Enough of this hype. I understand how morally bankrupt our music industry is, but every singer has a niche targeted to his fans. I'm not trying to glorify fraudsters in any way. But the artist in question is just doing his job, by calling out names in order to make ends meet for shows.

Lets face it, yahoo yahoo has now been order of the day with or without "living things" song.

On a final note, i would love to stress the fact that YAHOO is quiet different from the likes of kidnapping, Robbery, 419 and et el. Yahoo is literally outstanding in its meaning. Absolutely unique but kinda ambiguous to the naive ones. Nigerian politicians are fraudsters (political yahoo), Some Pastors are fraudsters, an average Nigerian has that mentality of defrauding people in a way if opportune. Of recent, the commissioner of police, Lagos state had a meeting with 'Investor Bj' - a Yahoo boy. Their pictures went viral in social media, where was Falz and co'? E money, although now legit usually have a meeting with Jagaban of Lagos state- Tinubu. Mopha, Bnaira, Hush pupi, Mr white, shina pelleer etc are all highly respected in our today's society..

If we are to lay accusing fingers here, we need to concentrate more on the institutions rather than an individual personality trying to make an ends meet. We have the likes of SARS/POLICE saddled with the responsibility of curbing such menace but we all know how manipulative they are. Let the institutions do their work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<<< 9ice is just an artist making a living, trust me he makes cool cash for shows. That song was a hit; i so much love it.... plus, it has no influence on me... We are who we are, u are who u wanna be. PEACE!!!

I think you should be ashamed of yourself

Kikikikiki, why is this so funny to me? I guess you did not read that intelligent writeup there. South koreans import food, they hardly practise agriculture, do you know where they are in world economy? We are soooo backward around here, jeeeezzzzz!
Nobody is saying agrisulture is not good for us as a country, but it cannot be what the economy will be solely based on.

Please tell him/her about Singapore that practically imports all the food it consumes (and even imports water from Malaysia) . Our youths just have these archaic beliefs, and when you present logical arguments they will just be telling stories and 'solutions' that they have heard over and over again from politicians that are merely throwing dice. They won't check for the validity of the so-called solutions.

By the way, who wrote this thought proviking article? It is just so great.

My people, it's time to make things. Don't just extract. Make things. Even our oil, we just extract, we barely refine. Refineries are dead! It is just sad. I remember Dangote once said that the solution for us is to 'make things'. And that is what he has been doing.

Please I have a question. Who can one use as a referee on CV.

People who can vouch for your character and work experience. If you are a fresh graduate you can use Your lecturers from school, Nysc LGI, Nysc employer at your PPA, Senior colleagues or bosses from places where you have worked or volunteered in the past. At worst, maybe friends of your parents.

Do not use your parents, relatives or friends.

It is also very important that you inform anybody you intend to use as reference so that when they get a call to vouch for you they won't be caught unawares.

He's making it huge in business. The fact is that, the time you (intelligent) student use in reading, these guys don't read but rather think of money cos education is not their thing. Follow the story of Bill Gates... Sometimes I laugh at those who laughed at us then because we were dull. intelligence depends on your focus...

Abeg find another example. Bill Gates was a nerd, a genius.

Thecassanova:

They both own it when the two states were together, why should Osun leave it for oyo because they now have a state university or divided? Eh

For example. We both contribute money to buy a Bus together, years later I move from the location and I bought my own private bus. Does that mean I should give u the Bus we both bought for free?

Well, using the scenario you painted, if we both own a bus and you cannot meet up with your responsibilities of maintaining the bus, then I will attempt to buy you out. Everyone keeps talking about their joint contributions but what about the joint responsibilities.
Osun state is struggling financially; time and time again, the state fails to meet its responsibilities.

In this case, I think Osun state should let go of the institution. The ownership tussle makes no sense. Yes they both own it, but I think they can reach an agreement where Oyo state can buy off the other partner (Osun state). It happens in business everyday. Agree on a fair deal (not necessarily just cash) and pay off the other party over a period of time.

For how long will they drag this issue and play dice with the future of students?

In the hypothetical situation that a new state is created out of the current Oyo state (some people were clamouring for Ibadan state years ago), what then happens? Three states will be running one university? It makes no sense. They should sit down and agree to terms that will lead to the school being owned and controlled by one state. And I think this is a good way to go especially since Osun now has a university of its own.

My Etisalat modem prevents my laptop from shutting down or hibernating

I have a Dell inspirion 3520 laptop. At the time of purchase it had windows 8 installed. Not long after I upgraded to 8.1. I also have an Etisalat USB modem which I use with the laptop. The problem is that whenever I use the modem on the laptop, it refuses to shut down or hibernate. It doesn't matter if I disconnect the modem and detach it from the system or not. It just won't shut down. When I click shutdown or hibernate the screen goes off , the system attempts to shut down for long time but it hangs and eventually restarts. This restart is not like the normal restart because it takes much longer. In fact I often have to press the power button to to force it to shut down. I use the modem a lot and I don't think it's safe to 'force shut down' at all times.

This problem NEVER happens when I don't use the modem and it ALWAYS happens when I use it.

I also do not face this problem when I use other modems or USB devices.

I have reinstalled to modem several times to no avail. What can I do?

Phones / Re: SONY Xperia Phones Discussion Thread by DarryOsh(m): 12:24am On May 01, 2017
Hi guys.
I upgraded my Xperia c4 from lollipop to marshmallow and now my front camera is no longer working. The icon doesn't even appear to switch between the front and back cameras. It's just back camera by default. In fact you will almost argue that the phone didn't come with a front camera option.

Anyway, I've googled around for a solution. Found a couple of xperia forums. It's a fairly common issue with no known solution. The front camera just disappears (usually after an upgrade, sometimes without an upgrade) Apparently, it's not possible (o rsafe) to downgrade back to lollipop.

To make things worse I don't think there's is an xperia service centre in Nigeria. It's just sad.

I really need to fix the front camera issue. Any ideas guys?

First of all I hope you have been a faithful husband for you to demand faithfulness from your wife.

That aside, Op please get concrete proof or direct confession before you assume. it's possible she has cheated. it's also possible that she has not cheated but has done something equally bad. if you are going to take a decision, at least be sure of what you are taking a decision on.

please don't assume.

I wish you well

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Citibank Nigeria Recruitment For Analysts 2017 by DarryOsh(m): 12:10pm On Apr 26, 2017
Some of us have sent mails to Citi Recruitment Team regarding the issue. (It will be a good idea if others can bombard them with messages too). There was an automated reply which promised a proper reply within three days.

It has nothing to do with any exam score. When you follow the link that came with the mail, it is clear that the required 'page does not exist'. Its obviously a problem from their end.

Regardless of what the problem is, I think we can wait for a proper response.
