PoliticsRe: Wednesday: Obj Sends Atiku Out Of Fec Meeting: by Danmasani(m): 12:56pm On Sep 08, 2006
Its all part of the power play. Obasanjo, a devil trying to outsmart another devil (Atiku) and clip his wings. The last time i checked, hundreds of top political figures in Government have embezzeled millions and yet walk free, parading themselves as pacesetters and visionary leaders. It is called selective Justice people. Tony Anenih walks free, what happened to the 300billion Naira he squandered during his ministerial tenure?
Obsanjo at moment is heating the polity, my prayer is that my family, friends and all normal average Nigerians stay safe in the midst of the political turmoil about to happen!

EFFC should leave the yahoo boys because the white men are coming to nigeria to take our money awy let the boys bring them back to naiga
Thats the kind of thinking that brings Nigeria to shame and disrepute worldwide. Bros, u be yahoo boy?
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think Of Malam Nuhu Ribadu? by Danmasani(m): 2:39pm On Aug 25, 2006
Big B, why should i be arrested? Did i rob you of your dollar or naira? did i steal money meant for your Uncle pension? Did i confiscate your ancental land? I have nothing to answer to any agency in Nigeria cos i am 100% clean. Are u? Like i said, anyone with absolutely no skeleton in his cupboard has nothing to be scared of. Ever heard of Umar Dangiwa? do u hear him scream that EFFC is after him. How about Gani, Buhari, Soyinka? They are clean. They have no billions to hide.

So hide in shame if you have soiled ur hands for I pray the EFFC to have a day with you. I'm eyeballed anyhow by others when i say I'm Nigerian cos of the fraud and corruption associated with it. I need Ribadu badly to help me reduce that stigma. Yahoo boys and 419ners abound even here in Nairaland. I pray the catch you. I forward all those emails to EFFC, hope they grab u, assholes
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think Of Malam Nuhu Ribadu? by Danmasani(m): 1:26pm On Aug 25, 2006
@ BigB, how did Ribadu engage himself in Politics? By arresting Mohammed Babangida or by saying names of those with Nigeria's treasury in their accounts will be published. My friend, Nigeria needs to start from somewhere and if people like you make senseless accusations like this, then we'll never reach anywhere in this fight. Corruption bites deeply into the Nigerian fabric. One needs to open his mind to appreciate the efforts of the EFFC. Nigerians know those who have and are stealing their livelihood, yet have no means to persecute such till the EFFC came. Tafa Balogun claimed he was witch-hunted yet stole billions of naira. I bet you that Balogun's friends and relatives will still deny that the guy never commited a crime, afterall they benefited from the largesse. See thats Nigeria, we all want a change but refuse to accept the truth.
Go on EFFC, arrest and persecute all the bastards that think they can get away with corruption. I don't care who is arrested, if u have nothing to hide, u won't scream and lose sleep!
Plateau legislators have been arrested. I say more grace to the EFFC. If our so called "representatives' cannot put common sense and impeach a criminal Governor who can't pay salaries nor run a state good, then they deserve to be booted out. We have been taken on a ride, its high time it stops!

Persecute theses bastards!

TravelRe: Driving From Abuja To Jos by Danmasani(m): 10:46pm On Aug 10, 2006
The chappy going to Jos, Hill station is the best hotel available for you in Jos. others like Plaeau Hotel, Jerrotel are ok too, i cant direct you to more cos the rest are shitty. For chilling, u could do Kura Falls, Assop Falls, Rayfield resort ( In Jos!), Jos Museum and zoo is great too, Naraguta is great for rock climbing. Jos wildlife park has scenery of a safari and it's quite nice Nigerian standards. Pandam game reserves is also nice and i think the Solomon Lar amusement park is finally open incase u've got kids. Shere Hills is another spot for rock climbing. See Jos and Plateau in general has lots of places to go, Just get a car, a good updated map ( or a good guide) and u'll be good. And it wont cost you much!

All these things that is happening in Nigeria is because of the Northern Nigerian. Have you guys forget that this so called north rule Nigeria for more than 35 years and destroyed everything in the country without no investments. The British gave the power to the north so that the people in Nigeria would live in abject poverty without no constant electricity, water or even boast of good rods. For as long the southern part of Nigeria would continue to be with the north, we will continue to be useless and backward. All these things that is going on especially the southern part of Nigeria is because of the North. First of all i do not have anything in common with the North and i still wonder why the British joined me with this idiots and Baffoons. They North do not want anything to be good in the country because they are illitrate. If they are elected the president of Nigeria in 2007 there will be alot of problem in the country. Abacha that was from the North stole more that 2.4 billion of dollars from the Niger Delta. I hope the Niger Deltan would deal those idiots.

