Seems u are a witness or u don't know those guys. People that will be taken to hospital emergency ward with broken bones and blood gushing out and still refuse blood transfusion. Why go to the hospital? They should take them to their kingdom hall for treatment

So trained nurses can’t be religious?

Tell me more. Should I stop going to church then? 🙄

Nothing in his posts suggests that an imminent blood transfusion could have saved his wife and he refused. Everything that led to her death was due to mismanagement of the woman’s case by the hospital staff.

Does he deserve it simply because he’s a religious person? When his religious beliefs did not interfere at any point?

Tell me at what point his beliefs stopped them from doing what they should have done to save her.

I’m going to need some of you to remove your bias goggles and look at what actually happened instead of assuming what you think could have happened based on his beliefs. If this hospital is so awesome, why weren’t they adequately monitoring this patient?
This generation is gone, it's a wasted generation that lacks empathy!! This guy's wakes up everyday with a very biased mind, so warped that nothing good goes in, nothing good comes out!
I have ask a question and am yet to get an answer..How does this event shows that the woman died because she refused blood transfusion? Did you read anywhere to show that oh they offered blood transfusion and we refused!! I used Jolad at Bariga in 2015 for my wife CS and in 2023 for another CS..The decline was glaring! I am not a medic, but am educated and I know Wassup!
Look at all the LIST of equipment that the man COUNTED that was not available, including an ordinary ambulance, and a competent doc on duty even tho he's aware his patient is around, yet the prob according to some idiot is his religious orientation..May this evil you promote visit you one day!!We are all in Nig, and you know what, it's sooner or later...

Do you understand how irrational they can be when faced with options like this?
I know for sure that C-S is very normal and common among JW...What other options are you talking about? Don't you see a lack of care from Jolad in that explanation or are you just unfortunate? Obviously, they are dealing with someone's who's in the medical field, hence, reason for this outburst! Brainbox0806:
I've been a member of this forum for some years now, I started from reading for fun then fell in love with the hustle.... so I ventured into the business 3 years ago, all strategies that kick-started the business were derived from here. I hate to fail, hence I always do my DD very well before embarking on any business so I abandoned my personal car at home then bought a big daddy to test the waters, I registered on Uber/Bolt platforms and drove for like 6 months in my free time.

Having gathered enough experience I supposed, I bought four cars (very sound Local used) to start the business, things were going normal then i bought additional 4 to complement my quest for financial freedom via e-hailing. Within the space of seven months I already bought 15 cars all from my savings literally because I couldn't account for where the previous gains were going per se but I was hoping for better days but my hopes kept dashing away.

My goal was to use the cars for a year period then resell all of them before they start falling apart, for example buy a car for 3m, make 1.2m profit in a year, use 200k for revamping, then sell back for 3m

To shorten the story, I was really overwhelmed by the severe headache in the business, ranging from bad drivers, unfaithful mechanic, traffic law enforcement, police and so on. I became a frequent visitor to the police stations and lastma, this was taken toll on my mental & general health, I'm this easy going person but the business changed my personality to a trouble maker kind of, you know that agbero lifestyle, wether someone is looking for my trouble or not I was always on the edge to spill fire, always feeling so edgy, wether they (drivers) are communicating with me in a cool or harsh manners,my words are always fire and full of anger. I became so paranoid, so bitter because those devourers just don't wish me well.

NB: I handled this business all alone, visitation to the guarantors, verification, inspections are all done by me alone, I believe that was the reason I was having a constant breakdown. Then my mechanic started selling my own vehicles parts to me, like removing my coils (even if I put marks on them to differentiate mine) and whenever I'm not on ground selling same coils to my driver's, sabotaging the cars to constantly extort me and the drivers.

I feel worried whenever I see calls from the drivers because they never called for any good reasons, either to have me send money to them for repairs that occurred through sabotaging far away from my location intentionally or to visit the lastma/ police that seized the car. most of the repairs they call for are fakes and it's just to extort me so they can use same foe weekly remittance.

Two cars were totalled while in operation, both are due to drunk drivers. I got a call from a drunk driver around past 12am, he could hardly express himself well on the phone, he mumbled : trailer hit me, i left the car on the road, I shouted Jesus my heart skipped so fast. I asked him to get the car off the road at least, he said he can't because he was afraid of vandalizer not to attack him, then he said: my mummy will buy you another car.. mogbe.. I couldn't sleep well all through the night. By 5am I rushed to the accident scene, car has been removed off the road by the police to the station causing multiple accidents because the drunkard didn't put a c caution or at least put on the hazard lights. I was detained at the police station because two of the cars involved are luxurious ones, drunk driver had bolted and a visit to his house and that of his guarantors wasn't fruitful. It was a messy one for me.

