Romance / Re: Beautiful, Caring & Intelligent But Cant Cook - Please Advise by dammytex: 3:12pm On Sep 27, 2012 |
Well, the greater part of the decision depends on you. What exactly can you cope with? As for me; You said she's loving and caring but she lacks domestic responsibilities. If she's not a great cook, I can manage but house chores again; not interested. With the nature of my job, I really need a woman in the house that can administer proper care, cleaning and upbringing for our kids. If she can't clean her own room and house, what will Junior do? Charity begins at home. I want the best for my kids and being independent is inclusive. If my Junior can not learn to take care of the home while growing up, what kind of father and husband will he grow up to be? So, I'm looking at a bigger picture here. But Marriage is also about helping your soul mates. If you truly want the marriage to work, you'd have to HELP her too. Let her know being lazy is NOT an option if she wants you too. If she's truly caring, then she'd want your happiness. So, take advantage of times spent with her to clean your house, do the dishes, do some cooking while listening to music and flirting-along during the process. At least she must be willing to spend time with you if she's TRULY caring ooo. And how come a Nigerian girl cannot cook and take care of the house at the same time? Even if na Dangote be her papa..? 2 Likes |

Aunty Spicy; you promised me a Mel-San oo ehn ehn.. we Sanguines don't forget promises like this but if it were to be a task or assignment now, we can be busy talking about MTV Video music awards with the receptionist at 3:52pm while the deadline is 4:00 pm. But trust me na, there will always be a genuine excuse to talk my way out. In other words, the sanguine in you makes you extra smart. If I come back to this world 10 times, I will choose to be a sanguine 11 times. Can you beat that; you get to achieve a lot while flexing. You have a lot of friends that are always willing to cover up for you even when you are late/absent. Ladies will always be your friend as long as ladies still enjoy those flirty comments about their hair, make-up, dressing and perfumes. Your male friends will always bring party and latest gist to your house because your inputs must always make sense. My parents never flogged me for once, how na? There is always excuse sha ni. Even when they are down-sizing in office, your boss can't even think about you because you will always rescue him with management and customer presentations. And another thing, we always buy things cheap. No be to negotiate, the seller go tire na. If God blesses you and your seller is a female while you being a guy, trust me, she is already selling at 40% discount while smiling and laughing unless she's a sharp sanguine like you. So, if you'd like to borrow our sanguine traits (just like Duke pointed out), our forms are available. we'll discuss privately for the fees and special training. All other temperaments can apply except male cholerics. MALE CHOLERICS, PLEASE DON'T APPLY OO. I no get time for English grammar explanation abeg. Dem wahala too much. You see, you can even make money being a sanguine while training others, I no fit shout abeg. Come and pay for your forms please 2 Likes |

****Waits for the phone to ring about 4 times before picking****** You know what; to start with; you only call twice in which you drop after the 2nd failed attempt. Now, you’re calling for the 5th time. I know you and that’s a sign that you’ve done something wrong. Listen to me, cuddlemii or whatever your name is. I heard everything you said on that phone. I even heard your friend, Ogugua’s voice saying “oh poor boy”. Imagine! Me, poor boy. Na wa o. You call that little change you get from me “spending his money”. Seriously, cuddlemii? I didn’t know you are this cheap. In fact you make me laugh. …..please don’t say anything and let me finish and please don’t call me baby. I AM NOT YOUR BABY…. You told me Coogar was your childhood family friend. I didn’t know you were dating and sleeping with him. Well, may God help you. I don’t think I wanna compete with men below me over you. I actually thought you reason like you look not knowing your good-looks is inversely proportional to your reasoning. COOGAR? Oh my God. I had known since you started rolling with Slimyem, Ileke-idi and Ronke, that things like these would happen. What’s more to expect? Their boyfriends once caught them with Aristos. My only regret now is thinking I could change your miserable life. ……please I’m still talking…. You know what; I don’t want to listen to any lies and excuses about this being a joke and that it isn’t true. I even heard Ogugua saying “eh ya, omolomo, it’s not fair oo cuddlemii” So don’t even bother denying. You have the guts to disgrace and embarrass me in front of your friends? Oh my God… ****drops the call**** ****thinking**** (oh my God, and I truthfully love this girl oo. Could it be a joke? Have I been played all these while? Chai! This is not what I planned at all. Hmmm, but I’ll never let it show that I still love her, so she wont think I’m a 21st century mumu) ***brings out my Ipod listening to “where do broken hearts go” by Whitney**** |

Onegai: OK mami, Why I want a Mel-San? I'd still prefer her to a Mel-chol. Things will be a lot easy with her and I'm not sure I like female competition, I like to just respect and honour her for whom she is. Being a Mel, the most difficult thing about her would have to be mood swings and that I understand. Out-think me; maybe. Out-smart me; even maybe but out-charm me; never (trust your guy naa). My Sanguine no be mumu oooo. BBC Knowledge+Comedy Central=Perfecto. I always love humour while learning things. I remember things learnt while flexing than things learnt being serious. In fact, I hate being serious (weird right? don't worry; I know). Only God knows how I will propose. In school, I used to read my Engineering Maths textbook (Stroud 1 & 2) while strolling up and down the street. Conscience; I guess that's a plus to my advantage. Super organized; thank God. At last, I can find my pairs of socks well arranged somewhere. Are you saying, Mel-sans could also be a Michelle Obama, a good political wife? Yeh pa!!! Willing to pay any amount for a free MEL-SAN in the house please... Waiting... |

