Guys I think the list is ready but the wait might not be over just yet. I was watching a program on AIT not long ago and the Senate committee on petroleum holding the list on their hands said it doesn't reflect federal character hence the recruitment should be cancelled, that a state has 17 names while the President's state has just 1. So let's hope they resolve the issue amicably without substituting names or cancel anything. coz I no trust these Senate guys.

Lol I am not. I am just a truth sayer, your recruitment unfortunately may go the way of the 2010 and 2014 exercisse which died quietly. In addition to the contract staff saga, production is likely to be suspended for sometime making nnpc to think of reducing its staff rather than add more. It is a sad fact, this recruitment will very likely not see the light of day.

There are many contract staff that have been used by nnpc for years, they have been ignored. Those guys are crying out now and nnpc cannot ignore them. They have been tricked for years into believing they'd be confirmed, but nothing has happened. These guys are not willing to let it happen again, they are insisting that they must be settled before any recruitment and I think they are right. Employing them will be cheaper for the corporation as it will cut down training cost but the system doesn't care, using and dumping has always been our way. Those guys have gone on strike sometime this year and it affected production, I am not sure the management of nnpc is ready for a show down with them.

1st time comment here: been monitoring the pages for long, but my moniker was my real name, so 2 wks ago I created the 82ndperspective.

Last week Tuesday I spoke with my contact in NNPC. His station is in PH. He was supposed to be one of the panelist, he was already in Abuja on the 3rd ahead of the 4th, but had to leave for his station to address an emergency that came up. He got replaced as a result of that development.

Meanwhile what he told me was that I should consider this whole delay a blessing. He said immediately after handover, a lot of names were smuggled into the list of successful candidates; usually it comes with some colletaral damage to the merit list.

When MKK used some trusted loyalists to appraise the process, names were discovered that didn't exist at the interview stage. This corroborates the story someone posted here sometime about 70 names being detected at first glance. So he said he was told that MKK ordered that each successful candidates emerging APL should be should be pinned against his scoreline and interview invitation letter showing that barcode (something he said about the barcode not to be easily manipulated).

Anyway, button line, he says that's the reason why it was delayed because all those verification prompted the temporary suspension.

Then came the political pressure which was given birth to due to the lopsided reality of the performance of the candidates. Between that and other factors, the matter is still in check, as at last week Tuesday. Wanted to deposit, but my new moniker wasn't allowed to make a submission till another week.

The process has not been cancelled please. Yes it’s currently on hold pending when approvals are given to the new package review for all the staffs at NNPC. I was told the new mgt are delaying it because of the package review currently at presidential villa for approval. They won’t want to issue APL to new recruits with the old package. So that’s the reason behind the suspension of the process. He also said Maybe in November or December it’ll be concluded.

Permanent GT's are getting up to 4m. worst 3.5-4 if we are even being conservative. contract GT's are on 2.6 so i'm not misleading.

Yes the negotiation is still at the villa and main problem was the last GMD didn't tidy up the process well. New GMD has come in and is also having to ask for funds to implement this process. It will eventually be done though

Hi guys i talked to my source today, he said the whole process has been done they are just waiting for management to approve d list, but nobody knows when they will approve it, and they found out almost 70 candidates that didnt make d cut off mark of 70 percent during d exams where envited for the interview, that was why it took very long for the process to be concluded, coz it affected the credibility of the recruitment exercise, the cancellation rumours were actually true but hopefully they have resolved it...we should just keep praying but he thinks they wont cancell it, because they even included our salaries from july-december in their 2019 budget about 1500 new employees so lets not lose hope they are actually doing their best to give us a credible recruitment exercise i wish myself and everyone the best.

I strongly believed that the recruitment is over! The newly recruited staff have already gotten their confirmation letters. A friend told me there is nothing like second list, most probably a fresh recruitment exercise sometime next year.

Guy, I was doing what was right, but it didn't come out as planned . I was confident, but it bursted, that is why I couldn't give up despite criticisms. Meanwhile, APL will come out soon, but I will not be involved with dates....Sorry Elzackzacky, martinsfm, Arelemoni, Benflash, etc..... I truly didn't come here to joke, neither have I ever posted any such news before. I most time watch what people post....
