if wifey; of course I'd love to help anytime any-day if she promises not to be intimidated cos I cook good. in fact, if I'm around, we'd be in kitchen together. (I like to hold/support from behind while she cooks) If gf, I think I can give her some space to do her thing. But if she romantically insists, I'll do a nice dish for her. |

some conclusions so far; Guys are more confident in putting their pics up than the ladies Ratio of good-looking guys to good looking-ladies now stand at 50:50 70% of good-looking NL guys are fair in complexion Some fool thinks his unrepentant uploading of pics would get him some free shaggging here (shioor) Nairalanders actually appreciate beauty (thumbs up) 100% of those claiming Aunty Fickle is jobless for putting this thread up, have actually clicked on all the picture links. (Thiefs) We are all interested in knowing what other posters on this forum look like Almost all Non-Nigerians on this forum are beautiful females Some adamant Nairalanders will never put their pics up no matter what, yet, they will check every poster's profile and click on every pasted link. -------will update later. |

Romance / Re: What's The Big Deal In A Girl Asking A Boy Out? by dammytex: 5:27pm On Sep 01, 2011 |
Do we still ask ourselves out these days. We meet, we're friends, we jell, we share secrets, we advise, we visit each other and hang out more often, we run errands for each other, we make unbelievable commitments to each other, we kiss (wondering why it happened), and then we kiss again another day, we call each other's siblings without our prior knowledge, we go to see a movie and on the way back, he says I think I'm falling in love with you, and she answers: really, and he nods, we held each other's hands and kissed again, I changed her name on my phone to Angel, she does the same, I call her and she answers; hello love and I say I just called to say i love you baby. fast forward; do you take this man/woman to be your lovely wedded----------------I DO |

@op even as I read your post, I could feel you have something for this guy. Maybe not strong enough to date him but I know for sure there's something you like about him. Unfortunately, he knows it and he's capitalizing on it to get a chance with you. The truth is; when you are truly ready to get rid of him, you'd know what to do. |

Nice posts so far. I was in JSS2, my class captain (Jennifer) was very pretty and sexy. My school was a military boarding house. On a Saturday, I came to class with my best friend then, and stupidly wrote I love Jennifer underneath her desk. The following Monday, she discovered and reported to our class teacher. He asked all guys to confess to the writing. It became a very big issue. I begged my friend not to confess. We (all boys in my class) were to be flogged 12 strokes each, everyday until the perpetrator confessed. This continued until the 2nd week. Eventually, my bestie broke and told the class teacher it was me in front of all the girls in class, halfway into his strokes while crying. I was flogged 24 in front of all the girls and cried, not because of the strokes, but the shame (a fine boy like me). Back in the hostel, my house prefect called all the blue house boys to the quadrangle and told me to confess my sin in front of everybody. I was given a cardboard (with the bold inscription: I love Jennifer) to hold while I dance and respond to the song being sung after me in humiliation. The song goes thus: Everybody sings: do you love Jennifer? I reply: Yes sir Unforgettable '94 |
Romance / Re: True Love Doesn't Exist. by dammytex: 12:26am On Aug 31, 2011 |
@op True love exists. The question is; are you ready for the commitments? Exercising true love is an ambition that migrates into habit. You have to yearn for true love and go wholeheartedly for it without compromise. The benefits are the best, but trust me it isn't usually easy and comfortable for us men to stick to the strict rules at the early stages. You have to be determined to exhibit true love all the way. If you can, even God will smile down on you from heaven. Don't you want that? |

Romance / Re: Guys How Long Does It Take You To Ask A Girl Out? by dammytex: 10:09pm On Aug 30, 2011 |
Uhmmm, I think it depends on what you want from the girl. So, I'll assume you are referring to a serious relationship. Well, this is 21st century, so procedures don't follow the medieval pattern anymore. It starts with friendship of course. I can only take it further with a girl that's my friend. In friendship, I know a lot already about her. We discuss about our problems, future plans, career etc. While being friends, I can have good insight about her background and expectations. I fairness, I can tell if we can take it a step further towards relationship or not. I can never marry a stranger. In fact friendship is a true test of genuine interest. I can only marry my female friend. To answer your question, I think it might take months. Time is also a good test of affection. |
