The only difference between this woman and other murderers is that she has no access to gun. If she did, the man would be dead especially when she came out from the car.

Terrible and extremely unfortunate situation. Let me assume that she was not sent by someone to do just that though the way she stares around before switching the gas proved otherwise.

As usual, she will blame the devil.

Politics › Re: Fulani Man In Austria Calls Young Nigerians Idiots For Supporting Buhari by DAramis:
This life is really not fair. According to that video, there is a particular lady who was not born in Nigeria but in Switzerland. She spent all her years in Switzerland, thereby not knowing what suffering is.

Unfortunately, because of peanut which she was offered, she decided to join this falcon bus heading to God knows where. If she had gone as an individual in her own capacity, it would have shown that it was her personal decision. However, she joining this sponsored bus shows she willingly mortgage her conscience just to shore up image of a country she never lived in.

News flash: Records shows that over 90 percent of those in that bus never lived in Nigeria in the last 5 - 7 years. It shall be well.
Romance › Re: My Brother's Wife Will Not Accept 50k, Monthly Stipend On Family Upkeep by DAramis: 5:47pm On Jul 20, 2021
I think your brother should prepare a list of all the things they need and make out time to buy them himself. Then, cut the allowance to 10 thousand naira monthly. That is the only way your brother would know if that money is enough or not (but I am definitely sure it is more than enough).

The 10k should be for her personal upkeep like buying powder, cream, bathing soap, etc for herself or both of them. Since she can't manage 50k (which majority don't even earn as salary in Nigeria), she is definitely not a financially prudent lady.

Did she came from wealthy family? Most that do, hardly understand the economics of survival as an Ajekpako pikin or someone not born with any silver spoon.

NB: In this difficult time, any woman that refuses to buy foodstuffs in a major market where it is cheaper even if it means taking 200 naira transportation to that area, but prefer to buy from high end stores like shoprites or malls does not wish the husband well.

Please is better you go to the passpost express office in Maitama at Plot 1386 Tigris Cres, Maitama 900271,(glass House) Abuja. in that way you just make payment of 25k online for 5years 32 pages, when you get to the office you pay for express which is 30k so a total of 55k...you will get your passport in 24 hours, but if you go to the headquarters at the Airport Road, they might end up charging you more and still be giving stories of no booklet....I de tell you out of experience.
Better approach, but the challenge is staying far from Abuja (the person who needs it most).
Duly noted.

I asked, why are you talking about things you know nothing about ? grin grin.

They exist for everyone ? How many students are on NFSAS in South Africa vs the youth population?

How many have recieved grant to start businesses?

I know you guys despise your own country, but don't go around picking facts ** out of your arse about SA. Ask if you don't know, dont assume and make a fool out of yourself with so much confidence shocked.
To start with, we don't despise our country, but just that, the opportunities that used to be there are removed daily as the world progresses. For example, majority of the current crop of politicians in my country attended free education up to university level while still being paid stipend on monthly basis.

After graduation, most are offered work with a brand new Peugeot 406 car topped with it. All these benefits have been removed. School fees hiked to the highest with one politician making comment that school is not for the poor while forgetting that he was actually trained freely by the government and his community during his time. The latest, trying to Jack admission age to 18 years rather than the normal 15-16 years it took most Nigerians.

Lastly, I have issue with people who refuses to be civil when having online discussion in an online forum. You used some unpleasant words in your first reply which I ignored. Instead of putting your facts outs for everyone to learn, you still results to same tactics of making such snide remarks. That it is a faceless forum does not give you leeway to insult someone online. My last reply on this topic.

Please, just let us leave it at this point. Gats no strength to argue especially coming from a lady who behaves unlady like whether online or offline.

Good night from here.

The question is whether those facilities I mentioned exist in South Africa or not? undecided
Was it not on nairaland here that one school offered all students laptop facility or the money equivalent in lue of the laptop. Majority took the money [hefty money].

The few that refused to take the money got a kiddies laptop which led to mockery online by same students. How many have been offered in Nigeria? huh In my school, such facility does not exist.

Maybe you don't know, if we have access to 50 percent of opportunities available to south Africans, believe me, no Nigerian would ever relocate to South Africa to live. We would simply be giving them bailout money just as it was during aperthied. sad Anyway, if they like, make them burn down their country. Na them sabi.

