Says the man whose probable sole claim to office is Federal Character! ![]() They should do and be going please. My fear is that this stupidity they started will outlast them, and others may use it as justification for their appointments in future. Silly people everywhere. |

And here I am, feeling sorry that the soldiers are being used as cannon fodder by FG and BH, and uncle Nicholas is part of the cast of this stupidity. ![]() |

flokii: She looks intelligent to me, and her résume confirms that. How do professional bankers look like by the way? It's the poster that I blame, instead of listing her achievements, he used that rubbish 'stunning' that people abuse here. FYI, she's better qualified than the Edward chap they elevated from HR. 3 Likes |

africansunite: The bolded is why and how PMB has taken over the crown of cluelessness, and if you don't see anything wrong in it, you can only blame yourself really. |

Growing up, if the authorities unleash one Squadron of Mopol, it means situation is critical. They'll arrange the unrest with their horsewhips and return to barracks. Now we have "Bandits" having the firepower and guts to raid military outposts, and kill soldiers, and escape with minimal casualties! ![]() Something is desperately faulty. I blame the Soldiers oh. How the heck can I fight in NE, survive BH, then allow bandits free reign, because they are of a particular ethnic stock? Kill them first, ask questions later, you guys are being compromised for NOTHING, and dying needlessly. Imagine the double KO of allowing BH drive casually through Yobe to return girls they borrowed from Nigeria, and this useless attack, within twenty four hours. The Nigerian Army is being headed by dolts in my opinion. Protect your men, let them fight, let them defend themselves. |

But they have a VALID point. If the rest of Nigeria will PERISH without the North ![]() |

SamoaJoe: You believe we came into existence from non-existence, can't think of a more paradoxical context than this. When the pressure is on, you will identify with whatever you believe in. The earth as God intended was perfect, He looked at it and saw that it was GOOD. The earth after the fall of man, is a place of brokenness and despondency, there can NEVER be a heaven on earth. I like how you say the people that invented stuff were "Non-believers" as this enforces that you admit there IS something to believe in, even if you don't know it or believe in it. You also cannot authoritatively state that anyone died an unbeliever, which is the only grouse I hold against the initial tweet by Franklin Graham. You'd be shocked by how many people acknowledge the existence of God in their death throes, and enter into eternal life. |

Donpresh95: Truth! Watch as the soldiers will refrain from taking the fight to the herdsmen, even as attacks continue. Please where is the bast**d governor? |

This is NOT a clash. Fulani attacked and massacred innocent Nigerians. Gov Bello is a daft clown. 7 Likes |

Yamaha Bello is lost. Man is bereft of ideas and is just winging it at this point. I don't think it's possible for ANY other governor from Kogi or indeed, Nigeria, to be as unintelligent as this oaf ![]() ![]() ![]() |

left behind 37 children, 97 grand children You see why our politicians loot and steal shamelessly? What other businesses did he run outside being a governor? We have not been told, instead he was banking on entitlements from the state government to look after him. In other climes, once you leave public office, you return to your private practice or business. In Nigeria, you need to remain in government or you CANNOT eat. |

You see eh, if only most of our muslim brethren are allowed to "let their hair down", this is the type of frolicking they want to do as well, and worse sef. They like alcohol, they like porn, they like touchy touchy, they like scantily clad babes, their babes like to be pampered and fondled. So why do they act like if they touch a female in public, they'll develop a life threatening rash and die before 4pm? ![]() Unleash an aboki where nobody knows him, and make vices available to him, and you'll be shocked at his "Wokeness" ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Same thing Lalong did in Plateau State a while back. Truly useless and evil governors ![]() ![]() |

Mobsync: It's amazing how they're brandishing the weapons in native attire, these are likely the turncoat criminals. Shows you how hopeless our security agencies are. They've empowered a killer to kill his boss, and they actually believe that he'll hand back the weapons and become law abiding. By this time next year, who can guess who'll be the most wanted in Zamfara axis? Your guess is as good as mine. |
![]() |
My own problem is why there's an army officer watching civilians handle an assault rifle ![]() This is how they taught these miscreants basic weapons handling, and probably supply them as well. If the useless intel agencies we have in the country weren't busy arresting bloggers, they'd find out when that photo was taken, the identities of all present and what role that rogue officer played there. ![]() ![]() |

Olumaeme: By your logic, Fayose is the BEST candidate then, since he does all of the above. Yet his state is in a sorry state (and nowhere near Gombe infrastructure wise). Election is next year, we'll watch and see. 1 Like |

Now, instead of wasting more money on changing the election sequence, why can’t we spend that N2 billion on building at least one pedestrian bridge in every Nigerian state capital?. One day, this Prof will say something sensible. That day is not today ![]() 1 Like |

Olumaeme: That part you mentioned above clearly shows you haven't bothered to do your research and have NEVER been to Gombe and it's neighboring states. The state doesn't even owe salaries (since that's what his useless colleagues use as benchmark) and all roads within the metro are excellent. You do not need your headlamps to drive at night either, and BH or herdsmen conveniently bypass the state. So what is a meaningful achievement again? APCs secret weapon in the north WAS Buhari, but they've played that incorruptible messiah card and look how far backwards we've gone. Once he loses Tinubu's supoprt, (sooner than later), Buhari is toast. |

Mogidi: I find this intriguing. Tell me how you think any of the highlighted individuals above can fare better than Dankwambo. Lamido is a waste of time and effort, another entitled Fulani who's being investigated for theft. Jigawa is the size of a LGA, and looks like one. Kwankwso is playing local politics with Ganduje and seems to care too much about his clout in Kano. I have no opinion on Tambuwal yet. But Dankwambo- This here is the ace up the sleeves of PDP and I actually dare them to give him a chance, providing they don't pair him up with a loose canon like Fayose. He's Young, street smart, book smart, actually gets what good governance is about and seems generally liberal about religion, ethnicity and standard Nigerian pitfalls. There's NO state in the North around Gombe that can compare favorably in terms of infrastructure, security, quality of life and provision of social/basic amenities. I daresay Gombe can take even Yola in Adamawa to the cleaners in terms of how far they've come largely under Dankwambo. 2 Likes |

It's increasingly difficult to ascertain the true events unfolding in Mambilla, though casualties keep increasing. Violence begets violence. The fulani WILL become the most vilified ethnic group in Nigeria and the west African subregion, and deservedly too. Their acts of murder and land grabbing is the single common denominator in all instances where they are mentioned. EVERYbody in Nigeria cannot be wrong. The government is not sincere and security agencies are taking sides. If or rather WHEN another militia springs up in response to the fulani menace, there will be hell to pay. I am watching NPF making inane announcements for people with illegal arms to return same, when they KNOW those who are armed. There is unprecedented duplicity in the statements and action of our security agencies and government. ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

MDsambo: The NA does a good job given the resources at their disposal but you flatter them abeg. BH is not a conventional army so we cannot fight a conventional war against them, but if you pit the NA against MOST other armies in africa that are better trained, motivated and equipped, they'd be handed their a$$es on a plate. Nigerian soldiers walk around without name tags, wearing incomplete uniforms, harass civilians wearing the other half the uniforms they refused to wear and chase anything feminine. I was in NE when Mubi capitulated and vigilantes and hunters had to escort SOLDIERS back to retake the town. |
