Here are some more pictures of her when she was a lot much younger:
|
This is not a fair comparison. Michelle Obama is much younger than Ann Romney. Ann Romney is in her 60s and she is a cancer survivor suffering from multiple sclerosis. She is a beautiful woman for her age. Below are some of her pictures when she was younger:
|
Clairette: It has to be Dame Patience Jonathan anytime. That woman has got strength, vision, foresight etc. She's highly innovative and does not slack in pursuing her mission n fulfilling her set goals. Just like my Mum, Dame Patience is a very good example of the woman in Proverbs 31:10-30Were you paid to say this? This is a serious question? |
I do not believe in state police because Nigeria is not mature enough for it. State police will be tantamount to having 36 armed militias in the country. Governors will abuse it. Imagine Gbenga Daniels, Alams, Igbinedion, Alao Akala, or Adedibu with armed militias. Remember that many governors appoint ministers from a list given to them by their political Godfathers. Governors can easily start buying heavy ammunitions all in the name of improving security and Nigeria could degenerate into a failed state with many warlords. We need to avoid state police because we are not ready for it. |
I get the sense that this woman does not make an equal contribution to the joint bank account. The way she said "our" shows that it is the man's money that she just happens to have access to by virtue of being his wife. |
kunlekunle: time for a new party in the westAre you saying that the Southwest should return to "visionary" leadership of Alao-Akala, Gbenga Daniels, and Ayo Fayose? |
Hmmm I had a similar agreement in the US when I started my first job. They paid me a $6,000 sign in bonus. The agreement was that if I left before 1 year, I would have had to refund the sign in bonus. The gray area here is that bonuses are taxed at 44% so the actual amount I received was $3,360. As a result, I didn’t know if I would owe $6,000 or $3,360. At any rate, I stayed at the job for longer than a year and I didn’t have to deal with that. I think that this agreement should be amended to only entail resigning. If you tell an employer that you are going to stay for 2 years and you don’t then there should pay a penalty. However, the agreement at its current state is indentured servitude. Getting a job should not mean that you sign yourself into bankruptcy. What if the economy tanks and you get laid off, should you still owe 2 million naira? Haba. |
Roland17: IT means, "you looked for trouble there yourself"Thanks! |
Roland17: Akeredolu just told Mimiko off mic "Iwo lo wa wahala fun rare"Translation please ![]() |
Roland17: OOOO my God!!!! how on earth did Akeredolu become a SAN with such cancerous sentence construction and speaking skills? Naija i hail thee oooIt was the same way I felt when I heard Olisa Agbakoba during the fuel subsidy debate between the government and civil society. Sanusi, NOI, and Alison Madueke completely destroyed civil society. When Agbakoba made the opening statement for civil society, I said to myself "why didnt these people choose a lawyer to speak for them." Only for me to google him and find out that he is not only a lawyer but also a SAN. For some reason not all lawyers are articulate. |
As a politician you should not say everything that is on your mind. Bakare should not have made his prediction even if that is what he was thinking. The ACN and the CPC are trying to merge. I am sure that to ACN this was a WTF moment. If I was an ACN member, I would have said "with friends like Bakare, who needs enemies." I still respect Bakare for being an upright man but this time he got it wrong. |
Yoruba because they are the most enlightened and the most tolerant Nigerians. |
I cured my acne/pimples by using acutane. I used the tablet for 6 months and since then I have not had problems with acne. I tried many creams before acutane but all they do is help you manage the acne. If you don’t use the cream for 2 days, the acne returns. They want you to buy their product until you die. Acutane is the closest thing to a cure for acne. 6 months and you are done. |
You guys shouldn't worry much. ACN is just consolidating its power base in states like Ogun and Oyo. Performance/popularity is good but may not be enough to win elections against a machinery like PDP. Examples of this assertion abound; Buhari's performance against Jonathan in the last general election even in northern states,Gani Fawehinmi against Obj, Pat Utomi etc. If you put up an El-rufai (a known performer) against Bala Muhammed in FCT, I can assure you Bala most likely will win. That is the reality of current Nigeria. So we can't even begin to compare ACN-SW to PDP-SW yet. Another thing is when change happen, people forget easily how bad things were in the past. For example, when last did you hear news about Ibadan NURTW crises or the show of shame that was the order of the day between Gbenga Daniel and the Ogun state assembly? Things like these are taken for granted until they become a BH-like situation.
