When you ask Mavdroids where the 30% comes from, you hear 'U don't understand the system'. Ok, Mavdroids, explain the system, you hear 'Go to the website'. I work in finance, ANYBODY that invested in MMM has fraudulent tendencies, QED. Taking money for doing nothing is an aberration far as value creation is concerned. I haven't heard any Mavdroid testify that MMM money helped setup a business, no! Instead, you bought a car, or married or travelled or just spent it lavishly. And this is the real tragedy in making money you haven't earned. I'm not sorry for anyone who lost money or got divorced or got physically assaulted or sacked for MMM returns- It was well and truly deserved ![]() Nigerians lost money now, they will still lose money next time cos we think we are sharp. Long live MMM jor, it's not easy to be a fool these days. |
Oga OP, you obviously participated in the scheme, so stop trying too hard to appear disinterested. I see as you attack EVERYONE that has a negative view to MMM ![]() This is entirely your business anyway. You forgot to include the 4th set of group of people affected by MMM- our dear participants, the GPA (greedy people's association) and the unscrupulous. This scheme has revealed the majority of our people to be blatant hypocrites and cheats. Yes! Only a cheat, a thief, takes money that doesn't belong to him and feigns ignorance of the source. You don't sell a product or offer a service but you accept 30% as returns on investment? And you see nothing morally wrong with the transaction to boot? Not everyone who speaks out is envious of your petty profit, some people do have a sense of wrong vs right in the end, even if we don't always choose what is right. MMM exposed how gullible, lazy and generally imbalanced a large number of Nigerians are, even those posturing as adherents of one religion or another. Keep praying for your beloved MMM to unfreeze come January. And before you and your ilk come baying for blood, just explain to us, in one sentence, how your money increases by 30% during the PH, GH, FH or WTH you folks call it. ![]() |
Just ensure the savings account was opened with CBN authorized identification i.e- International passport, National ID, Permanent Voters card or National driving license. If it wasn't opened with any of the above, account may require an update once such sum is paid in. Customer should also have documents relating to the transaction as evidence of source of funds, in case the bank needs to verify during due diligence. It is normal for it to be reported to regulatory bodies as a qualifying transaction but account won't be frozen or access hindered once the above are complete. |
okenwa:Bad idea. Account will be flagged for suspicious transactions, and will be monitored for no plausible reason. |
Another useless dweeb foisted on Kogi state by unfortunate circumstances. The so called youth aren't any better by the look of things! As broke as the state is, he still travelled out, with aides ![]() |
claremont:What you should have found out was how long he spent as major, before insisting the promotion is not accelerated. Battlefield promotions are not bound by the usual requirements or length of service, so if he was promoted to major last year and this year became a Lt Col, I daresay that is accelerated. |
finalboss1:@ work, and was managing to stifle laughter while reading comments, till you posted this ![]() You need to stop this ![]() |
bonechamberlain:You need to start having Common sense too. Not everything is North VS South or PDP VS APC |
First off, this is most unhygienic The Naira is a festering bed of disease and bacteria. Some of us who handle large volumes of it, know what we've come down with periodically.Secondly, the innocent tot was named LANESRA Spell it backwards to know what he was actually named!! Poor lad will probably take 4th position forever. |
Mayflowa:I don't believe you actually wrote this, but then, this must be exactly how Wike rationalized the appointment. Please let me know when they're recruiting for SA on Signposts ![]() |
kabrud:What was the insult involved? Can you tell us? or is it so INSULTIVE that we cannot hear it repeated? Your people call others infidels, kafir and arnawa- NOBODY kills you or attacks you. But if someone make mistake mispronounce prophet name, you will carry knife. Oga, neither you nor the killers you're supporting are true adherents of your faith! ![]() Killing in God's name is the peak of infidelity, and the fact that you see NOTHING wrong in it, is the reason why it will continue, and is the reason why the WHOLE will always look at islam with trepidation and mistrust. Continue ![]() |
kabrud:Oga, must you kill? What sort of religion is that? Is it endorsed in your Quran? |
kabrud:So who has the problem evidently? Something is wrong with people who accept its ok to kill for their religion. If you read it and understood it abit, you'd see that you killers even kill yourselves in your frenzy ![]() |
sarzy:Lol, where'd you drag this up from? He's actually proved me wrong no doubt- being a regular fixture at Chelsea under several managers can't be fluke. Final answer? Okocha- Brazen, assured on the ball one-on-one, talented, fleet-footed game-changer. Mikel- Confident, risk-averse, can be counted upon, didn't turn out to be our Messi as predicted. |
Izonpikin:We need export proceeds, and it can come from sources other than crude. Once that begins, the ND has to change its negotiation tactics, militancy will be irrelevant and called what it really is- Criminal. We are where we are because we thought high crude prices would last forever + who would believe other nations would find their own crude? My argument is crude isn't the savior any more, globally too. ND seems to be oblivious of this fact. |
Maybe northerners are still buying rice at 9k per bag or fuel at subsidized rate or dollar at 157. If this is the case, then he has a point ![]() |
