FLASH::However, the bank saw income from commissions and fees rise 14% to N9.5billion.
Things however went south for the bank after it posted an operating expense of N27 billion (N24.1billion).
We also noted that the bank’s deposits dropped significantly by 9% to N1.4trillion
Also of note was the fact that the bank lent about 18.7% of its Loans and Advances to other banks.
NOTE:The above statement means alot o..Rise in Operating expense will lead to "Job cut" and drop in deposit means that the remaining workers, especially the marketers and the contract staff will have to work their ass off.
Romance › Re: With 600k, Should He Settle Down For Marriage At The Age Of 32? by dapotemi: 3:03pm On Jul 13, 2015
Well Mr OP,you are a very ambitions man..Everything you have achieved within two years shows that you are a very prudent manager of resources.I know people who earns more than that and yet nothing to show for it except booze and clubbing..Now take a leap of faith, you can actually settle down (depending on the kind of woman u want to marry),if she's understanding, prudent and hardworking/smart.I'm glad u love her,you actually need alot of that to overlook alot of her shortcomings..Even if you wait till 40 years,u might not even have up to a million naira in ur acct..From experience, alot of people who married late usually regret they do,imagine a 60 years old man still having kids writing junior waec..What about the uncertainty, you think Nig will be better tomorrow,FORGET IT!
Have a strategic plan of one year, frm your 115k per month u can save another 800k if marriage is WHAT YOU WANT!By feb next year, get an apartment (you DONT need a two-bedroom flat, the other room will be empty nd ure indirectly inviting squatters which u dont need for now.Go for a mini flat, its just you and your wifey and even with a baby you're still good to go).By july next year, settle down..Just Plan, time wait for no one...You might never be Dangote!GEJ said something during his sentforth party from aso-rock and i quote "Those happy people you see out there are not necessarily the richest"..most importantly, talk to God,he will direct your steps...#Peace #TeamExperience

I know i made a bad decision getting pregnant before being married, believe me, i know. undecided
I made many bad decisions actually starting with picking the wrong guy twice.
I'm still learning valuable lessons, everyday.
Its ok to worry because we are human...But don't worry too much..Am happy u accepts you've made a mistake, afterall we all make mistakes and some are still making it..!!!You're doing two things right, ure taking RESPONSIBILITY and you're SHARING your problems..(Others can learn from it) God bless you abundantly for that..
Madam, pls always know that tough situation never last, only tough people do...i have seen and am still seeing alot of people, most especially ladies in similar situation and they are coming out stronger and better..You're better than alot of them..Stay Strong, have Faith.....
THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

yes you are right. But when a northerner in the person of GMB became APC‘s candidate his attitude changed.
Well,i do not agree with u sir...It was obvious from day one (The day that ACN,CPC,ANPP merged) that APC will present a northerner, it was an open secret, even b4 Muazu was annointed chairman..And i also know that APC did not win because Oyegun was made chairman...I still stand on "Incompetence" on the part of Gej and PDP.

,The Game Changer!
The truth is PDP still dont know why they lose, its more of incompetence! And i also think d propaganda machine was effectively utilize by the APC...

freecocoa:
Seems what most of you seeing nothing wrong with how Chimamanda addressed John, are saying is, is that, it's okay to be condescending because someone wants something from you.

So because John expects her to help him, he should shred whatever pride he has and take whatever is thrown at him happily? While this is how it usually works, does that make it okay?

Yet feminism is all about equality? I'm learning a lot.
Now someone is thinking towards my direction..Refering to a fellow adults as "one of my boys" is totally "unafrican"..Its might not be wrong in its entirety depending on d "context" which it was used..Even if my lecturer in sch refer to me as "one of my boys",i will accept it because that is how things works here, but i wont feel good about it(especially if we are in dsame age bracket)..Elnathan doesn't like d tone of dat statement. Its simple,he's African!
Moreover,we are not privy to what happened in dat hall wen dat statement was used,so somebody might not be telling all d story!
And dat ur thought abt Feminism»Equality,me sef i dey learn o.
Literature › Re: Chimamanda Adichie Blasts Elnathan John, A Writer From Kaduna In New Interview by dapotemi: 12:34am On Mar 22, 2015
Lol...EVERYBODY cannot be dsame...Well,some can evn go to d extent of "licking madam ministers ass" for few dollars sef,BUT there are people out there that will never do such!Yes,call it "Pride","Ego" or anything, those trait are not entirely bad in itself...U dont mess up my self esteem because u wanna connect me to ur publisher..When i finally get to meet "ur publisher",i'll still need it,so dont mess it up..I tink Elnathan is jus being African.Very few african men will like to be refer to as mere "boy"..I dont like it too!
Secondly, someone said that its because Adichie is a lady/woman,i tink there is a connection in that also.Mayb if "she" is a "he",MAYBE,and i repeat, maybe elnathan would not av seen it dat way...So i still feels d guy is jus being African and am sure theres notin wrong in that also.

