This is a depressing picture. The troops look tired and bored, like "Just do and come and be going" abeg.

But the challenge is to see and get a girl from a well-to-do family is hard. Is either I can't find any or the few I meet always an attitude issue and are hardly submissive
This is the basis of your problem bros. People only submit in LOVE, not because you are the man, or because they are supposed to be women or wives! Don't you want a woman that will add to you and enable both of you grow, rather than one that just says OK and YES? There's nothing wrong in wanting a woman of high social standing, but be willing to pay the price by compromising. Most of them are raised to be independent, lacking nothing and won't beg you to drop chop money for them. And to be honest, if you're hardworking and sincere, a rich girl and her family will only (if they love you sha...) make way for you to reach the top. wink

Rich4god:
So that dress up there is ok by you... Where ever you are, obey the law of the land... I have seen some ladies dress seductively pass in front of where Muslims are praying. If the Muslims harrass them now, we will all come here and be shouting that Muslims are intolerance. But even their fellow Muslim ladies fully covered up always try not to pass where prayer is going on... Am not against anyone dressing as they like, but dress according to your environment and laws of the land.
Why SHOULD muslims harass anyone for dressing the way they like first of all? Does anyone jail them for wearing hijab, that they always want to force down our throats? People should live and let live please. Lastly, we all know that after virtue signaling during the day, our muslim brethren are some of the most debauched and lascivious people you can ever encounter by night. FACT angry angry

Excellent. Since our media cannot call them out here, the rest of us will use ANY available medium to shame the hell out of them. Silly lying clowns, this government, screwing up every single institution. Mr Integrity my a$$. I don't even know why the opposition isn't milking this Ganduje and other corrupt incidents to their benefit, they can make things very awkward for PMB.
PoliticsRe: Army On A Condolence Visit To Wife Of Ibrahim Sakaba (Photos) by darqly(m): 11:16am On Nov 29, 2018
They only did this stunt because it leaked on SM that this officer was KIA, and everyone is following their every move. The NA, being as useless and inefficient as they officially are, would have taken at least 3 months to admit the death of this man. There was a Col killed in Adamawa, Madagali or Maiha back in 2015, and he was declared as MIA by Def HQ for almost a YEAR, whilst his family in Jos were holding vigils and praying for his safe return. Who does this type of BS in a civilized country abeg? The loss of a loved one is traumatic, more so when it's violent like in warfare, many of you won't understand what it is like to receive the broken and injured corpse of a family member. I pray God comforts them!
PoliticsRe: New Commander Takes Over Boko Haram War by darqly(m): 11:11am On Nov 28, 2018
lexy2014:
Am sure u no that d newly appointed theatre commander wouldn't b d one 2 carry gun. In d space of two years, there have been 5 theatre commanders. D most successful being
Maj- Gen Lucky Irabor from Edo state(March 2016 - May 2017). D guy was top notch. He held weekly press briefings on their operations. He provided facts not propaganda. Everyone knew what was happening on ground in Bornu. After he was relieved, na there d wahala start.

