Takehiro is a good RB. Infact he is going to understand Pepe than even Pepe can imagine. He's a dribbling RB again, the Brazilian kind. And he doesn't really need go deep the CK angle to give a precise cross that any 9 would easily nod in. Meaning he'd need Auba more than Laca.


And guess what, he scores well with his left foot. Taking on as much as two defenders. Which means if the trainers get sense, Pepe would be freer than he currently is and that can return some slick box18 passes defenders wont suspect. He slides much more better than Xhaka with more ball recoveries from that CentreBack position too.

If that Midfield work well, i don't see much defending to be done, except at the semis level. Yeah, we give small teams bite, but if we get that Midfield right, the current crop might just pull through. But since i saw Chiellini-Bonucci combo at euros, i can't but wish for such a pair that understand each other. I think we've got that.

Honestly a lot of things are wrong with this current NFF, they can't even organise a decent stadium for SE friendlies. A lot of our games recently have been played in shitty academy training grounds or 5th division pitches in Europe. Things weren't this way in the mid 2000s and early 2010s

Especially those stadiums. But other bigger issues too. Too bad.
