane |
Sagamite: person product of a failed education system is saying someone's head is empty? |
Sagamite: person product of a failed education system is saying someone's head is empty?Seems you are dying hard to add a new word to English, good luck with that |
Gbawe: Brainless, bigoted and clannish fool. Who does not know the name of Nuhu Ribadu except for a hateful m0r0n like you? You should be ashamed of yourself. If one of the most memorably important men in recent Nigerian history is not known to you, does that not confirm you are a m0r0n and/or a bigot? What more is needed to confirm you live in a bigoted world where Nigeria , for you, only involves being aware about your kinsmen and not all Nigerians especially those no Nigerian can forget because of the impact they have made on national life. Silly bigot. What an unbelievable twit.I remember now, Nuhu ribadu, how could I have forgotten so soon, my brain self...trust me, I keep confusing the guy with el rufai...lol I did not say he is not know to me ooo...Abeg put me down |
OsunOriginal: Man, I am amazed at the level of illiteracy and ignorance in those regions - SE/SS. They are too backward in terms of knowledge than I could ever have imagined - thank God for social media. In the SS we are not educated enuf to wash dead bodies, clean streets, toilets, bus conductors in London, so help us that the good lord again for social media |
alj harem: finally you are back, the silly insults you give Nairalanders because of crude oil in SS has not ended.Am sorry to have insulted you, but how else was I to get you of the parasitic lifestyle you had grown accustomed to? can we let bygones be bygones and agree to contribute to growth of this country and stop leaching on minorities? |
Gbawe: Olodo. Brainless twit still cannot fathom the error revealing his gross ignorance and lack of knowledge. EL Rufai did not run to be President in 2011. Go back and gain a short history lesson to see who did that you are confusing with EL Rufai. Or better still, learn to use google since you have a free laptop at your disposal. Silly olodo. When you are this confused, it should only be those who have time to waste engaging you here.Lol...to be honest I actually forgot he name of the third guy, but decided to put el rufai. Something about both of keeps getting me confused...I don't even want to remember him anyway...just needed o get a message across to sane people...unfortunately I am powerless in preventing less intellectually endowed lazy fellows from seeing or responding to it.. Hope this post leaves you with more errors to ejaculate on. Lol what a silly human being |
However, another reliable source said that "When Mayd was put on the list of performing artistes, the organizers didnt know he wasn`t with Square recordsThis version is what I feel really happened, Pasquale would not let may d perform with them giving the acrimonious circumstances of the breakup |
Gbawe: What a clueless person. EL Rufai contested in 2011? Who is Bihari? I feel sorry for those who even respond to you here.Yes pick on my grammatical errors...it's what you have sadly been reduced to |
Gbawe: What a clueless person. I feel sorry for those who even respond to you here.So confirm you are now feeling sorry for yourself? |
kulutempa: I have seldom come across a more succinct summary of the Nigerian political landscape. The question I always ask people who say he is from their area is this: how has that benefited you and your family, or increased your standard of living? Was it people from his area who massively voted for him? |
seunajia: Poor attempt, try harder.I should be asking how old u are based on your shallow post....if you are really honest with yourself...you would admit that the annoyance felt by those who were asked to pay market price for Pms continues to fuel the desires of chronically lazy Nigerians to bring gej down at all cost...even if is means picking on his grammatical errors to say we told you so... While gej has his faults people like me cannot stand aside and allow a deranged tibalistic horde of infant reasoning persons to impost their crude outdated welfaristic way of governance on the rest of us. Three people stood for elections in 2011, gej, Bihari and elruai... Please tell me what Nigerians did wrong? |
nagoma: You are always evading the topic which performance and capacity both of which the president lacks. You also speak as if you work harder than everybody , just because you were told that there is crude oil behind your raffia hut, you think you own it all. You lazy lot must get out of Nigeria before you can claim our sovereign resources as yours alone. The fact we are talking about now is that your champion is a dummy. What damn performance are you talking about? Have you even managed a complex project before? Where were you expecting power to be at this time? Have you examined the things that need to be done encounters to getting this power? And how would you rate the govt efforts to tackle the issues Roads, what and what roads an be done with our current budget? And what has been done? What could have been done better? Health, what picture do u see for running hospitals/health care govt, private or mixed, what funds are available to implement international standard health care across the length and breath of the country, how much is needed? What can be achieved on a year to year basis? Same for other sectors, military, agric, oil etc Coming here to shout performance, performance, performance without a shred of evidence to show that you even bothered to find out what is going on? And see what can be achieved in 1year plus... |

. I can guarantee you that even Cameroun would have a claim.
