I just came across this thread now. Mine, officially is 2 years + but still not ready. Hopefully in few weeks. Majority of Nigerian universities are good in frustrating someone. Even the university application, I wanted to do with it, lost the opportunity, but I do hope and pray for better opportunities once ready.

NB: It is not same school with yours, but only wanted to let you know that, you are not the only one experiencing this sh*t when it comes to document verification between WES and most Nigerian Universities.

Actually, I applied to schools that do not necessitate having potential supervisor/advisor before submitting applications. I only contacted potential supervisors after i submitted all my applications. However, I got one positive reply so far from this particular potential supervisor in UF out of numerous professors that I contacted. Actually, I am waiting for decisions to start rolling in.

Btw, I hope you applied/are applying to other universities also.

Can you be able to drop the schools for others to check out other courses offered by them? That is, if you don't mind

TAKE YOUR COVID VACCINATION! Even before your interview make sure you have your first dose. Don’t say you are waiting to be sure you’ll get the visa, that means you are doubting yourself. Request for express delivery using DHL. Chat them up and see how that can be done rather than using their own postal service agency that may be sluggish.

Everything is possible. It is just a stone throw from you. Send a mail also, and if possible, place a call across to them to know how urgent you need the physical certificate.

To the best of my knowledge, most embassy needs physical hard copy of some documents inorder to verify.

It cost you nothing to request for the physical copy, if you can afford to pay the over 140 pounds for its verification in the first place.

Just get the physical copy. Remember, the certificate is ielts equivalent. If embassy request for ielts physical result slip, what makes you think this would be different?

He now has various health issues and is well in his late 50s/ early 60s. He decides he needs to rest and reduce work hours....expecting his wife whom he had trained to step in. She carries 70 percent of family load for a few months and becomes angry. Accusing him of being Lazy and unfair. She now has money. She starts calling the shots and in a lot of cases now flirting /having bf. Going for parties and living the city girl life. The disrespect starts. They start having issues... she becomes really irritated at the man whom she now considers beneath her (women are hypergamous). She start looking to replace him. Their fights increase as she keeps taunting him to get off his lazy ass as she's not a slave. This is the story she starts spreading to garner support. One day she accuses the man of domestic violence falsely. The man has to leave the house he bought from sweat and all his struggling alone. In some cases depending on the age of the child he is forced to pay child support.... the world judges him as a lazy man. HE IS IN HIS 60s ... raised and trained his family especially the now boss babe wife. Suddenly his whole life is destroyed. She teaches the kids to insult look down on their dad as she uses her money to manipulate them. The man is destroyed. Both financially and emotionally. He starts going into depression..in some cases like we hear a lot .. he acquires a gun comes back and ends her life and his. I JUST GAVE YOU A NORM FOR MOST OF THE MEN THAT CAME IN THE 80S /90s AND BROUGHT IN WOMEN. They are all advising younger men.... DO NOT TRY IT. The stories are always similar. Except on very rare occasions. Our Nigerian women are notorious for destroying men when they get here. They want ro be boss babes.
