At the end of the day, whose land is being polluted? Whose water is contaminated? Who suffers the environmental degradation? ND is just cutting off its nose to spite its face- Either way, they lose. A few greedy individuals band together, blow up a few pipelines, issue a cut n paste statement and collect ransom money. Is this the resource control you're agitating for? Do you have potable water, adequate healthcare, social benefits and access to education presently? This oil is no longer a bargaining chip, and quite frankly, I foresee the ND bearing the brunt of their ignorance in the near future. |
Equalizer:Seems everybody betrayed GEJ, I won't be surprised if he divorces his wife and sacks Sambo at this rate. The PDP just doesn't want to admit that GEJ was and still is the cause of their present state. We're not complaining though, let them keep sabotaging their party, whilst GMB gets to work. |
Yawn- These guys are getting monotonous already, and it's just the 29th of April ![]() Despite having their 'son' in power, I can't see that their lot improved significantly. Everyone is just after his own 30 pieces of silver. Do you really imagine Dokubo, having tasted of Abuja poisoned chalice, will now don battle fatigues and enter the creeks? How about if he gets killed by mistake? ![]() |
deletrue:For the first part above, you're an ignorant oaf for insulting me and whoever raised me. Only a fool insults his parents or parents of another, but this is consistent with GEJ supporters, Ode ![]() For the second part, let me school you a bit. It was Lawal Kaita, a PDP member, that 'openly told the world' that they'd be no peace if GEJ wins. And since your president has no balls, the man was never arrested or invited for a chat. Google is your friend, stop being a slow poke. |
SeverusSnape:Obviously #teamGEJismyhero has hit the ground running ![]() At least let May 29 pass first before you begin to shoot, 4yrs is a long-time oh. Opposition ain't a sprint, it's a marathon. |
8 SUVs for just 4 people. How many sets of buttocks do they have between them? Yet he owes salaries, the cheek of it..Pun intended ![]() |
deletrue:He was nominated as their so-called spokesperson. Show us where he ever accepted their request. Secondly, where were you when Alex Badeh announced Nigeria had agreed a truce with BH, and Chibok girls were to be returned? On national television mind you! Who did he sign ceasefire agreement with? We know who created BH, just as it took him just 6wks to contain them.. ![]() Wallow in your self inflicted bondage, it's amusing and amazing to watch... ![]() |
Ozigbondu:"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence." - Napoleon Bonaparte GEJ was as useless as a lamppost far as steering the affairs of the nation was concerned. It's clowns like you that kept lying to him that there was this 'grand conspiracy' against his government ostensibly because he's minority, wears a bowler hat, has a PhD and is from a certain part of the nation. If any group can so conveniently hinder a sitting president from performing ALL of his duties, then said president deserves to be chucked out of office. 4yrs is a long-time, you'll soon grow weary of bashing your head against every available wall.. ![]() |
san316:Till PDP is willing and able to reorient it's core values and mission from 'Come chop' and develop some much needed common sense, they are set to become Africa's lamest opposition. Jonathan will NEVER win even exco elections in the future.. ![]() |
1stola:If you were that gainfully employed, you wouldn't be on this thread, let alone boast about your salary. He has passed on useful info to those in need, if you have evidence that all he posted are lies, kindly provide it ![]() |
ShowYourCertificate:Interesting. And you're proud of GEJ cos of his performance evidently Not because you were scared of being islamized. Even your handle exposes the sort of campaign you were running. Please remind GEJ to #carryhisPHD as he proceeds to Otuoke ![]() |
AKMoney1:I was beginning to wonder if this isn't the same PDP and their robot support group that hurled invectives at GMB whatever chance they could get. TANoids should grow some shame at least, four years is a loooong time to keep crying over spilt milk. Thank God for FFK, Okupe, Fayose, NTA and AIT for their character assassination and mud smearing campaign; speaks massive volumes that an illiterate General was able to outfox a PhD holding incumbent.. ![]() |
SeverusSnape:Interesting. Were you privy to a plan by the so called northern savages? Oddly enough, and sadly too, the killings were down south- where the 'educated and enlightened' ones reside... ![]() |
PHCN and I suspect my son, crashed my PS3 about 3mths ago If I get a good bargain, I'll probably get the PS4 in a few weeks whilst they work on the good ol PS3. I'm addicted to everything with MoH or CoD in the title, esp the world war series! MW3 online was a mad experience too |
I wonder which poor sod gets to play FFK in the movie... ![]() |
