There isn't enough information from NNPC for this conclusion to be made. Yet NNPC does not pay as high as other IOCs and even other MDAs in the oil n gas sector i.e DPR PPPRA etc. How can they divide total emoluments by number of staff as if they earn the same salary. How about pensioners?. The increase in minimum wage could also contribute to the increase in salaries. In every organisation, Salaries and compensation is usually the highest of its expenditure. Human capital is always the most important Asset in a company.

Update on IOR/MPE

CONDUCT OF THE COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) PHASE OF 2020 MIDDLE MANAGEMENT INTERNAL RESOURCING EXERCISE



Dear Colleagues,



Following the successful completion of the application process of the 2020 Middle Management Internal Resourcing Exercise and the screening Phase of the Internal Open Resourcing (IOR) Exercise, Management has approved the conduct of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for both Management Promotion Exercise (MPE) and Internal Open Resourcing (IOR) Exercise.



The Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 22nd September, 2020. The MPE and IOR CBT exercises are expected to run the same day at various NNPC locations within and outside the Country.



Consequently, participating candidates will be advised on their respective centres and time of the examinations.



We would like to use this medium to appreciate the enormous support extended by Business leaders during the recently concluded IOR Screening exercise.



In the same vein, we kindly request the active support of all employees to guarantee successful conduct of the forthcoming CBT exercise.


We wish all staff preparing to participate in the MPE and IOR CBT the best of luck.

Errrrr.... it's not true that people in SS1 are writing exams to make M5.... rather the people in M6 (recently promoted to M6 by the way) are writing for M5 positions. SS1 peeps are writing for M6. They are about 900+ SS1 peeps and 1200+ SS2 peeps writing for 125 DM positions. It may interest you to know that some SS1 & SS2 men with less than 5 years to retire are not participating.

September is almost here. everything pertaining to promotion is scheduled to end in september. We ll see what happens after the exercise.

1. GTs got their letter six months ago.

2. This interval between GTs completion and that of EH component has never happened before.

3. It does not make sense that NNPC with its robust HR department will use 6 months to do internal alignment.

4. GTs are still at home.

5. Some civil servants in MDAs are still at home...some private workers in all sector of the economy are still at home...

It follows logically that the major setback in the EH component of the recruitment is COVID-19...

I expected yesterday that the lock down will be relaxed further to permit all workers to resume.

However, the presidential task force has extended any feasible relaxation by a month. International flight may resume then as plans and protocols are already being formulated.

Apart from its socio-economic effects on us all, this virus has almost rendered this year useless.


We pray it goes away soon...

This is totally wrong. It's NOGIC JQS internship. The salary structure is the same with NNPC, DPR and others under Ministry of petroleum. As a GT, you're placed on SS6.

There's what you call secondment... probably for new intakes it might be hard,but LNG if you don't know is like a joint venture of about 5 coys NNPC being one,so you actually have staffs of those 5 companies working in nlng..for instance Alh Mai bornu former MD of Npdc was seconded o nlng as the Deputy managing director after his tenure in NPDC ended,and he's an Nnpc staff...

By God's grace it was me using hooha then! I think this time around the miracle rain will fall in several confinements..
