Dammytex, in your NL interview you claimed to be 33+, I believe the cutoff age is 25 lipsrsealed

Anyone 25 and older should please not contest.

I'm sorry sis, but you are wrong. I wrote 30+

If you ask properly, I will just tell you. I don't hide.
I was 30 last April.

Now, you know why I lay back and watch while some kids here rant.

I was team #dammytex last year until I caught him cheating with flashdarin66

Madam, please permit me to say this again. I did not know anything about that thread until about 40 pages. I did not even know some of my facebook pics were moved there. I was called names for sins I did not commit. Please I did not cheat anything, I don't even know how to go about the cheating sef.
I told Ogugua this is the reason I won't contest now sef.

But seriously, if there were misappropriations during the polls last June, I'd like to know who was behind it on my behalf..

All of you clamouring for front page, can you see what you have caused yourself now? Check the number of guests viewing this thread and the number of posters voting at the moment. Its now a landslide victory for Achukwu chukwu. You wanna know why; she's the prettiest of all the girls here. Na fact, no be lie.

Sweetlemon is having a lot of votes only amongst faithful Romance section NLers because of her active posts. The prettiest on a plain ground remains Achukwunet and she does not even need any campaigner.

This contest is beginning to look like La Liga for my eye..

Two horse race between Barcelona and Real Madrid (Achukunet and Sweetlemon) while others are fighting for 3rd spot like Valencia, Athletico Madrid etc (Abil, Itsmodella etc)

The question is; who will be the eventual champion?

So, the grand finale is here...

Firstly, I must say Congrats to all the 56 initial contestants. You are all beautiful in your own different ways.

And to our final five; Waoh!! This is truly competitive.

Abil; I know you're beautiful but your pictures here are not competitive enough to earn you the crown. I like your kinda beauty tho.
Itsmodella; When I see your pics, elegance come to my head. You even look like a wife material for real.
Sweetlemon; somehow, I think you should be the winner, you contested well, you appreciate your fellow contestants, your complained when needed and you show a lot of zeal wanting the crown. Thumbs up girl. You're beautiful no matter what they say..

BUT

I place my right thumb for vote on the name called ACHUKWUNET..

Reason; she's the most natural of them all. Beauty (facial) to me is what you look like when you wake up in the morning. I believe you look the best judging from the pictures on here. Congrats.

By the way, If Ogugua won the last edition; are we sure this is not monarchy or even dictatorship? grin grin

And please, what happened to my Livialives?

Oh this thread is back again.
The same thread (in June) that got me called different names from PDP to Mass-rigger to OBJ and so on. A thread I only joined after I received a private mail to check the thread to find it on the 32nd page.
As usual, I will just watch out for the insults again, after-all that's why we love Nairaland.

Religion / Re: $240 And $100 For Blessings By Matthew Ashimolowo by dammytex: 11:30am On Dec 03, 2012
Dee60:

Thank you and God bless you for the honest post. I do continue to have a question: Where in the Word of God have we seen people being asked to give a particular amount?

Remember the warning in Revelation where we are asked not to add to the word of prophecy. We cannot help God. I do not have an answer to this controversy but maybe you can help. I see that the Word enjoins us to give bountifully, but is there a reference to particular amounts?

Well, I believe according to Luke 6:38, talking about giving in GOOD MEASURE, translates into you getting your reward according to the MEASURE of your giving.

Having said this, pastors are meant to be our spiritual guides in salvation, evangelism, spiritual growth, SOWING, etc. Sometimes, the economic conditions can make Christians to hold back on how to give. These pastors help us more by encouraging us to give as much as possible. Its a biblical principle in Luke. These pastors are doing it. My pastor is always the biggest sower in my church every year and we all know. There is big power in giving but it is not compulsory.

What is going on here is people condemning pastors for encouraging people to give so they can receive more. Seed sowing (giving) is a spiritual exercise. I even heard Muslims do it too in form of alms-giving and cooking for the general public called saara or so.

Like I always say, please give if you believe you'd receive and if you think your pastor is a scammer, then save your money and use it for any wise economic expenditure you can comprehend. As for me, I will continue to give till I die. Bill Gates believes the source of his money is in his intellect. Me, I believe the source of my money is from God. So, why wont I give according to how His scriptures instructed me to give or didn't the bible talk about sowing bountifully. Or you think say bountifully na small thing.

Let me even take it further, I was outta the country for a while, before I got back, they had laid the foundation for our new church building. I wasnt too happy I was not around to sow to the building of the church from foundation. Trust me na, as the construction progresses, I wanna sow die. You wanna know why? When I join in building God's house, He builds mine. Its just a personal belief that has been working for me for over 12 years.

Somebody shout Halleluyah and let the harvest begin....that is it, some of us are just cheerful givers no matter what your common sense tells us..
Religion / Re: $240 And $100 For Blessings By Matthew Ashimolowo by dammytex: 12:17pm On Nov 30, 2012
hmmmm Na wa oh

Let me start by saying I worship at KICC here at Maryland, Lagos Nigeria which happens to be the Nigerian HQ of KICC under Pastor Femi.

24hr miracle is a trademark message that Pastor Mathew has preached in over 100 churches worldwide. In fact, I don't think he'd stop anytime soon.

Giving is a matter of personal conviction. No matter what you say here, people will NEVER stop giving and pastors will NEVER stop encouraging people to give. THE TRUTH REMAINS THAT THERE IS POWER IN GIVING. Of course its not for everybody to believe. Nobody even sows better than these pastors if you care to believe.

For those of us that worship at KICC, we have sowed different variants of the 24hr seed. Sometimes its N24,000, 24 USD, 24USD. There is another one he encourages us to sow also; its called "blessing of a thousand times more than our fathers". Sometimes we also sowed for God's blessing taking us into another dimension of breakthrough. It's never an issue of do-or-die. Sow if you believe and if you don't, pls stay back.

I purposely wrote this to let you know that some people don't have problem sowing to these prophesies. If you call us fools, we'll tell you God bless you. For someone like me, I always look for an opportunity to sow into a fertile ground because I always reap more than 100% from sources I don't expect.

Just because Chinese Bhudist millionaires were not seed sowers does not mean i will not partake in what works for me. You just called them Bhudists, trust me they all have spiritual back ups that request one thing or the other from them. If only what I have is God and he requests my giving into his house, why will I relent. And EVERYTIME I give, I always provoke his blessings to be showered on me.

So, before you start to comment to this (calling me a gullible fool), know that I don't care what they do with the money I dropped in church. That's not my biz. My heart of giving any particular value in any particular currency is what goes to heaven. No pastor told me this, Its a matter of personal conviction.

And all the money sowed goes into the account of the host church in case you don't know. Do you even know what Pastor Mattew does to thousands of widows in Osun state every year. Of course, you are not interested in that, criticism sells faster...

He also said at this stage of his life, he didn't need a girlfriend cos he can have sex anytime anywhere. He just said that I should wait till he "buys a bed"

then I think its just a humourous response while trying to take his time.

My question is; are you desperate to bed him?

Romance / Re: Hot Girls Dont Make Good Wives? by dammytex: 3:11pm On Nov 22, 2012
I think its more of easy assumption than reality.

But then, hotter ladies know they will always have more options which can get into their heads. Less pretty girls understand their condition and tend to maximize it by building character.

My HR said he prefers to employ fifteen 2:2 graduates in a team that interfaces with customer and production while employing only one 1st class and probably two 2:1s into research and development
Reason, 2:2 graduates will always want to impress and justify their worth thereby improving productivity together with also sharing ideas. 1st class employees believe the know it all.
