wirinet:
You people are taking this Barcanista too serious (just like cramjones). I stopped taking him serious when he started avocating for war with the Itsekiris instead of allowing the juduciary to settle the matter. He actually said even if the supreme court or world court declare judgement, he would not abide by it. This is someone the feels election matters should be settled at the courts.

Although i have been an avid Buhari supporter since 1984, i never really felt the need to fecilitate with Barcanista ( or any other person)in his so called support of Buhari.

That the complete 180 degree turn is because of disagreement and maybe insults from a few APC supporters (not members) on a faceless form is beyond belief. It is liked someone changing from real madrid to Barca because if some disagreements with some real madrid fans on a faceless forum, or changing from believing in Jesus Christ to Mohammed because of insults from a few christians on a faceless forum.

I suspect two things; Either it was planned from the begining as a sort of political gimmick or the other side is offering better incencives.

I for one have never like APC ( i hate PDP ever more), both parties are different sides of the same coin. I am a socialist (leftist) and both parties are hard core capitalist (rightist), so idealogical diferrence between PDP and APC ( that is why politicians can move seamlessly between the two parties). I do not like Bola Tinubu or even the over hyped Fashola, But i stongly believe in Buhari. He is sincere, upright and non materialistic. If anybody can make a change in Nigeria, that person is Buhari.

One man can indeed make a change. chairman Mao made the change in China, Mandela made the change in south Africa, Charles De Gaulle made a change in France, Ben Gurion made the change in Israel, Buhari can make the change in Nigeria.
My sentiments exactly. You too much,it's not enough to like your comment,i must quote you.

BUHARI’S SURPRISE VISIT TO CHIBOK

Via Ayama A Ayama

The JTF Commanders on ground were reported to have been taken by surprise and shocked at Buhari’s daring request to proceed to Chibok immediately after the rally and refused to provide him security cover until they received a clearance from their superiors in Abuja.

GMB left for Chibok inspite of their refusal to go along with him and was moved when he came out and saw the thousands of Civilian JTF members who had volunteered to provide security for him, the Borno Governor and their entourage to and from Chibok Town, and off they went.

The people and parents of Chibok were filled with hope and joy upon sighting Buhari and his entourage, and escorted him into Chibok with singing and dancing.

Crowd receives Buhari in Maiduguri

After he addressed the people and parents of the girls, a pastor offered prayers for the safe return of Buhari and his entourage back home and for his victory at the polls.

The villagers got emotional and some of them started weeping when the General was getting set to depart for Maiduguri later in the night.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Barcanista Blackmail: My Stand by dat9jaguy(m): 10:29pm On Feb 16, 2015
barcanista:
1. Switching of Candidate/Party:
I have never been a card-carrying member of any political party. Never! I supported GEJ after he won the PDP ticket in 2011 and thumb-printed for him during the election. As at then, I never really believed in him but was only hopeful, I never believed in GMB either.
During the Stella Oduah saga I was cheer leading for her head because I wanted a better Nigeria-though was still a GEJ fan. I also pledged to campaign against GEJ should the matter be swept. I kept to my word, I was never antagonised by pro-PDP.
July 2014 I was still critical but wanted a #Change to better my life and our lives as Nigerians. I took the APC serious and declared support. Yet I never registered membership. I had supported Kwankwaso because of his deeds in Kano not because I like his name. I never liked GMB as at then because I never believed in him. I created a thread against him but a friend/brother told me to research on him independent of propaganda. I did, and I became is biggest fan. I inherited his NL image management without anybody's contact or soliciting. I never switched to GMB because I didn't believe in Kwankwaso anymore, I did because he was never in the ruling party and he's assertive. Throughout this period, I've never allowed my political bias affect my personal relationship with people. Firefire, Truckpusher and even Donphilopus can bear testimony except they feel otherwise.

2. My Loss For Buhari
As a proud Ijaw supporting Buhari to the bones, I fell out with my brothers and neighbours that interpreted my action to be treachery against the Ijaw aspiration. So many times I do explain to those that grants me audience, and always hopeful the rest understand. I've got threat messages (which prompted me to cry to 8 members of NL "progressive"wink. I had to take down my facebook page and twitter handle. Just of recent I reactivated my twitter. I went through all these because I thought I had backups.

