Religion / Please I Need An Answer,is Heaven Real? by darren20(m): 10:02pm On Dec 02, 2010
Hi Folks,
I've been wondering lately,Is heaven real? is it true that it's a great place, where there won't be night and day?,you will not have to work, there would be no problem there,e.t.c.
If so,why are xtians afraid to die, since they will go to this heaven.
at least it was written in the bible that enoch and elijah didn't die because God took them.
Why do xtians weep for the dead since they know they're going to a better place and they will soon meet with them.
Why do xtian leaders keep on acquaring wealth upon wealth as if they will not die.(don't you think even if they acquire this wealth if they truly believe in heaven, they will use this wealth to cater for the poor).I guess they themselves are not too sure about this heaven.
At least we know that suicide bombers believe that they will inherit 7 virgins when they die grin
Can the xtians in the house discuss this please.
Thanks.

I will not trade words with you,but I feel that if the best that yewa awori can present as a candidate is this guy, then yewa awori is not yet ready to govern ogun state.

Politics / Re: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by darren20(m): 9:24am On Mar 26, 2010
, So much for a Nigerian mindset !,when has a driving a taxi become so profitable as to warrant a debate on nairaland? it shows how intelligent Nigerian minds are,Ever wonder why 98% could fail a National school certificate exam?,it's all about money isn't it?,terrible !,Until Nigerians began to change their mindsets, things ( corruption,419 etc) will always remain the way it is.''Adenuga only drove a taxi in the US during his university days to raise funds for his tuition fees''. Having a Phd or Master's degree while making a career out of taxi driving is a curse,Pls get your mindset clear.

Religion / I'm Disappointed In All Nigerian Pentecostal Preachers. by darren20(m): 1:16pm On Jan 12, 2010
At the time when Nigerians are groaning and needs a voice concerning all the activities of the thieving politicians, all pentescostal preachers with the exception of few like Tunde Bakare are busy expanding their businesses and calling for more tithe.this is indeed a shame,it take only a non pentecostal pastor Rt Rev J Akinola of the Anglican Church to Cry out to the Politician's face about their injustices and all sorts they've been doing to Nigerians.

Politics / Re: Is President Yar'adua Dead? by darren20(m): 3:30pm On Sep 04, 2008
The Fed Exec.in Nigeria have for the past 2wks denying the fact that The Pres.has been sick, this is quite shameful, even with fact, they've not deem it fit enough to clarify this, will it now be proper at least from foreigner's view point that Nigerians cannot trust trusted?

they are mostly paid labourers or like someone rightly said here, a rented crowd.
if you conduct a search there u will simply find out that most of them do not even know why they were there.
the thieving organisation of nigeria(TON) have succeeded in uselessing the masses with a very powerful instrument called hunger so that a hungry person can stand on the way of a moving train just to eat.
they are very powerful but God is more powerful than them.
at least a couple of months back, bode george will be the last person to believe that an ordinary woman will pick him like a goat mearnt for the big market day.
wow! the end is not yet here. my birthday will surely be changed to that date mr obj will be picked like his fellow robbers

Travel / Visiting Nigeria After 17years,please Advice! by darren20(m): 1:01pm On May 19, 2008
Hi All,
I will be visiting Nigeria after 17years and i'm really scared!with all the news about armed robberies, corruption etc, though I've actually prepare myself, but I still need an advice from Nigerians on what to do,how to behave etc,First and foremost i'm not the type that offers bribe,I intend to finally relocate back home within the next 4yrs,and I'm on like fact finding mission as regard establishing an industry at home,I heard one must offer bribe to policemen even if you did not commit an offence, and that you might be locked up if you refuse,an example was a lagos state police commissioner in mufti, that was arrested and was about to be locked up for refusing to give bribe,I heard that even Efcc ask for bribe, and that the airport immigration etc are not spared.I've over the years realize that there's actually no place like home, but inthis current scenario, how can i keep myself? What do i do to protect myself even as the police are not reliable?
Please do advice?
Thanks.
Politics / Re: 'My Power Project Story' By Olusegun Obasanjo by darren20(m): 12:31pm On May 13, 2008
Until Nigerians themselves realize the real situations they are in,and the effects on the generations to come, they will rise up and demand for change.there's no messiah anywhere,Nigerians are their own messiah.Talking or arguments etc will not bring a change.
Do have a great day!
Politics / Re: Let Nigerian's Prepare For War! by darren20(m): 12:32pm On May 01, 2008
@algood.
I hope the time will come when Nigerians will wake up and demand for their right,I hope the time will come, but history has proved oherwise Nigerians as you well know are used to managing, suffering and smilling and at the same time praying to God for deliverance.Indeed the whole Africa,it's still like a mystery to me imagine what's being happening in zimbabwe, yet some locals are still praying that mugabe should stay on!quite unbelievable!
Well I pray it turns out well for Nigeria but until it's citizens demand a change, nothing will happen.
Cheers.
Travel / @vicjustice And Other Nigerians Based In Ireland. by darren20(m): 12:15pm On May 01, 2008
Hi,
I've noticed a trend among Nigerian living in ireland that a large percentage of them now drive cabs, and i often wonder why?I've had to discuss with a lot of them lately, and i discover that many are quite educated (degree holders) and are entitled to work and live in ireland.some used to be bankers in Nigeria while some used to be lecturers,I think Ireland had make it very easy for anyone determined to get on professionally provided they have necessary skills.I still don't know or I've not been able to come to the conclusion why almost all Nigerians want to drive taxi,Please enlighten me.

Politics / Re: Where Is Yaradua by darren20(m): 6:55pm On Apr 24, 2008
Why do you care so much about Y'aradua ?Do you want to die for him or something, the man has with entourage/medical staff been enjoying themselves in Germany most probably with their loot, whatever happen to his 7 points economic agenda which includes unrealisable health for all by year 2020? or whatever,do you know how many Nigerians suffering from worse condition than Y'aradua who has no acess good health?why can't he empower the hospital in Nigeria, funny enough it's still the same Nigerian trained  doctors based in germany that he could not cater for ,that will still treat him in Germany!
Whatever happens to y'aradua.