Izonpikin:This is delusional. What's with the idea that some group or region own the country? Or that the country can't survive without ND? In all this, you've conveniently omitted the fact that oil is no longer a game changer globally- Everybody has it and it's damn cheap too. ND will learn sooner than later that oil is not the panacea to their ills. All I see is a legit attempt at resource control being hijacked by criminals and murderers under the guise of militancy. I'm certain you don't drink crude when you're hungry, neither do I. So you ain't feeding nobody mate! |
RichYoungNigga:That is debatable. Meanwhile, who is the richest Igbo businessman in Nigeria, and where has he placed his village or state at least on the Nigerian map for starters... |
SeverusSnape:On the one hand, you acknowledge Kachikwu as having done a good job; on the other you've refused to acknowledge that his new position affords him better oversight and more control, which may eventually translate to PMB having made a shrewd move. Secondly, NNPC being in the black has little to do with the global price of crude versus Nigeria's domestic price. In case you haven't noticed, the cost of refining, transporting and other landing costs don't exactly go hand in hand with per barrel cost. You'd need to reappraise your argument accordingly. By and large, what he did was reduce waste and plug pilfering in NNPC. Nowhere else in the world will you find an oil company declaring losses back to back yet paying staff industry grade wages and bonuses, and still recruiting! |
AZeD1:Download CBN guidelines for mobile money operators and you'll see that use of airtime as a means of exchange of value is indeed prohibited. He's correct. |
wowmenow:And it's old because you say so ? Please pics of him being smuggled in then or.....you know the drill ![]() |
If not for God, the man would have killed me. Luckily for me, the trigger fired and I shot the man. You see that even criminals attribute their success to some higher being! The cheek of it.... ![]() |
AntiWailer:Whilst this is true, you shouldn't distribute the footage willy nilly. Some smart crooks now avert their faces at ATM points to avoid being captured by the cameras. |
deeplow:On the contrary, if every muslim killed, every christian would have to defend themselves. ![]() You don't expect we'd sit and wait in patience till it's our turn to be killed, do you?? ![]() |
MRSALT:But you know what you assert above is a LIE right? Please provide evidence (even a link will do) of periods Nigeria had NO FOREIGN RESERVE, and crude sold for as low as $35. Everybody wants to claim finance expert online overnight ![]() If you do not understand, the banks are indirectly saying 'there is no money' because people are withdrawing cash from their accounts in order to buy dollars from the black markets . Now, banks have no dollars to sell and they have no cash to give you.Another BOGUS claim!! How much dollar have you personally gone to buy with Naira that you withdrew from your account?? You think every other person you meet on the ATM queue is withdrawing to buy dollar? To what effect and for what reason? My brother people are just trying to survive, not all of us engage in ROUNDTRIPPING . The article is self explanatory- It's more cost effective to have more bank customers use alternative channels rather than come into the banking hall physically, and it also means encouraging people to carry less cash. |
Movic1:Don't display such crass ignorance In your mind, ALL Hausa are Muslims? Are all Yoruba also Ifa adherents? And are all Igbo Catholics? I'm Hausa, and Christian. Deal with it. |
blackmatter007:For the first line i highlighted, I think you've chosen a poor analogy using countries like the former Soviet Union and the Arab spring. Written in properly established CONfederation constitutions is the right to sovereignty by member states or republics, true federations DO NOT confer that right on member states. I'm not aware the USSR dissolved as a result of resource control, it was due more to differences in ideology and the right to self government based on ethnicity, history and culture. The struggle in ND has always been overtaken by selfish individual interests, which is why troupe after troupe of self-styled emancipation warriors emerge every few years, cause enough damage to be heard and GET some for themselves- End of struggle. Just watch this same scenario play out. For the second line, I see you're also of the opinion that it somehow makes sense or it's possible for Nigeria to cease to exist as a Nation. Whilst this scenario is not farfetched, there are far more cons that pros. And most of us fail to realize this, so I marvel when people, especially on SM or in casual banter drop the 'Let Nigeria just divide' cliche. If there will be No Nigeria, my brother there will be NO US, as simple as that. North and South Sudan are currently in that mire, watch them fight till eternity. ND kids itself on it's ability to rely solely on Crude and thinks it can go it alone. SE is even more pitiable, because here is a region that is TOTALLY landlocked, dependent on commerce with other Nigerians to survive and who do not have a history of coexisting with each other as one tribe. The North and SW just echo the same chorus from time to time, so as not to be seen as laggards, but their agitations are neither here nor there in my opinion. For the third line, what has the respondent's ethnicity got to do with being smart or expressing an opinion? If this was our sole yardstick, even you would be guilty ![]() |
timokoko:Truly, the levels of stupidity on display especially on Nairaland should give one cause to worry. |
Common spell check, they can't do. Yet they want to 'Carve' their own country! WTF is One Pounds? When they come to grips with Photoshop, then maybe we can take them seriously! |
Appland:This is NOT true. Some banks have formatted their credit and debit alerts to exclude your balance. |
The press release explicitly states that the governor APPROVED the appointment, not that the governor APPOINTED the Oba of Benin. They haven't told us who did the APPOINTING, just that it was approved! So much ado about nothing really, just a lot of angry people EVERYWHERE these days ![]() |

, northerners playing politics with human life. Hmm. These people have no value for human life.
