Joel3:My favorite back in the days.. Always prepare two packet when ever you are really famished and needs urgent meal. |
Tonyspecial:How na.. the traditional na for the girl parents place it will hold. Feeding and drinks is very important in that place than any other place. Church wedding, na small thing. E no dey to cost for feeding people... just do give away or take away e don do but traditional, lie lie food and drinks must go round. |
baralatie:Na op wan spend that kind money. Max 1.5million should be budgeted for it. Then plead economy crises as factor for limited spending. |
baralatie:OP is trying to cut cost. The suggestion might be comfortable to her wife to be than the issue of doing both in the city. Every woman would like her traditional wedding to be done in her father's house or extended family compound. It shows where she is coming from, and put a stamp on her non-avaliability. Summary of the whole statement of mine is that, both should come to a compromise before the event proper. It would be bad if their union is started on a bad note with hatred and acrimony of wedding issue. |
@OP, traditional marriage is more important, because you will need to fulfil traditions before any other civil marriage (Church marriage inclusive). The best solution is to move the church wedding to the East then. Do a simple white wedding with 3 witnesses on both sides, and then proceed to the village to do elaborate traditional wedding. The foods and drinks to be served on the traditional wedding will cover for both weddings. Remember, it could be same day or two days interval between both weddings. The expenses should even be lesser... probably around 1 million or 1.5 million max. My opinion. CC Annoms |
Khormzy1:Yes. |
yourshopkwikguy:Which visa stuff? No idea bro. And, moreover I have no link to any neither am I an agent. |
Khormzy1:If you are talking about insurance for visa application, I believe it would be travel health insurance. Check the polish website because they seems to have specific insurance policy from insurance companies which they accept. |
yourshopkwikguy:You sent me a PM. I would like to know what it is all about? |
seunny4lif:If actually the guy is the father of all those children, It shows the guy virility is very strong unlike some men ![]() Some men are like that. One free kick, and he scores ![]() |
seunny4lif:So, son of man dey free like that. ![]() If na some of these feminists countries now , son of man go dey cool his two feet for prison while asking himself had I known..... |
Childofthelord:Well, I wish her to take the right decision even if it means sleeping over it over the course of few days. |
ednut1:To be honest, if it was a guy with no papers, it would have been understandable. That is, the guy could be seeking better prospects to legalise his stay. But this bunmi has well cut out plan to actualise her stay before chasing her plans, but something is urging the person to take a step that might make her to stumble. What will it take the person to make sacrifices for few years, get her permanent stay before going off as an adventurer. At the bolded, hmmmm. It would be very difficult to solve if it is such. |
seunny4lif: ![]() As he come resign now, na government go pay the remaining child support? |
The last lady eyelash can be used to sweep Abuja national stadium and Eagle Square without any issue ![]() |
If they have other internal scholarships in the school, it could be better to move. After 1 semester, you apply for support assistant in the school or other internal scholarship. Job prospects is another good option but don't know if the country allows it for foreign students. |
Nice thread. Read from beginning till the end. OP, we hope you can do another similar travel and update the thread. Something like, visiting other African countries or other region of the world. Stay safe and enjoy your stay. |
Saboteurs everywhere. Most times, sailing alone is far better than trying to sail together with people in same boat. His night watch has ended on this earth.
|
OP, are you Bunmi? Advice would be to look for region which share similar weather with Nigeria to relocate to. Also, as for Nigerian friends and owambe, she should Google it up and see cities with most Nigerians. Like someone said, securing the permanent residence or citizenship is far better than chasing shadows over another country. Leaving Canada might be easy, but trying to get in back, and into the same job, might become difficult. Try and take wise decision sha. |
Ikenga12:It is a simple letter showing that you gave the person right to submit your documents to the embassy for legalisation. Also, go with your whole documents including the international passport. For B.sc, you submit only waec (according to what has been said). The international passport copy is, if someone is submitting for you. I think it is for them to use it to verify that the documents actually belong to the owner shown on the data page of the international passport. If you are submitting yourself, they may collect your original international passport to view and crosscheck with names on the documents you are submitting. After confirmation, they will hand over the international passport to you. Also remember, it is alleged that it takes one month for the legalised documents to come out. Golden advice: Try and go through the thread once more.... maybe last 50 - 70 pages to get an idea of the whole process (should take you 3 days max to read it). 2ndly, Legalisation could either be done by yourself by booking appointment online (if you didn't get any, you keep on checking online till you see available space to book for one) or by assistance (meeting people who came to the embassy to legalise their own documents to seek for their assistance in helping you to submit your own documents also. Those who came for visa submission at the embassy can still help you submit your documents). No other alternative. Remember, the assistance own is subject to the discretion of the embassy. If they close that part and insist on the document owner submitting the document by themselves after getting appointment, there is nothing you can do. |
GreaterFuture:True, like a nairaland lady once said in the thread, It reeks like di.ck measuring contest.. It is part of what goes with social media sha |
optimusprime2:It is very necessary o to avoid story that touch the teeth ![]() I dey. Just the manage life. |
kramer:I know about it. It was actually the last bbbn whatever that I came to know about it. Different clothing style for each appearance. I used to see his thread on nairaland during each episode. |
kramer: ![]() Well, his dress sense is top notch. As for his hustle, it seems like it actually paid. Never knew he married daughter of young shall grow transport tycoon. To be honest, some of these billionaires might not actually be dishing out money like people are imagining. He is still working hard to cater for his children and wife. |
kramer:Which rich wife? Someone mentioned he came from wealthy family up there. |
GreaterFuture:No wonder. I have always had the impression that this guy came from rich family or have parents into politics. This people claiming grass to grace when it was obvious that they are born with silver or golden spoon should leave it abeg. It makes no sense doing that. Let them allow those who actually passed through challenges to do so. |

optimusprime2:I remember bro. ![]() The brace teeth advice was actually from you in the comment section on that thread ![]() Hope your location is treating you well in this pandemic period? |
madamori9:According what I have read so far, calling the phone number is to book appointments for visa application. On the other hand, you can visit the embassy if you are close by. Give your documents with authorisation letter to anyone you meet who came for interview or legalisation to help you submit (few people claimed it is possible in this thread). Once the person comes out, collect the submission receipt and hold. You can pick up your documents once it is ready with evidence of ownership (international passport) and the submission receipt. If someone is picking it up for you, you give the person another authorisation letter, your international passport and receipt to help you collect it from the embassy. |