3. Antagonism By NL e-APC
I usually realise that I get tactically attacked by NL APC each time I opined a dissenting view. Some tag it people pleasing, some tag it popularity seeking, some assumed I'm a mole and opportunist. First, I can't be a mole because I don't have APC card neither do we have any APC secret meeting that we hold. I neither leaked any private conversation I have with APC member to anyone in pro-PDP. I challenge anyone to refute this. Secondly, due to my upbringing, I have never been an "opportunist" or popularity seeking. I move as I'm convinced and defy odds. If I ere I retrace, if I'm convinced I'm on the right I hold on. That's me. It is unfortunate that the same people that I think are with me wouldn't want me to speak my mind or rather wants absolute conformity or cult following. The unwarranted insults and denigration of my personality was not a shock but disappointing. The new story is that I am influenced by a lady. Very disjointed assumption

5. Leaving Their Camp:
The support shown by the pro-PDP camp and a section of pro-GMB camp coupled with other factors seriously made me to reconsider my continuous stay in the "progressive" camp. Brotherhood should not be define by just political affiliation, mutual respect and understanding even in disagreement should supersede. Secondly, I see no moral standing in remaining where you are told yoi aren't wanted.

6. Going Against The APC
As said earlier, my support for Buhari is not premised on blind followership. I believe in his ability to lead Nigeria to greatness but I don't believe in his political party men with respect to sincerity and the antecedents of some of them. With the outburst against me on this platform, it begs for lots of question. I henceforth resign my membership as "Nairaland Progressive".

7. My Commitment To My New Found Love and Smear Campaign:
I recognise the smear campaign against my person but I will not be moved because they are all driven by emotions and not facts. I hope however that it doesn't affect the relationship I have with some friends. The Goodluck Jonathan's government that I've been very critical of may not be the best, but the fact that I enjoy the freedom to criticise his policies without receiving so much hatred from his supporters and even earned their respect in disagreement shows that there is hope as against the "progressive" camp. Democracy is built on freedom, especially freedom to air our views without fear or favor. Absence of this makes whatever we do or assume a hogwash.
Henceforth, I shall be critical of the APC and all those big wigs that goes about with broom shouting #Change when their own house is on fire. My criticism will no longer be one sided any longer. He that is to come to equity must come with clean hands. I will support publicly good policies of Jonathan's administration and criticise when necessary. Ditto APC

Finally, I apologise sincerely to all those that may feel let down by my decision. I apologise to those that will unfollow me after reading this, but my sincerity in this is absolute. My happiness is important, and a better Nigeria built on sincerity, acceptance and understanding is paramount. Progressiveness is not when someone shouts change, progressiveness is when someone lead a life of #Change.

I appreciate Aanumama, ibnsultaan, dein77, Jmaine, firefire, jaybee and all those that supported me one way or the other during my trying times. I owe you all sincere gratitude.

God Bless Us All
Nigeria Shall Be Great
@Barcanista,just like you,i am from Niger delta.
Just like you,i am not a card carrying member of any political party.
Just like you,i have researched extensively on GMB,infact i witnessed that era.
Unlike you,my love and belief in GMB is unshakable.
You might not like the people around him now but that is politics for you,you must dine with the good, the bad,the ugly and even the stupid to achieve
anything but your ability as a leader to lead all these diverse folks in the right direction,is what makes you are true leader. For now there is only one man in this
contest who can do that....GMB.
Just as you are changing sides someone, somewhere is deciding for GMB.

GOODLUCK to you.

PoliticsRe: Interim National Government: One Propaganda Too Many (barcanista) by dat9jaguy(m): 6:36am On Feb 16, 2015
barcanista:
It is no news that some media and personalities have been reporting of a "planned" installation of an Interim National Government by President Goodluck Jonathan. Sahara Reporters, Obasanjo and other "sources" are few people to be propagating this "revelation".

We were told that the Jonathan's administration has no plan to conduct the election and it planned to create a chaos for the Army led by General Kenneth Minimah to takeover the reins of power because they will rather not witness a Buhari government.

Later we were told that the President plans to perpetually remain in power by getting the NASS postpone the election for six months with the pretence of the crises in the North - East. The plan is to invoke Section 135(3) of the Constitution according to this theory.