I saw the introduction of Naira and Kobo, there was also a 25k coin, that was called Dollar, (USD was apparently equivalent of 25K in 1970s)it was not well accepted though so it faded out very soon. spicy v: @ Duke what can I say? Thanks a lot bro. You sure have been doing a tremendous job here. ooooooooooooooo This Choleric people, their shakara too much abeg. Maybe because we are both extrovertish in nature, we hardly get along. In office, the cholerics in my team would always want my inputs submitted exactly the way (format) they want it plus the time they want it. Trust me naa, I'd always look for the easiest and the less stressful way of approaching quality solutions and most times, it won't be in their (cholerics) way. (who cares; as long as the solution output is accurate). Other guys always prefer me around when the tension is high especially when we are working extra hours to meet deadlines. I try to make them relax and create fun out of the job while we execute. The cholerics always find this disgusting as they like to show off their strength (without team-work) the most, in times of pressure. In life, I take a lot of things calm and easy. Truthfully, I can be lazy about many things too though. I sleep late, always catching one fun or the other on phone, TV or internet. Of course, often lazy to wake up early. I sleep a lot on weekends too if allowed, but my house is always the meeting point of my friends every weekend. so most times, we are either yabbing one another or hanging out in public/event places. Please, just give me a Mel-san abeg. I don't like wahala at all. In fact, I've completed one and a half score and I've never fought anybody before in my life if you care to believe. She will be receptive to my jokes and she can always kick-start humour on my behalf, should I switch to phleg mode. As for her mood swings, God dey. So, have I spoken well? |

Duke_Nija: Cholerics ke? nooo I can't stand people who won't accept and appreciate my jokes. I don't like people with tendencies to create fight and arguments around them. I don't like people with bossy nature, they make me feel bad and quiet. In as much as I like results, I don't like being pushed like a slave to achieve the success. So, how do I cope with a choleric then? I'm a guy remember.. |

Romance / Re: 7 Types Of Men Every Women Should Date by dammytex: 4:08pm On Sep 06, 2012 |
@OP Good Points, no doubt. If any lady has this kind of man, you must do thanksgiving in church daily till you re 80 years old. But then, ladies still won't date this kind of men. Reasons: they say things like; they are boring, they don't wear designers, they don't drive cute cars, they don't know romantic and exotic places to take girls to,they are not funny and they don't have swags. And I'm not sure they also have the best of looks. So, girls would still go for guys with other qualities asides the ones mentioned here although they'd wish they can convert them to having these qualities. I don't know why; you ask them.. |

Romance / Re: A Kim Kardashian Or A Michelle Obama? by dammytex: 3:20pm On Sep 06, 2012 |
@OP I wonder why you'd ask these kinds of questions. Okay, try to respond to these questions and you have your answer; Who would you like to raise your daughter if you were not around, KK or MO? If your son brings his fiancee home, and she happens to be KK of MO; (in fact you know the rest) Would you prefer to be; the mother of Kim or the mother of Michelle? In your husband's business , who would you prefer to be his deputy? MO or KK? Now you have our answer to your question. Michelle Obama is synonymous with wife, success and intelligence. Kim Kardashian is synonymous with sex, sex and sex. 3 Likes |
Career / Re: How Your Temperament Affects Your Career Choice And General Performance. by dammytex: 12:34pm On Sep 06, 2012 |
I have read some things about temperaments before, but your description here kinda seems to be more precise. I think I'm about 72% sanguine + 20% phlegmatic + 6% melancholic + 2% choleric. In conclusion, I think I'm just a San-phleg. But then, I think one should only have a combination of being extrovert and introvert eg San-pleg, San-mel, Chol-phleg, Chol-mel and viceversa instead of Mel-phleg (two introverts) or Phleg-mel (two intoverts) or Chol-san (two extroverts). These are combinations of two introvert/extrovert features and should not combine for the total description of a person. My thoughts... |

Romance / Re: Who's Dat Nairaland DAMSEL U Hear Her Name N U Tink Wil B A Pretty, Hot Chick? by dammytex: 4:40pm On Aug 06, 2012 |
The topic is a little somehow. At some points, we've been opportuned to see the pictures of different NLers before removing them. So how come I would still think they're pretty when I know what they look like? Well for me, I've always had the opinion that active ladies on online social networking forums (like NL), are usually not very pretty with the exception of a few. It is very easy for pretty ladies get tied up a lot with chats, pings, work, dates, phone calls etc and thereby have little or no time for forums like NL. But if you ask me which female posters I admire their comments, I would say cuddlemii and kitty kat. But like I said earlier, its just an opinion and I stand to be corrected. |

Romance / Re: The Disadvantages Of Being Good-Looking by dammytex: 12:58pm On Aug 06, 2012 |
Well, to me the advantages are more when you look good than the disadvantages. If you are well mannered enough, you'll enjoy a lot of benefits from your good looks. And if you happen to be funny again, may God help you. But a few disadvantages would be; People instantly thinking you'd be a player. They almost won't expect you to be brilliant, intelligent or smart. A good number of ladies wouldn't like to date you because of avoidance of continual competition. I wonder why it's very convenient for people to easily liken fine boys to gays. If you fail at anything, then the say; "his good-looks is getting into his head". If I have the chance, I'd always come back into this world looking better every time. The smiles you get all the time are just wonderful (**winks***) |
Romance / Re: When you look at a woman/man, what is the first thing you notice? by dammytex: 10:26pm On Aug 03, 2012 |
It depends on the angle of view; If I sight her from behind and the figure looks good, I'd always want, hope and wish the face matches the greatness from behind. If I sight her facing her, then it must be the face first, then the eyes, then the hips and of course bobbynaa. And even if she doesn't look much pretty, I'd still check if the body can still make up for the lack of beauty. |
