@dipo- better squad ke?? Have u looked @ your bench lately? After starting 11,name 3 game changers u have left. If Nasiru and Theo-inconsistent-walcot are de best Arsene can bring to de game, flappy Handski better be prepared to pick @ least 3 from de back of the net. We're in countdown mode, see u after we bag 3pts!! |
Here we go again. Gunners can't beat United if they needed 3pts to avoid relegation. Rooney to break his goal drought in this game,'SamirA Nasri'- in Da Silva's back pocket. |
I vaguely recall a thread where someone suggested that men only date rich girls or at least, girls that are @ par with ur status or income band. I have no grouse with blokes that're freehanded nor do i begrudge babes with gargantuan appetites for shiny stuff BUT by all means if I'm buying u diamonds from Tiffany's, the least u can do is get me a set of titanium plated golf clubs, or Longines- If its good for de goose, must be good for de gander. Jimmy Choo ko, Jerry Springer ni. |
eghehibor is that mileage corrcet @ all? and please what's wrong with this vehicle i.e reason for selling? |
What do you expect from 'cut n paste' journalism? I think there should be an improvement to the definition of plagiarism as far as Nigerian journalists and editors are involved. I recall back then they'd at least have the decency and courtesy to append 'culled from-'. These days our papers just lift entire portions(from online sources) verbatim and damn the consequences! |
@sizzler- 'abunna' is bastardized hausa slang for 'privates'. In actual usage it means 'Thing' so actually not far off it's informal meaning lol. Hausa girls, kai, touchy subject. I'm part hausa and bear a hausa name but look or sound nothing like hausa so i NEVER got a fair hearing from hausa chicks. 4get the hijab, a girl's a girl and will do what ALL girls do- eventually. Enjoy ur lapdance for now mate, tis more than i ever got! |
informative thread turned to conspiracy theorists hangout. one thing's evident,we're suspicious of each other as a people. Where did Iran come into this fray? Maybe what we need is ONE common enemy, and we can ALL focus our attention thataway. We know hausas are wicked, yorubas are cowards and igbos are treacherous, goes without saying, so can't we just get along ? |
Why don't i believe one jot of this cock n bull, nollywood-esque story?? Where did you pick up "inferiority complex" that you're labelling half of the forumites with? |
I saw de obit in the dailies and thot how sad for someone so young to leave so soon. Never knew she was a staff of SCB. I know for a fact that organizations will pay only part of a salary during extended illness but the attitude of the leaders involved leaves much to be desired. Really sad. |
Well u can either tell him outright how u feel about him, or just wait for the next chappy to propose and you agree to marry him. If you do the former, you don't lose a thing and can be happy here on earth. You settle for the latter, you'll never know what might have been between you two. Tis up to you. |
U never know with women. Don't know what they want when they want, but fine boy no dough just won't hack it these days. |
Tracey,u shouldn't have plastered rymzo the way u did though it does reveal where some of ur deficiencies lie. 25 isn't BAD at all, my aunt is over 40 and still single! The attributes u listed earlier are predominantly physical; the firt gifts nature gives to humans. Sadly, these are also the FIRST qualities nature takes away-ur man's six pack will become a lopsided onepack and the biceps won't defy gravity till eternity. By all means,be physically attracted to each other, but u won't have us believe u're shaped like a coke bottle, with flawless skin, jetblack long hair with a voice like velvet If u are(in de offchance),we'd have to see it to believe it. |
What will the northern elders do when pdp fails to restrain GEJ? Look at the calibre of those that represent the north even. For pdp,the end is nigh, never much cared for the evil party anyway. |
Makes for interesting reading bu abit too tabloid-like to be believed. |
This is similar to a masterpiece that leaked from fbn sometime in 2007. But unless he's sure of himself and his resources,it doesn't usually augur well to badmouth ur former employers. That said, I know a handful of glo staff that'll actually pat him on the back for a job well done! |
I wouldn't say his analysis is entirely wrong though;Nigeria does seem quite indifferent to whom emerges as president at the moment. Instead of categorizing the situation as us 'being on the brink', I'd rather go with us being 'on the verge of a paradigm shift'. The pdp is in total disarray-a very welcome development that may yet lead to a darkhorse candidate pulling off a smash n' grab victory. |
Just what the hell is the people's parliament in the first place?? |
Just heard this morning, really dreadful news. But then if the sss cannot bring the killers to book, then its really gonna be a kill-fest come elections! |
Well its a pity the burning was called off. But one thing has been reaffirmed though, the world is awake to the hypocrisy, violence and hate that islam propagates. And this they accomplished single handedly. |
The responses here have been shocking to say the least! Majority of respondents would take money knowing full well that it's not theirs. This mirrors our character as a people and sadly, shows that we are morally bankrupt and also dirt-poor. Let's assume he did take the money or some of it, he'd have left someone in a lurch and probably cost some people their jobs. Some of you belive banks just have cash to toss around so they won't miss a couple of billions, lol. As a customer,he reserves every right to question the lodgement but the fact remains that the money isn't his. The bank made a mistake and reversed same, case closed. Let's turn the tables abit- assume his account was debited not credited erroneously; I bet the same set of sorry losers would tell him to sue the bank. This is the worldwide web, and we're spewing our apparent love for ill acquired wealth, and we wonder why the rest of the world look at us funny when we say we're Nigerians! |
@defence,u are asking for a lengthy and uncomfortable stay in sss detention! Desist from this rubbish scam now. Sss doesn't accept cvs online nor does it charge application fees. |
@ Akin-The ogori-magongo people supposedly have their origins from ife, traced back to one great ancestor named Unagongo. The amazing part is ogori and magongo are 2 seperate entities STILL, with different dialects but shared cultural heritage and traditions. I am magongo, we speak a language called osayin which is quite similar to what some parts of edo yoruba speak. Generally our second language is yoruba, but as i didn't grow up at home, i just have a mishmash of both and speak hausa fluently, having been raised in northern nigeria. Feel free to ask any questions, i'll answer what i can and hazard de rest, lol. Cheers. |
Truth is i never even heard of her till CNN featured her on African Voices. Don't think i'll go outta my way to get her music though. |
My ordeal began in April of this year. All i wanted to do was have my share certs verified so i could have them in my cscs account. Nearly 4mths and an endless mail trail later,i'm nowhere near achieving my goals. From the rudeness of their switchboard operator(who squawks ello ello all the frigging time) to the bumbling inefficiency of the core staff. The brokers i use aver that only fbn registrars have no inkling of turn-around time so they can take all year doing a simple transaction. More to come as it unfolds. |
Wait na, isn't this book supposed to be written by Chimamanda? Or what am i reading? |
eldee- how far with de code? You're making this thing super exclusive oh! |
Guys, 40th Street is late ![]() Someone please send the code, I'm online. |
I personally fancy women that're witty and can hold their own in intellectual discourse. At that point, the attraction is beyond physical. I heard of a desperate lady who started watching cnn avidly cos her partner implied she was uninformed on recent world events, lol. |
This is what power does to a man. Even common governors cause delays for flights let alone this agbero. |
But seriously,Aliyu is one of the more proactive and intelligent governors from the North. This coming from him means just about anyone has a price. |
@german- No contest, you're the Best! @consensus- you have the baddest, meanest, wickedest machine of them all! Fantastic ride,I wanna be like you when I grow up,lol. |
Greedy thieving cheapskates. That's all committees are good for anyway, they ought to be shot. |