Maj-Gen Attahiru Ibrahim (May 2017 - December 2017) who took over from Gen. Irabor. He was there 4 6months.
Then came in Maj-Gen Nicholas Rogers who was appointed to head the anti-Boko Haram mission in December 2017. He served for just 7months ending in July 2018.
Maj-Gen Ahmed Dikko who took over from him served 5months. Its been a mix of southern & northern officers
I gather Lucky Irabor often led from the front, literally visiting FOBs and inspiring morale amongst the troops. They loved and trusted him, and once you have that, your men will follow you to the death. Can't remember any acts of mutiny during his time as commander. Unless I can find contrary evidence, the northern generals in this war are bloody mediocre and mostly incompetent. This is what you get from excluding those that genuinely want to serve for those that brought letter from one distinguished or the other. Check out the backgrounds of these northern generals, they're from well-heeled and prominent families, you think war was on their mind when they entered NDA??
PoliticsRe: New Commander Takes Over Boko Haram War by darqly(m): 11:04am On Nov 28, 2018
Unlike in the civil service and other MDAs, a shoddy performance in the war against terror costs lives and you cannot "hide" bodybags. Now notice that in almost all MDAs, PMB has appointed his kinsmen to head and they're doing NOTHING useful there with the exception of a few that already had working plans before their ascension. NHIS-Scandal; NNPC- Fraud; NEMA- Fraud; Education- Incompetence; Police- Moribund; FCT- Dead; DSS- Unaware.
The last time BH were put under fire, General Lucky Irabor was the commander. The idiots removed him and brought Dikko for whatever stupid reason. There are rumours that this lousy commander lost the entire taskforce of OPS Lasthold. You cannot prosecute a war using federal character and nepotism, our useless president has just found out.
PoliticsRe: Boko-haram Attack- I Pulled Off My Dirty Uniform And Ran (Nigerian Soldier) by darqly(m): 7:24pm On Nov 26, 2018
Litmus:
If I'd been in Borno, i'd've been commander and I'd never have been outwitted by no ape-brained Bokoharam scum-bag. I'm an individual that trusts no one and always anticipate situations. Problem with Nigerians is that they have beautiful trusting minds, which is often overlooked because of their overblown reputation for criminality. Nigerians are guileless.
Easy for you to say from far off. Most of the commanders i've met in NE are NOT from the North; I find this intriguing and disturbing at the same time. This war, you need street cred and local intel like yesterday, you need to get the locals to trust you. As it stands, BH, using terror and coercion, largely have the edge over our boots on the ground. And lest we forget, military high command is feeding fat off this war and don't give a damn about rank and file.
PoliticsRe: Boko-haram Attack- I Pulled Off My Dirty Uniform And Ran (Nigerian Soldier) by darqly(m): 7:17pm On Nov 26, 2018
Drchristian:
That's the problem with these coward soldiers all that time, the Bokoharram sects are the ones bringing the war to them.
The Nigerian soldiers has been avoiding the sects otherwise the war would have been won
It's terribly unfair to refer to our troops as cowards, bearing in mind they must obey orders. What is clear is that BH has changed tactics and NA has not, leading to increasing casualties and losses for us. NA wants to fight BH using conventional tactics and heavy weapons ill-suited for northeastern/sahel terrain. Even if they wanted to, it will be suicidal to take the fight to BH using current methods and hardware.

EducationRe: Christian Parents, Ifa Priest Protest Against UI School’s Hijab Crisis by darqly(m): 9:31am On Nov 22, 2018
GoTV:
sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, i think Muslims are been marginalized and their rights are trampled upon in most Southern schools. We Christians should better realize that Nigeria is a secular country dominated by Muslims wether we like it or not. Most schools pray the Christian way without considering the faith of Muslims and yet we Christians still refuse to let Muslims wear an harmless Hijabhuh I hope Muric and other Muslim groups reject this open hypocrisy of we Christians sad
I don't understand your line of thought. How can a secular country dominated by Muslims have the same Muslims as being marginalized?? This is the blatant fallacy that makes muslims think they can get away with ANYTHING in Nigeria. The north, which is predominantly muslim, has refused a census where religion will be enumerated, why?? That one religion is vocal doesn't mean it is dominant. If anything, muslims are the ones persecuting themselves and EVERY other peace-loving citizens. See shiite vs sunni? Have you seen the level of disdain and hatred sunnis have for the shiites? Makes me wonder what they think about the rest of us that they call Infidels!! A hijab is NOT a religious dress!! It is a CULTURAL dress common in the middle east, and has NOTHING to do with how Islamic you are. Nigerian muslims don't even know the history of the thing they claim is integral to their religion, it's laughable really! Nigerian muslims need to stop majoring in the minor issues; they are protesting the use of hijab, have they ever protested the lack or deterioration of educational facilities and access to education for their faithfuls, especially up north where they are 99% illiterate? What I see is opportunity; if I was muslim, i'd build or support the setting up of purely muslim institutions where we can wear hijab and 3/4 sokoto with freedom, and speak arabic 24/7 and be doing tafsir and we can go out to pray when it's time without asking for any useless permission. This is easier and better than playing the victim card EVERY single damn time!

Let anybody lead this country but not the PDP.
What gives him the right to determine who leads the country? I see bubu's dictatorial tendencies sneak out in form of these comments from time to time. Why is he so jittery? Do your campaign, forget what the opposition is doing. APC is following the exact steps of PDP prior to their ouster, and I believe they will get the same results.

