@tolu, you will spend infinity correcting impressions of your religion but actions speak far louder. History shows the despicable acts of muslims in northern nigeria and unless you want to claim sheer ignorance, you just can't disprove these facts. Whenever the killings want to start in Jos,we hear the ladan calling prayers @ awkward times and your adherents assemble and arm themselves before pouncing on hapless innocents.Before bukuru market was looted and burned, your mosque was the gathering point that evening btw 10-12midnite. And you're telling us your religion forbids violence ke? I don't know what variant of islam you people practice in nigeria but it sure as hell isn't the way to paradise. Have u seen the dismembered and mutilated corpses in the aftermath of each massacre organized by muslims? What drives a man to KILL a fellow being,in such a vicious manner, in the name of religion? Why don't christians or animists wake up and kill their neighbours occasionally, have u thought to ask? Forget your lame excuse about iliteracy and poverty as the root cause- I have a learned uncle that rejoiced when 9/11 occured. His teenage daughter was aghast and she's presently questioning more and more her faith in this religion and its tenets. In case you don't know, a northern muslim would sooner kill you than a christian- in jos they refer to your type as 'munafiki'- ask your hausa friends to translate. I guess it goes without saying, but even the bible says there is a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. The average northern nigerian muslim is a godless murderer and this has been proven time and again. No muslim, no matter how HOLY, will condemn his ummah for killing a so-called infidel or christian.The FGN has shown it's willing to sacrifice the rest of Nigeria whenever these heathen get their bloodletting urges, case in point is Jos. Why corpers? Nobody harms a stranger that comes to you for help- it's so unholy and totally inexcusable.God alone can give these families solace, and we will do well to pray for strength for them. I fear GEJ is too weak as a leader, the next few days will be a foreward to what we can expect for the next 4yrs. If you're a non-muslim anywhere in the north, basic weapons training is a neccesity; every other mallam you pass on the street has shed innocent blood.

Needless to say, they silently endorse these acts of terror and mindless violence.I'm part hausa, the hausas I grew up with displayed the most indellible acts of sacrifice and compassion that shaped my formative years. But then, perhaps because they were family, or educated or not miserably poor as the bulk of most hausas are today.For me,the deadly,violent, virulent strain of islam prevalent in northern nigeria is to blame;the north will self destruct eventually, it's a question of WHEN.

And a rubbish assertion if ever i read one,how can PDP's loss be equated to Jonathan's trustworthiness? Nigeria is due for change and PDP is NOT the vehicle to take us there, so the people- and not GEJ- should be commended for going a different direction. In my opinion, genuine muslims have not done enough to curtail the spread of radicalism and misintepretation of their religion- this makes them complicit! I live in Jos and with what has been going on there, it's ok to just HATE all muslims, truly I have every excuse. But I remember the ones I grew up with, practically shared homes with and recall their sincerity, honesty and true friendship. The onus lies on true adherents of Islam to expose the evil amongst them, anything less and you all stand the risk of being isolated and some day, soon enough, the hunter will become the hunted.

I just arrived Jos to see my family, real ghost town, and this on Christmas day. Some really daft and cowardly muslims did this, so sad but then we reap what we sow in the end.