My method of operation: you are to pay 50k for caution fee before giving you the car then subsequent 30k weekly for rental fee, 50/50 repair fee between drivers and owner, any damage incurred by the driver will be fixed by him. Unfortunately some of the damages incurred by my drivers saw to the end of some of the cars, like engine damage caused by driving in the flood, damaged gear box because the driver didn't bother to gauge the oil or due to oil leakage etc.

Only four of the drivers were so responsible, you don't need to call them before payment, the rest you will have to call, threatening them continually before they pay, it was so draining.. One morning, I woke up with irregular heart beat and I said to my self, enough is enough. I accepted that I've failed and I decided to move on, I decided to sell the remaining 13 cars of which almost all of them were in a bad condition due to a constant use or badly used even though we service them monthly. Having decided that I was going to stop the business, I started using the remittance received from the business to repair two cars at a time then sell off, I continued that way until I sold 11, remaining two with a damaged engine parked in my compound. By this way, I incurred little or no loss capital wise but imagine what I would have gained if I had invested the money in bonds or treasury bills.

Insurance (compherensive) was very helpful but they were also overwhelmed by the constant accidents reports and one (mutual benefits) decided not to partner with me any further while other increase their fee.

I won't advise anyone against this business but make sure you are ready physically, mentally before embarking on it. Set out your rules. One of the challenges I faced was to get a car ready n fit for another driver after a failed partnership with a bad driver who would have damaged the car very badly and his caution fee can't afford the repair.

If I have to do this again in year 2024(rental), these are the things to consider:

1. Insure the car ( compherensive)
2. 150k/200kk for caution fee
When caution fee is exhausted, retrieve your car
3. 50k for weekly fee
4. Only have small numbers of fleet you can manage, because you will be vulnerable and easily overwhelmed, one car, one headache
5 don't depend or expect much responsibility from the guarantors, most of them are poor.
6. Select your drivers carefully, some of them are drug addicts, gamblers and womaniser. I've had to retrieve a car from a hotel where the driver lodge with an olosho but refused to pay rent for three weeks.
7. Inspect your car weekly or bi weekly
8. Avoid familiarity with your mechanic, be ready to change him at any time and avoid him buying parts for you to prevent sabotaging, buy your own parts your self.
9. Install tracker to enforce shutdown of the car
10 avoid amateurs/novice drivers, some of them only know how to move the car forward, they don't listen to the car functionality or know the warning signs on the dashboard. A driver knocked my engine because he doesn't know the oil spillage logo on the dashboard

I wish you all the very best
You have said it all..There is NO INVESTOR that has not experience most or all of this.....anyone that is telling you otherwise is not saying the truth...This is somebody that PUT ALL HIS BODY. No be 9-5 ooo....
Drivers are the most unfortunate people you can partner with, except very very few! Even on his thread, am not sure there are up to 5 of them that has successfully finished their HP but they are here dishing advice...even a brand new car dey break down regularly for their hand!!!
I notice a pattern, once they deliver for like a month, then the story go just start, from no where...It was so bad that I had to make an arrangement for daily pay! Yes, you pay daily! I just dedicated one of my old acct number for that purpose..Now am trying something new entirely and it looks promising and it's still on ehailing .it's about 5 month or so, waiting to hit 6 month then maybe share a review...We just try to use what we have to get what we want..

Take care that you don’t ruin relationships over political differences. Humans naturally don’t necessarily converge on a single source of truth but holds several shades of opinion on the same fact from varying perspectives.
Thus, comes the test of your tolerance , compassion, love and understanding. The world is divergently beautiful and still often divides opinion in the eyes of the beholder....
Quite unfortunate to see all of you try to mob a man for his CHOICE, what he believes in, his opinion, in a DEMOCRACY!
Those of us who were alive and also witness the frenzy that brought buhari in 2015 will be very careful of another messiah in 2023, once beaten twice shy they say...
Whether you support candidate A over B or vice versa, pls let us take our F in peace...As the breeze dey blow, he go touch everybody..

