******UPDATE......

I was able to help her package her application with a nice cover letter which I drafted for the application. After the whole thing, she met me, and was present when I sent the application out using her official email address. Told her to keep me posted.

It was today that I contacted her about any update, that she remembered to inform me that the agency requested for her Skype ID. They also said that, they will get across to her.

Did the little I can for her though she has other options she is pursuing.

NB: I met her when she was preparing for her final exams and took a liking to her due to her calm, respectful and reserved nature. After few weeks of chatting, I asked her out but she stalled it. I told her (after weeks of asking her out) that whatever dicision she takes would not affect the help which I am trying to help her with. I do hope that it pulls through for her.

Like it is always said, relationships just like communication is a 2-way road. When one road is permanently closed, it will no longer work out.
By asking her out, I mean dinner date just to get to know her better.

Second Update (June, 2021).

I got to know that this comment of mine due get one or two likes. With regards to the information at my disposal, life happens.

She didn't give me any further update. She got a job in a hospital at the country she schooled in, and is facing her living squarely. I already moved on with my own life. She seems comfortable working in that country than moving out of it (my opinion).

Exactly what I did and was rated 1 ( one missing timestamp by the way). Escalated it but the lady was telling me something else.

The only work I did without error but with that missing timestamp. She said that when such occurs, you should press the ESC up to (or more than) 50 times. That it will definitely load.

The whole thing is discouraging especially with the whole rating of a thing. Just took few days to study the FAQ but still encountering issues on the transcription job.

NB: Like you also, I had a lady that I asked out (calm and cool headed introverted lady) but she gave me three weeks to think over it. Never called and hardly picked call. The last time I met her to help her with something was the day I freed my mind from her. Told her whatever decision she takes, I will definitely respect it which elicited smile from her.

Told myself never to call her except when necessary for some help or otherwise. Liked her as well but that is where it stops.

The advantage of using agent is that you would have people who would be organized enough to handle the processes involved especially with submission of documents and all other logistics, it takes commitment and experience with good communication.
So, most employers would give out the contract to agencies to handle.
Please do not pay any agency
Do not sign any contract with any agency no matter how harmless. Your employment contract must be clear and must be from your employer.
I have heard of direct recruitments also.

Whenever I tries to watch any of the Nigerian matches, it seems like it is that time they will decide among themselves to disappoint me. It happened in the female world cup and now this.
