Farmers and ranchers? No way are they gonna be irrelevant or pay less. Some of their processes will be automated but even techies need food. |

This chap is probably one of the physically strongest humans on earth, not to mention extremely lucky! I don't know how they're gonna manage those burns though, and I cannot begin to imagine the pain he's in presently. Chai! |

Because there's a confused leader at the top, the others below can hardly be better. NNPC cannot find crude if it was the name of a street in Abuja. This is a company that LOSES money every freaking year, and still pays 'armed robber' grade salaries for being incompetent! ![]() |

Our president said they only walk around with sticks and the occasional machete. Growing up, killing police was rare, killing MOPOL was a death sentence, and killing soldier.....HA!! Now we have attackers ambushing our security agents and stealing weapons. |

Violence only ever begets violence and the innocent and helpless are often caught in between. No one deserves to die the way Nigeria allows you to die. There is never justice for the victims, and the perpetrators walk scot-free to kill another day. I really get scared looking at some people and wondering how they live with themselves after murdering another human being. 1 Like |

Esseite: Fair assessment, but I think Sowore is more "Idealistic than practical". He needs to learn some more. Dankwambo is credible but I think it's a tad too soon, and I'm not sure he'd want to go the VP route, which will groom him better. Atiku is indeed the lesser devil, but you can clearly see the difference in his education and exposure when you compare him to BlameBuhari. 3 Likes |

Remember when Femi Adeshina said the body count in their administration was still not as high as that of the past admin, Buhari is just being consistent. His daft argument is that since muslims are being killed in Zamfara, we should not view any other deaths as being specifically planned. 1 Like |

I agree with him, but it won't make much of a difference. Our leaders cannot show empathy, cannot sympathize with regular citizens because they are in a bubble of their own, paid for by the regular citizens. 1 Like |

Pataricatering: Somehow you brought pastors, robbers and christians into a post that has NOT mentioned any of them. If you can reason, answer this question; Are farmers nomadic or the herdsmen? Can a farmer carry his farmland into a herders pasture and trespass or vice versa? If you indeed decide to forage on my property, should it not be with my permission and subject to my terms? How can you feed your cattle with MY produce that I depend on for a livelihood? Answer these, then we can talk about your "pastors, robbers and christian farmers". And until such a time when farms become motorized ![]() |

It's so easy to blame the herdsmen but how many of you can withstand losses of 300 cows and above? The cattles are their only means of livelihood and it's expected to defend your business interests when threatened. The villagers are at fault for stealing those cattles. Even though i condemn killers, i think we should give the fulanis a break If we crowdfund the value of the 300 cows back, can the Fulani bring the dead back to life? As long as you justify the value of cattle as SOMEHOW more valuable than human life, we cannot have this discussion because it's still beyond your comprehension. Any one that kills children is evil, and should be condemned. |

Plateau crisis is never easy to quell once it starts. Lalong is messing around with people's lives because he must support PMB. Who else has noticed that Plateau STF commander is ALWAYS northern? One day, a rival militant group will match these fulani cowards and we'll see who blinks first. 1 Like |

Blast Furnace in Ajaokuta is not operational, how the hell is the factory back to life biko? It's wrong for this admin to lie so blatantly when people can easily verify claims in real-time. 5 Likes |

There's a special breed of foolishness spreading in my home state, it's bordering on the absurd now. Let's wait for confirmation of this comedy from official sources. The list contains quality ghost SSAs too, one appointee is named Yanky Pumping ![]() ![]() 2 Likes |

This is just inappropriate. And there are killings and attacks every week in this same Zamfara, but their focus is on young people who just want to have a good time. 1 Like |

deomelo: Whoever made the crop duster comparison must've really touched a raw nerve, seeing as you're attributing it to Everyone! Like I said, calm down, then share your view. My only reference to the Tucanos was their purchase, which was handled poorly by FG. |

deomelo: If you'd not been too hasty to show patriotic fervour, you'd have known that my inference to SA renting out hardware and mercenaries is clearly black market operations, not officially authorised. Secondly, you can show your LOVE for Nigeria without being a jerk-off, they're not mutually exclusive. You counter every contrary opinion here with abuse where you can just share a more superior argument. 1 Like |

SSGN: I have no problem with NAF upgrading, it's long overdue and current chief of air staff is progressive. The question is why the zero sum game pronouncements? Why are we keen to overtake anyone, when we're not anywhere close to full combat capability? Let them run their race, let's run ours. Ethiopian airlines didn't set out to overtake Nigeria airways, have they not left the continent behind? Just an analogy. |

docadams: Countries that have improved significantly in various spheres did so by first mapping out a path or strategy. The improvement or success is just a byproduct. What's our air power strategy? Common tucano that we purchased caused international outrage, our NAF pilots have cataracts or are mercenaries cos they bomb friendly or civilian targets REGULARLY. Our fighter jets don't get shot down by insurgents but they still manage to crash regularly. SA can rent you F-16s for the right price, with pilots to boot. Let's focus on our locally made pencils first, they're cheaper, safer and they don't crash. 1 Like 1 Share |

I was hurt, because then i had needs and wants. But i was not tempted to use the money. No bro, you had GREED. How can needs suddenly sprout when you see money that ain't yours? If you hadn't returned the cash, I can assure you that you wouldn't have enjoyed spending it, cos with BVN, ALL your accounts are available at a glance to ANY financial institution that requests it. You ought to be placed on a watchlist for even transferring more than what you actually took to the bank. |

Whilst it's ideal to draw up a path you want your career to take, it still depends on which financial institution you work for. Some will rotate you once you're deployed from training, others won't. The units you listed are head office units, if you get posted to a branch, you're doing operations or business banking strictly. If you're certified already, you can make a case for being retained at HO, otherwise you'll need to convince HR later, still depends on the bank and if staff policies are friendly. It's smart to specialize, but opt for a unit where you have more strength and interest. Bar a few options, you soon begin to do your job by rote and it becomes mundane. Wish you all the best ![]() |

HeyCorleone: You don't support theft but the boys should be left alone to continue stealing? Clearly you support crime. There's no justification for stealing, whether you live in Switzerland or Nigeria. A boy can borrow a device, scrounge for data and DECIDE to steal, and you still claim he has no choice? The other citizens that decide not to steal are ALL rich abi, living on banana island and flexing? This debate has only two sides, no gray areas. You either steal or you don't; You either support theft or you're against it. 6 Likes 1 Share |