Onegai:
I don't know if he is, but she's right about one thing: his writing feels very hollow, like someone trying constantly to stir up emotions, not like someone inviting you to deep introspection. I can rarely remember what he wrote and I read last year. I remember being all hyped up about him and now I read his tweets and usually roll my eyes and move on.

Like if he was on NL, he would constantly be writing to gain likes and start a thread war, not say anything meaningful.

I'm no fan of Ms. Adichie but she's right about it.

Also why be so offended by "boy"? If the biggest publisher in the world (who happens to be male) said to a crowd of hopeful writers "I'm proud of my boys" referring to them, won't they have swallowed it and laughed and brushed it off in the quest for greatness? Would we have heard complaints if it was a Nigerian politician sharing money with "you boys take that"? They would shrug and swallow it with a tight smile. And she introduced him to her publisher, sounds like she was invested in his future
So maybe their work relationship was close, to her.

When people make a fuss over stuff they take everyday in real life undecided
I respect Ms .Adichie and i also visit Elnathan's blog everyday, that guy is good.I'm happy he attended Chi's workshop, that means he wants to get better and be the best in what he does..But i tink we need to understand "word" in its "context" and "environment"..A statement such as "one of my boys" means nothing to maybe an american man but here in nig it is a jab "below d belt",not when ure talking to a MAN,with mayb two wife and kids (lol)..Believe me,most nig men will see it as insult..UNLESS,ure feeding him!If u refer to an oyinbo man as "proud",he sees it in a positive way,but my people in nig will not accept it,he views it as an insult!Ms. Adichie is a great woman nd it seems frm d exchange of emails she also feels Elnathan is an humble, polite and respectful person..Its just MISUNDERSTANDING!!!They should let it sly...

God bless all the members of TEHN..But i tink ur "job" is not complete here.I think u need to speak with d mother privately,if possible and ask her some very important questions like dis;
1) If shes interested in dis relocation idea.
NOTE: Wat abt d father, nobody is sayin anytin abt him,abi d man is late? If he's alive, did he wanna relocate too? Did we intend to seperate d mum and dad?
MY ADVICE: Drop d relocation idea, the path will not be smooth.
2) Instead of renting a shop for two years,i'll prefer something "solid" and more impactful like "buying a shop..Two years is very small o,b4 u know it, e don complete..I was told d cheapest shop in Tejuoso modern market is about 600k..Buy that shop, add goods worth 200k and give d woman 100k cash.THEN LEAVE THEM!
NOTE:That shop will be an asset,if she did not manage her biz well, she can always rent out d shop, sit in her house and be receiving her rentage...That woman i saw wit DJ is over 60 years,so i av dis feeling she might not really av d strenght to manage a biz for long, what if shes not cut-out for biz..But if she owns d shop, she can always rent it out! Whether she rent out her shop or sell stuff inside it,everymorning wen she sees dat shop, she will remember evryone of us in her prayer..i choose Tejuoso market because its closer to their house, Pls NL,it cud be any other shop at any other modern market..JUST BUY IT!
3) I donated for medical purpose,so i'll suggest dat some part of d remaining cash should be used for any other verified NL in need...
Nevertheless, ,God will give u d wisdom and understanding to make d right decision..We will not gather like this to make dis type of decision on behalf of any member of NL..

Dear all,

We thank all those who sent in their applications for job placement in our Firm. We must however inform you that at present, we had only one vacant position but within the next 3 months we shall be recruiting for other positions. We have selected few out of the applications we received and mails had been sent to them for a written aptitude test in our office on Thursday/Friday. For those who were not selected, we are still keeping your resume for future consideration. We have taken into consideration academic qualifications, experience and nearness to our office.

For those not selected, we thank you for your interest and we wish you best of luck in your career.

N:B: A piece of advice, we noted that some applicants are fond of applying for job by forwarding your last application thereby showing the details of your last applications. This is bad way of applying for job and some employers will discard your application even without looking at your resume. Always send your application to a new prospective employer afresh.

Pls take note
Pls,kindly expantiate on this...Want to learn more.Thanks