Lol. The dead comment wasn't supposed to be taken literally. For all their shitty services, I have two accounts with them.

Was just trying to explain to the fella I quoted it's not by packaging and pretty front desk girls.

At bolden, me thinks it's a result of inexperience in the part of Uzoma. He was an outsider to the system.
I'm shocked to be honest, wasn't he being groomed? I would expect he had cut his teeth in management before assuming control at DBN, seeing as he did well in previous stints as ED and DMD. I believe more info will come out prior to the acquisition and we'd know the true state of things. I truly had no idea their NPLs were that high
BusinessRe: Talks On For Access Bank To Acquire Diamond Bank by darqly(m): 11:12am On Nov 12, 2018
Aquariann:
Yinmu. Didn't you read where it was stated that Diamond officials were the ones that approached Access bank, cap in hand?

If dead Eco bank could acquire the almighty Oceanic bank, anything is possible.

Na only Pascal Dozie I dey pity. Watching his son run down an empire he built.
Ecobank was never dead, people just look at Ecobank Nigeria and fail to realize the parent company ETI is one of Africa's biggest banks.
Oceanic was a disaster waiting to occur, anyone in financial circles could see it, even them. The only mighty thing about them was their pay, Oceanic staff acquired by Eco are some of the most ill-trained and uncouth workers in the industry.
DBN focused on the wrong strategy in my opinion and were striving to enter tier one status instead of solidifying tier two status. Access bank is a proxy GTBank, and if they don't watch it, will inherit all of GT's problems with none of the innovations.
CareerRe: NNPC Drops 500 From Its Workforce For Failing Promotion Test by darqly(m): 11:04am On Nov 12, 2018
Nbote:
Dat one na their problem... How will dey pass ordinary promotion tests wen dey were all employed thru d back door... We all know NNPC and CBN recruitments are reserved for children and relatives of d political class and their partners in affluence most of which didn't follow due process...
If truth be told, this is the foundation of the problem. People being employed not based on competence, but on "letters" from oga. This is the same dearth of competence faced by several MDAs and even the armed forces and intelligence services. Why are our officers and men in NA getting thrashed on a daily basis by BH and herdsmen? Plenty of them, asides being unfit, have zero passion for the jobs they're doing. If NNPC was a private company, it'd have been shuttered down years ago and top management jailed for mismanagement and misappropriation.
PoliticsRe: 'Any Benue Person Voting APC Committing Suicide’ - Rebecca Akpedzan by darqly(m): 10:56am On Nov 12, 2018
Benue is in a conundrum, a terrible one at that. How can a useless Ortom somehow become useful because he moved to PDP? It's like Yamaha Bello moving to another party and Kogi people assuming he has received sense from the new party, kole werk!! The dense will always be dense, particularly in Nigerian politics.

They deliberately kept repeating that a muslim hospital, a muslim doctor, a muslim etc rescued her. Meanwhile, it was the same muslims that attempted to lynch her in the first instance. I don't care much for narratives that strive to be politically correct. Are we supposed to clap for muslims that rescued her or condemn those that tried to kill her?
PoliticsRe: Abba Kyari Storms Kaduna To Help Catch Killers Of Agwom Adara(photos) by darqly(m): 12:10pm On Oct 31, 2018
If we're to believe they have been awaiting his arrival to commence investigations, then most of the evidence is already tainted, tampered with or missing. 48 hours after a crime is committed is a most critical period to assess and gather intel. I wish him luck, but if he starts with El-Rufai, he'll reduce his work by 70%.

There's a history and a pattern and the same set of people involved. I don't know where Christianity entered this talk, but stupidity isn't Christianity either.

Waste of time. The killers and sponsors are there in their midst, EL-RUFAI is the coordinator in chief. The man fans embers of hate and encourages hate speech and reprisals. I gather this is the 2nd chief to be murdered from Southern Kaduna, just because he's trying to force through a trojan horse reform. I detest these people.

Ultimately, each of us will lean toward the narrative that is most sympathetic to us in one way or another. Christian or Muslim, it is wrong to take a life, and revenge is only an advance that will be repaid. The government has failed to ensure justice for aggrieved parties and this cycle will continue unfortunately.