Some fool has arrived the forum.
Love44, tell me something please and back it up with concrete evidence? How has the North contributed to Okonjo-Iweala tribulations? How has Abacha, Babangida, Buhari, Atiku or any other Northerner influence the decision to ridicule her like this? I await your explanation!
PoliticsRe: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by Danmasani(m): 4:18am On Jul 28, 2006
Mariory:
You're all assuming his death was politically motivated. Strangulation is a crime of passion. This suggests to me his killer was someone he knew personally rather than hired assasins that is common with political hits.
Thats some very funny argument. You however have no point there.

tianshie:
methinks the poor guy had "odeishi",so when the bullets and knives couldn't penetrate, they decided to try strangulation.Remember how Aguiyi Ironsi was killed.
Let's just say Funso's Babalawo lacked foresight.

PoliticsRe: Oil In Nigeria Belongs To The North by Danmasani(m): 12:54pm On Jun 30, 2006
I can't believe how some people here come down low and exhibit their intolerances here. Mrlawng here fits a perfect description of stupidity. Unprovoked, he attacks Islam , Northern Nigeria and people of good conscience in the name of debate. I am a northerner and do not understand what the image of amputated hands has got to do with me. Sunny Okogwu says "oil belongs to the north" and people like Afeni and Mrlawng run their mouths accusing the north of complicity. SUNNY OKOGWU IS NOT A NORTHERNER NOR DOES HE SPEAK FOR HER!.
Bringing sharia, illiteracy, poverty and other vices common to ALL PARTS OF NIGERIA is foolish. Implying that misfits are found only the north further confirms how u Mrlawng is an idiot. If you further infuriate me, i will engage squarely for every nonsense you type here.
Because the north is educationally-disadvantage doesn't mean he cannot stand for ourselves. Some "Lagos" boy shouldn't think he is better than us!

Afeni:
Anyone with half a brain would know that oil deposits are in isolated pockets. They don't flow anywhere.

But if this man, and other Northerners think they are the ones with the oil, thats fine. Tell them to take their oil and Sharia and leave.
Afeni, u simply are a clear illustration of stark stupidity. The article clearly identified Sonny Odogwu as a south-south man, yet you include "and other Northerners" in your thread so that you can show us how foolsih you are.
If after all the criticism and harsh rejections of your post from other users has still not put some wisdom in your head, i wonder what will.

U are kidding me, where did u hear that from? wow, u are the first person im hearing that from. He has done NOTHING to dat state, only spoil it. He met the state peacefull, he has now turned it to a slaughter house. No more peace, tourism is shading away. PoliticsPDP Split: Your Views! by Danmasani(op): 2:45pm On Jun 12, 2006
The People's Democratic Party or the People destroying People party of Nigeria ( according to Dare Babarinsa) is split with two factions claiming to be at the helm of affairs.

One controlled by the Obasanjo power base and his foot soldiers namely; Bode George, Ojo Madueke, Tony Anenih and Ahmadu Ali and the other faction controlled by Solomon Lar, Shuaib Oyedokun among others with support from AD and other prominent Nigerians.

The question is: Which factions do you think is right and deserves to fly the flag of the PDP? The one infested with Obsanjo's shenanigans who tried to impose the Third Term on Nigerians or the one opposed to him who are trying to cling to power at all cost?

There again goes Afeni, panning the North because he has found nowhere else to place the problems of Nigeria. Afeni, u sit in america and shout about sharia, what do you know about it? You watch exaggerated report from the western media and make your Judgment. Well, i am a northern christian and i can tell you that Sharia hasnt affected no one who has no ties to it. It is even a joke if you do not know. Beer is sold on zamfara for God sake!

PoliticsRe: Only A Military Man Should Be President, Says General by Danmasani(m): 9:43pm On Jun 03, 2006
That statement further confirms the observation of Reuben Abati and Nigerians about the calibre of people in the Nigerian senate--ill-minded, savvy-deficient rascals parading as politicians. Thats a dumb statement to make, one not to deserve a drop of respect nor find dignity in any quarter. People like this aren't suppose to be in our legislative parlance, they deserve somewhere else like a desert or forest so they can shout all the nonsense the mouth can utter.
The military isn't done with Nigeria yet, the want to see it in her knees first, may God help us!

PoliticsRe: Donald Duke For 2007 Presidency? by Danmasani(m): 6:39pm On May 29, 2006
Donald Duke may be what Nigeria needs at the moment. A young savvy and responsible politician who knows is wits. He has been a transformer, having change the face of calabar. He is not known to join other governors at periods of sabotaginf democracy ( eg Third Term). A Presidency or at least a VP post for the man will really mean well for the young people of Nigeria.

Ill go for a Atiku/ Donald Duke ticket or a Atiku/Nnamani ticket. i wish i could have Emeka Anyaoku as President but the turbulence in Naija politics wont allow him. Not that Atiku is a saint (he is far from it), but ill rather take him than IBB, Buhari or Marwa. Kalu, Yerima and Odili are out of the equation!
