There are several factors that influence the choices people make when they want to get a car. Toyota is a very successful brand, no doubt. However, Mercedes is also very very successful and is a world respected brand.

People mainly buy Toyotas/lexus for pure peace of mind and relatively cheaper maintenance though Lexus isn't cheap to maintain though