Op, not to sound pedagogical, but your style of writing is one of the reasons I'm following your posts. The grammar is proper and very few typos, plus the content is totally enriching! I've not commented before now because I'm still on page one, this stuff is truly informative. It's good to see someone treading the path you're on, I'm a FinTech Entrepreneur just starting a company. I'll chip in more and ask a few questions as the need arises and also share a few of my resources. Keep up the good work ![]() |
grafikii:I can't believe u remember 2b... best used for mathematics. |
nortcentrallord:I take it from the above that it's PDP that plays by the rules of democracy abi? A party that failed to even hold a semblance of primaries and is instead awarding nomination tickets to its cronies. What is a shock abssover? Some analogy there... ![]() |
Whynotthetruth:I see. In your wisdom, it's alright for the president to embrace controversy and foist a probable criminal on the Nigerian state because of constitutional democracy? There's verifiable evidence linking Obanikoro to election fraud, and if GEJ was sensible, he'd order an investigation FIRST. Does it not worry you that our president has a thing for fraudsters, convicts and criminals in his cabinet? |
I wonder why Shekau and his killers are in hiding when the FG will probably award them a revolving contact to secure the Northeast borders and protect Nigerian citizens... ![]() |
Calculia:DSTV isn't ministry of culture and tribal affairs, they're here to make money! Igbo actors and actresses are aplenty in nollywood and it's igbo marketers that sell the bulk of these movies as well, so this your conspiracy theory is dead on arrival. If there's demand, DSTV will supply it. But if it irks you so much, launch your own. |
I'm sure the presidency even doubts today's date.. ![]() |
This story just doesn't add up. A woman with a beard sticks out more than a normal man with or without one, so what's the disguise this fool was wearing? And what manner of interrogation is this by rank and file, casually seated in some back office or camp? Too many half truths for me. |
Fact is Nigerian banks don't have the tech to detect most counterfeit naira bills. Even the CBN have circulated dodgy notes occasionally. Atms cannot detect counterfeit notes either, at least not the old school models we're using. If it's not spotted by the sorting machine prior to being loaded in the terminals, you'll get a fake. Forget that cctv footage, unless it somehow captured the serial nos of the notes as they were dispensed. The bank should've borne the loss, and more importantly, they shouldn't have questioned your integrity. I'm watching to see who blinks first. |
I beg to disagree jor ...These are NOT Hausa girls. They NEVER flash bustlines like this, can't happen, even if the wedding is on Mars. And Hausa girls are damn finer than this lot.... ![]() |
NDA...had to write the exams twice and was willing to quit university in my third year just to be a cadet in 2000 Just when you think you've made it, they reel you in. Funny how life pans out... |
I cannot begin to fathom the depths of depravity our society has descended to. A democratically elected president is going through a step by step plan to manipulate elections and all the vast majority can do is 'hail' him for being such a 'genius' and applaud the move as a master stroke. Are we so warped that our morals are now non-existent even in the face of glaring fraud and abuse of office? And some here will still claim to be devout followers of their respective faiths at every given opportunity. How does this bode well for our democracy or the peace and stability of the nation? His actions just smack of sheer desperation, and that is the type that plunges nations into chaos. Truly it's disappointing ![]() |
gbl01:The guy who comes last is probably a Nigerian who has a sense of entitlement. NOBODY gives you anything, you have to reach out and TAKE it. Nigeria has influence in africa which is why what happens in Nigeria matters to the sub-region and the world at large. It makes sense for them to ally with you rather than isolate you. Question- If the US stopped commerce with Nigeria, who'd lose more? They already don't need our crude, and last I looked, their economy is growing and creating jobs. How's ours doing?? The US is not the problem, it's wanting to lay the blame at every other person's doorstep asides our own that has gotten us to the mire we're presently in. |
gbl01:The bolded makes me laugh out loud literally . We should be proud of our country but not tell ourselves bedtime stories. Of all countries in the world and indeed africa, the US sees Nigeria as a competitor |
Davido looks as bored as a plank in those photos though.... ![]() |
Too many juvenile delinquents on nairaland these days. Look how many of you are beating war drums, chanting 'nobody has monopoly of violence', like you can do s**t when the chips are down. Too much tv have you thinking war is glamorous and death is glitzy. Many here have NEVER heard the sound of Live gunfire; I assure you the trauma lasts a lifetime. It turns many a man into a shivering mess, not knowing his left from his right. |
rubey:It's simple- Men don't approach you, Boys do. You probably didn't buy the car yourself, Boys are apt to feel intimidated as they have little to offer and sweet talk can only take you so far. No man is intimidated, whether he has a car or not. |
