before now people talk about only Lagos but today many states are witnessing unprecedented improvements, ranging from foreign direct investment, eg ogun state, Anambra abia state, and Akwaibom, these states have improved tremendously, and we are all seeing it. Go round the country. I know a city in Anambra state that boast of up to 18 to 20 hrs of power supply. I know some parts of Lagos state that have also improved. People can now go to the Discos and lay their complaints. Unlike before. When last did you u cue on line at petrol stations? How often do you eat PoINT and Kill in the past? How about now? You guys are being unfair to GEJ. You lost are yawning dust because he believes in democracy, why don't you try this shit on LAgos state government. Have you ever wondered why all media houses in Lagos don't criticise the government? Well if you try that, they will shut you down immediately, just like how oshomole did to a radio station in edo state.
The points i enumerated above are valid and it is what everyone's experiencing,so oga keep your epistle and tell it to the gullible,
i don pass that level.

did you have 36 federal universities 5 years ago
did you have agric reforms that produced the kind of results we are seeing 5 years ago
5 years ago did you ever imagine that a Nigeria will own and build a cement factory
5 years ago did you ever think it possible that apart from oil Nigerian businesses would attract foreign direct investmest ahead of Ghana and south Africa.
5years ago did you ever thought that any govt will seek the Lagos Benin expressway
5 years ago did you ever thought that there would a federal govt sign into law foi bill
5 years ago did you ever think it possible that govt would restructure the energy structure and privatise it
5 years ago did you ever think that inflation will be single digits
5 years ago if you were told Nigeria railway will be revitalize and with new tracks will you believe

for me Nigeria is moving in great strides and this govt has done a lot in that direction.are we perfect, not yet but we are better than yesterday and we are by far better than the milad era.

for me I see greatness and no bokohara is string enough to stop it.
You can't convince me and you won't see my own point of view,so the next best thing is let's hope God gives us the leaders we deserve .

that paper achievement that has pushed Nigeria in having over 36 universities excluding polytechnics, over 300 km of roads, viable financial institutions, a nation that is now Africa's major cement producer and increased influence in oil and gas
and the Nation is ever expanding till now!
36 universities that produce graduates with no jobs for them.
Major cement producer and we buy cement for N2000 per bag.
Less than 3hrs of electricity a day,i.e,if you are lucky to even have any.
Prices of foodstuffs shooting up everyday, meanwhile there is an agricultural revolution going on.
Massive looting of public funds by our so called leaders.
Guy i can continue but it's of no use,Nigerians have not tasted what good leadership is so they think this is the height of good leadership .

As for me Nigeria of now is way ahead of Nigeria of military era and this govt has done to move in that direction.
O.k i have heard you but just know that all you listed here are just paper achievements with no bearing to realities of life.

at least you agree that the price of hamburger in London increase.as for welfare system,no Biggy!
Nigeria is very, very close to achieving it!
Nigeria has grown way beyond the Nigeria of the military era mentality, the grounds that govt have covered is awesome!people may not realise but the advanced nations can see it(I can see it)

it's 33-36%. The figure of 70% was a miscalculation based on that assumption that our economy had a GDP of 280 billion and not 530 billion. This means that all the people you know in the banking, telecoms, movie, music, retail, and services industries were previously counted as 'impoverished' until GEJ rebased the economy.
Can you give me practical example of how our rebased economy is positively(or even negatively)affecting the everyday man you see on the street.
Please educate me because it seems am missing something.

price of food st off in London has it come down!
the. masses abi!the part of which masses do you want to belong,
the day you understand that a lot of the positive thinking masses are making headway and serious breakthroughs on Nigerian soil without stepping abroad.that day you will throw out negativity into the ocean.
These are the lies this govt is always churning out.If you are sincere with yourself you would know that things are not getting better
and we see no hope of it getting better.
As per the electricity issue,my job takes me around the country and i know what am saying, electricity generation and
distribution has not improved.
The London that you claimed the price of food stuffs also increase, tell me what their minimum wage is,tell me if they have a
welfare system in place for the very poor.
Let's not deceive our selves, our leaders are fighting for their pockets and they deceive us with rubbish projections.
My friend having known this,i don't depend on govt to make my life better. My only beef is they should stop trying to take you and i

and impact in the economy is there for

one to see, seriously the Nigeria I saw 12years ago is not the same Nigeria I am seeing now except for the fact that there are people who are working hard to destabilize and create in the of the populace the wrong impression that nothing is working(and the plan of such people will not succeed).
I don't really see any improvements.
1>No improvement in electricity supply.
2>price of food stuffs going up everyday(2011 price of rice 50kg bag-N5,500.2014 price of rice 50kg bag-N10,000)
3>security situation getting worse by the day.
4>No jobs, even the one we pay for we are not given.
5>In the midst of poverty our leaders still display obscene wealth.
We the masses would now be fed with some mumbo-jumbo economic slangs telling us the economy is doing well.
I don't need anybody to tell me the economy is doing well,I would feel the effects myself.

now you are coming small, small to the importance of statistics, economic policies and business environment.if you can ask the right questions what are those things that will either stabilise or bring the price of food commodity downwards.then ask if the govt has done absolutely nothing to address these issues
it will be rather some biased to think that govt never did anything!
That is also my point exactly,we hear different policies everyday but no improvement to the average man's condition.Maybe it is wrong policies or
implementation is faulty but the bottom line is they spew out different figures and policies but the average man remains the same or even worse.
Like i said earlier when we start feeling the effects of these policies then we can say govt is working.
Pls don't tell me it takes time to feel the effects because any economic rescue plan must have long, medium and short term(read immediate) impact on the citizenry.

those figures control virtually the performance of your economy!
for example, imagine the impact of a double digit inflation above 15% over 5 years.
imagine a banking system that is living on volatile funds and the govt has worked very hard in these two areas and have delivered positive results
imagine an economy that has been able to achieve a sustainable growth margin
imagine the cost of re engineering and rebuilding social infastructure and the source of funds to accomplish them.
with academic facts, legislative laws and the business community .I strongly believe that this govt has done a whole lot.
Like i said all these are just statistics. The koko is how have they had any impact on the common man.The developed countries that actually
compile and use these indexes, the effect of governance is been felt by the people on the streets.
In Nigeria you see nice figures mixed with economic jargon served to the masses but the effects are never felt by the masses.
If the price of food stuffs go down, price of fuel goes down, constant electricity, travel to anywhere in your country without fear,
reduced unemployment, then we would know your govt is working.
Every other thing is addition.