The day you guys propagated on this thread that DRIVERS are supposed to earn more than OWNERS is d day that you gave drivers the freedom to do and undo...Just myself and maybe one or two owners here disagree.. Unfortunately, some partners also supported that nonsense...Corolla was just about 2 million then and a partner will drop that then earn lesser than someone they claim he's bringing his sweat!
Now Corolla don enter 7 million, even badly used naija one sef na 3M upward. Funny thing is those that supported that shit are now complaining...I will only advise that you diversify as quickly as possible...I have just one car on d platform, and to be honest it's not really worth it...Is there profit, yes if you're in it 100%, but I love making comparison and I think profit is relative, I won't be chasing driver, rasing my voice, visiting police station, begging madam to talk to her lastma boys for me because someone wants to deliver 160k in a month; that is if d money complete o...Relatively, the input is deeper, d wahala plenty no be here unless perhaps you're just cut out for it..

Anybody renting out his car at the moment, will go bankrupt, there is no 2 ways about it.

I am well experience in this business.

I only release some of my cars to couple of drivers on certain conditions. The ones I know and they live within my area. You can only drive 3days in a week. Thursday,Friday, Saturday or Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Sharing formula, I take all 2days earning, (and there is a minimum you will earn) and you take 1day. Once you close work you park my car and it will rest for another 4days.

Close monitoring, no room for nonsense.

When you face tough economy, you take tough decisions.
Wow hearing this 'condition' for the first time .Tough time, hard decision!!! Hmmn I don't even know what to say...
I agreed totally with the guy that said this biz is either you put your full body or you're out!!!No side Hussle at all unless you're driving it yourself..I agree completely with that assertion...All the guys in my circle that bought Corolla then to give out to a driver as side Hussle got their fingers burnt...Mostly 9-5 guys that heard that ehailing is profitable and they quickly got a car, gave it out as rental thinking that an extra 100k-120k to ease the burden on their salary will go a long way, I believe they all regretted it!!They all have similar stories, OLORIBURUKU ni awon driver yen....Drivers generally are very very callous, you need to be ruthless to make any profit in this biz...Another similar biz na Poultry, Kai I was dealt with in that aspect no be small, na crime make person no get time ni...lol

Cheating in a marriage is a deal breaker for many...Alot of factors can and should influence your decision. Do you have kids for him? Do you have a stable job or biz? Have you informed his family, friends and perhaps your religious leader for their intervention? Have you spoken to your own family?
Alot can be done to change the narrative but note that you cannot change a man who is not ready and pls, DIVORCE is an option. Keep it open? Don't die in silence...Talk to people you can trust and cheating back would only worsen a bad situation...#Pray about it, very very important....

One man can buy land and drink garri till his funds mature , another person can use his money and buy car and not even have money to maintain it. And Mr C can start a buisness with the money and the business will either fail or flourish. Its about choice and preferences. It doesn't mean any one of them is foolish or wise at the point of making the decision. Its d result after a couple of years that will determine who made a wise decision at the end of the day. U dont know tomorrow, man proposes God disposes.

Secondly, What u are describing is like buying a car from a dealer and intending to sell in the same city to an end user. Dealer has added his profit already so how will u see gain again. If u want to buy land to resell in a short time for profit, u dont buy from real estate coys. U go to d village, community or family that owns d land and u get it cheap.
Seek to learn things u dont know rather than grand stand in ignorance.

Later unilag moved to owode, my papa no think twice before asking Dem to put his name again..He no pay finish b4 retirement, na we pay am finish..I am saying it that personal build is not a luxury but a necessity.

Djdamian:
You are the one mixing things up. Engaging in a business activity, as you described, falls under earned income (self employment), doesn't it? You're actively participating in the operations of your business, investing your time, effort, creativity, and finances. Passive income is the other way round.in this instance, money works for you. i have told you to go and learn the difference

For those who care to know,

Let's begin by identifying various investment opportunities that can yield passive income. Here's a list of passive income streams that I know and invested in,you can also list yours so we can understand each other:

1. Agriculture investments
2. Real estate/rental investments
3. Transportation/e-hailing as an investor
4. Stock market/crypto market investments
5. Affiliate marketing/drop shipping (facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers via a website or social media platform)
6. Selling digital products and e-books on platforms like Amazon or eBay
7. Renting out equipment/machinery

Among these options, real estate/rental income stands out as the most secure and stable passive income stream. If your earned income allows, venturing into real estate is highly recommended, as it offers a reliable and stable source of income.

That concludes my discussion on this topic. I'll refrain from further elaboration. I rest my case.
You have highlighted everything I wanted to say..You have me as a follower now.
I think you should leave the other dude..