Just of recent we were told by Sahara Reporters that their "Source" told them that Jonathan approached exHead of State General Abdulsalam Abubakar and "begged" him to head the supposed ING. The plan according to this source is to prevent Muhammadu Buhari from gaining victory at the poll. According to SR, the Jonathan government is to bribe NASS members with $2m and $1m each for Senate and Reps members respectively.
The plan here is for them to invoke Section 135(3) of the Constitution and declare the ING.

Aside from the fact that all theories appear disjointed and does not portray in anyway as to how Jonathan will benefit from the schemes, it also begs for the question of what is the possibility?

Firstly, Jonathan had told the US Secretary of State Mr John Kerry that the election will be held and a New Government inaugurated come May 29. President Jonathan repeated the statement in his media chat. So far, there has been no clue as to whether he plans to remain indefinitely. He also debunked the story of handing over to the Military or any illegal government

Secondly, the talk of Interim National Government is alien to our constitution. There is no way that can happen when we have no constitutional crises. There is no way Abdulsalam or Minimah can assume power except there is a coup. If there is any, then there will be a counter coup. Assuming Jonathan even considers bribing the NASS to get the six(6) months extension, he doesn't need an Abdulsalam or an ING to lead during the extension period. Section 135(3) of the Constitution is very clear that the incumbent preside over the country for the period of any extension. Considering that the opposition controls the House, the ruling party have the Senate, except there is a compromise, that will not scale through.

Thirdly, if the President is to exploit the Military. it will be to give PDP undue advantage at the poll by harassing the opposition on the day of election, and not to handover power to any Gen Minimah or a phantom ING that isn't feasible anywhere.

This talk of an ING is baseless, a distraction, a tool to heat up the already saturated polity. It is one propaganda too many. It is a threat to peace and our collective unity. I have absolute confidence that the election will be held and winner will be inaugurated come May 29.
@Barcanista,the PDP fights and will always fight dirty.Like someone said in an earlier post, you are listening to their words not taking note of their
body language. The PDP can overturn the constitution if given the chance,so the opposition must always be on guard at every point in time.
We have seen countless times when impossible rumours were been circulated and every one taught it would be dead on arrival only for that
same thing to happen exactly how the rumours says,Feb 14 elections comes to mind.
I believe you love GMB as much as i(i hope),so please be alert and vigilant for his sake because PDP dey vex and if them no get their way
deem fit scatter every thing.

If you have 2 empty containers, the capacity of the first container is 5 liter and the capacity of the other is 7 liter.

A patient is in dire need of water and the doctor requires exactly 4 liters of water to prepare his drugs because they are in a village. There is no third container or measuring instrument but water is in abundant.

How do you get exactly 4 liters of water in either of the 2 containers?
Pour 7 litres into the 5 litres(pour away),empty the balance 2 litres into the empty the 5 litre container which gives us a balance of 3 litres to fill
the container. Now fill the 7 litre container and pour into the 5 litre container(already with 2 litres)until it fills and the balance in the
7 litre container would be 4 litres.

Gbam. Simple and short.

It explains everything. Every fire truck has a water hose. Every fireman has a fire taxe or a blunt tool to forcibly enter rooms. Every fireman has ropes for climbing onto burning buildings.

The FBI consultant reasoned that the killer had to be getting water from somewhere and it had to be mobile. So either a fire truck or a water truck. Fire truck is more reasonable in
California
The serial killer must have beaten the victims with his axe or blunt instrument and then left them to drown.
Some died with the broken bones and internal bleeding and dome drowned before bleeding to death

AllNaijaBlogger:
There had been a series of murders in LA and the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Dept) knew that it was the work of a serial killer. They knew that it was a serial killer because the method of killing was the same for all of murder victims. They all had broken bones and were found in a pool of water. What was confusing was the fact that some of them drowned while some did not drown in the pool of water. Also, the victims were all tied up.

The LAPD couldn't catch this serial killer that they had now dubbed the "H20" killer. The killer left no dna and the water also worsened the condition of the corpses of the victims.

However, an FBI consultant with the LAPD took a look at 2 of the 6 crime scenes and quickly decided that the killer drives a specific type of truck. A day later, the killer was caught

How did the FBI consultant solve the case?
A fire truck ,that means a fire fighter committed the crime.