What are you smoking? Buhari won all the Core Northern States. He won Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Jigawa, Kastina, Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, and Niger. The only states he didnt win in the North were states where the Hausa speaking population was less than 50%. Mind you Buhari had a shoe string campaign budget. He won all these states despite the billions of naira that Jonathan spent campaigning there. |
Mitt Romney won the debate. It wasn't even close. |
GenBuhari can you please create a new nairaland account that you can use whenever you want to post something supporting Abacha? Everytime you make a pro-Abacha post with your GenBuhari userID, you "DISCREDIT" Buhari. You are making it harder for Buhari supporters like me to promote Buhari to other nairalanders. The PDP has already launched a character assasination campaign against Buhari that has made most Southerners and Middlebelters to see him as an Islamic extremist; your posts only compound the negative perceptions that Southerners and Middlebelters have of Buhari. |
You cannot put eggs back into their shells after you have used them to make an omelet. Lagos is a melting pot. Shikena |
Buhari should pray for Atiku to be the PDP nominee. If Nigerians are forced to choose between Atiku and Buhari, Buhari will win . |
Freiburger: 10likesThanks ![]() |

Oga ps 5 it would help is you used paragraphs. |
OYINBOGOJU: Ojukwu was a coward.A lot of people who call Ojukwu a coward are not looking at the full picture. If Ojukwu became a martyr, the Igbos would have never integrated into the country. General Effiong would have surrendered but the fight would have continue but this time the blockade would have been lifted and many Igbo armed militants would have been free to travel to the rest of Nigeria to kill innocent civilians in the name of Ojukwu. Ojukwu would have become a God, and many innocent civilians would have died because the Igbos would have avenged his death. Ojukwu fighting for the Igbo cause until death would have created a generation of Igbos who would have been so militant and anti-Nigerian that it would have been impossible for Nigeria to exist as it does today. My friend thank God that Ojukwu left. He saved Nigeria many more year of fighting and many lives that would have been lost. |
Oga Kalu we have seen this movie before. Some politicians do not have sense. Don’t they understand that if they insist on "Igbo President" that will make the rest of the country suspicious. They should say these things behind closed doors; then they should pick an acceptable Igbo candidate that is acceptable to the entire country. After that, the Igbo candidate should start campaigning across the country and Ndigbo should endorse him gradually. You don’t want a candidate who is seen as "The Igbo Candidate," you want a candidate who is the best candidate who happens to be Igbo. Kalu needs to realize that if what he is proposing happens, the result would be similar to the 1979 election. If he has forgotten below is the result for everyone to see.

semid4lyfe: Another money miss road and dead on arrival project.Although I wish I didnt agree with you, I agree with every single thing that you just said. |
fagamite: Another person on the prowl!Must you resort to name calling? |
OMG!!!!! this thread got very very heated. For some reason this was my first time of seeing Desola in full display. This woman is an iron lady. I couldnt help but marvel at her wit. She took out a 2 by 4 and kept hitting it on Gbawe's head nonstop. However, I applaud Gbawe for standing his ground as expected. Desola at the end of the day, in politics, you have to choose between the lesser of two evils. Do Tinubu and ACN have short commings? Yes they do. But they have proven themselves to be better than PDP. If we keep focusing on ACN's shortcommings, we risk undermining the party and giving PDP an opening to return back to power to continue the evil that ACN rescued us from. I am sure that citizens of Edo and Oyo states would hate to return to the days of Lucky Igbinedion and Alao Akala. Tinubu was a governor that increased Lagos state's IGR by 3000% and made the state less reliant on the federal government. He was the one who gave us Fashola and Oshiomhole. In addition, he has shown political saviness by trying to make ACN a national party through mergers with CPC, ANPP, etc. Tinubu is not perfect and, like most people, I am suspicious of his moral compass. However, he is still the most progressive party leader in the country. I will pick Tinubu over Anthony Anenih, Andy Uba, Emeka Orfo, or Adedibu anyday. Desola, I know that you are nonpartisan, but Im sure that you will still admit that despite all of its shortcomming, ACN is still a better party than PDP. |
There is nothing wrong with Governor Oshiomhole drinking with friends. He is a grown man, an adult. Folks need to leave the man alone. |