Most of these app are only interested in getting access to your details which they will use to open fraudulent accounts overseas and lauder money.

Don't be surprised, in future, if you travel to China, you might be detained under the impression that your passport details matches account used to commit fraud in their country. Currently, Indian citizens are passing through such.

It is unfortunate that, South Africa that is a land filled with opportunities, but majority of its people (young ones) decided to be lazy and fo.ol.s.

A country where they can access all sorts of credit facilities, whether for businesses, schools, housing etc. Well, it's unfortunate situation. The main annoyance is that majority of shops looted are foreigners that owned it.

Hi everyone!
Please, I’m in need of a accommodation or say, a private dormitory. My Uni says they’re not accepting Nigerians in their dorm this year.
Please, I need help urgently.

Thank you
Which university?
You could drop the name of the university for people to be aware of those to avoid when seeking for admission.

Either they had bitter experience with a former student of Nigerian origin or the intentionally block Nigerians from staying in their own dormitory which is extremely bad. How can a house landlord offer you accommodation in his blocks of flat but refused to allow you to pack your bicycle or car inside the compound? huh
To me, it means you are not welcomed.

Quite a few are rentals. The one we've organised for next summer to Bristol is a rental ie they're swapping their rented house in Bristol with us - they've taken contents cover insurance and informed the agents that they're away for 2 months but will have friends staying so the house is not empty. We're not exchanging money so it doesn't breach the tenancy agreement.

We're not swapping cars as we have access to cars in the UK (will just borrow my SIL's car) and they really don't need a car here in Wellington. And once you start swapping within western Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia (SE), I find they're mainly rentals as well.
Thanks for the clarification though not living in UK. Just for knowledge purposes.

Just learnt new thing from you. Must the swapping be among home owners? What of those that are renting?

Asking on behalf of others living in UK but not house owners.

Oh… Maybe you want this person to develop blood pressure hahahaha… Are you sure they will blacklist him/her for not keeping the visa appointment? It’s true a lot of people are wishing to book this appointment, but could not. This is not the type of news that many would like to hear because it hurts to read that someone wants to cancel while many are hustling to book. Anyway, I don’t think canceling an appointment should lead to any problem. Finally, I don’t know the number to cancel an appointment, but I only know the number for booking.
It would lead to problem except they don't want to go that extreme. It could be issues like these that made them to cancel online booking and introduce phone call booking knowing fully well that, those that would call are ready with their documents.

This similar thing happened in German thread. People booking and cancelling indiscriminately. Now, booking interview for Germany visa is 2 years ahead.
Travel › Re: Polish Student Visa by DAramis: 6:24am On Jul 12, 2021
Na wah, visa appointment slot people are seeking for at all cost, is what someone is planning to cancel. It is annoying that, the person knows he or she is never ready, but still went ahead to book the appointment.

Anyway, the phone number and the person details might be blacklisted in worse case scenario.

Employees must learn to be honest at all times; bosses have a heart, that's why they were kind enough to employ you in the first place.

God bless mean bosses like this.

I remember back in the days, I had this worker that wouldn't let me score. She told me it was against her morals. First, she was married and secondly, she was a devout Muslim. So I let her be.

Vyolet:
They come home to marry Nigerian women because they know it is only a Nigerian woman that can put up with this bullshits.
LAMO, @ putting up with bullshit.

@OP,

I don't know the reason but I think most would be regarding to family oriented women. Some of these foreign women don't want children, and the few that want, would expect one 1 child in the union (Maybe the reason they are having declining population).

Also, language barrier, cultural barriers, and unwillingness to be closer to extended families might be another reason why they don't marry women over there. As regards Nigerian ladies overseas, a nairalander once narrated his experience. Most African and Nigerian ladies he met (I think in Germany), always gives him attitude thinking he is illegal, and needs papers till he met a citizen over there who took him for who he is at that moment. That experience rubbed off greatly on him. I believe he would be advising any new Nigerian on staying away from them ladies due to his bitter experience.

Lastly, fear of unknown is a greater reason why they might not be marrying over there. The fear of ending up in Nursing home, or having no one to look after them is likely the reason. At least with Nigerian wife and children, in some regions (cultures) in Nigeria , the first son must return back to take care of their parents (compulsory). So if the Nigerian man decides to retire in Nigeria after living his life in abroad, he expects his children (especially first son to look after him).
