And to think that 99m was mobilisation fee for this Cartil..... And the church didn't need such bloated fee to do the project?!!!!

This thing called mob fee... Kwarapshun!!!

Imagine over 7000+ of such similar mob fee scattered across the country on road projects. The gap RCCG gave too wide. Commendable!!! Shame on our leaders. Taking 11yrs to do what RCCG did under a year!!! Shame!!

This right here is just emotions, emotions and plenty more emotions that does not in any way represent fact. You saying he would've been one of the key figures under Arteta is just emotions and nothing more. When has Ìwobi been that Key figure u talk about exactly? The same Iwobi that keeps giving poverty attacking stats every season without growing into the big man we all hoped he would become?

The fact is iwobi's output was not top level and is still not impressive even after leaving arsenal. Like someone said, selling Ìwobi for that price was good business as in very good business.

Below is screenshot of Iwobi's output at Arsenal and at Everton; does it look like we miss him? If u think yes, maybe u should think again and check Smith Rowe's stats. That boy for a 20 year old in his debut season playing 22 games has 4 assists and 2 goals, has a better shooting accuracy than Iwobi, has more passes per game than Iwobi and had more impact than Iwobi the veteran at Everton last season.

Aswear Iwobi money na delicious money wey the club chop nicely and clean mouth. tongue
Emotions you say?

I still stand by my comment there and its not emotions. You probably fall into the category of those looking for the Scapegoat of Emirates which he was always easily picked for.

He's the only one that's picked on like this. Old Stephen came, Mustafi too, yet the rave and picking wasn't half of what Iwobi got. And youre saying im emotional??

Everton saw him with less play time so you can't even start to use that to judge this last season too.

There are many players that were shltier and were not even called out. Lets not pretend cos of the stats he had. No one here can tell me that it was cos of stats he was sold. Don't tell me that one bit. And is he now stagnant with his emirates form that you can't even have the chance to see he may improve? Or the history with our past players is so cloudy on this front?

Yes he didn't get in the stats we expected him to get, but he'd have done well under Arteta no doubt!!!

For the business angle as it is right now, anybody knows the financial situation of the club and the fragile nature and indecisiveness of the club with regards to Transfers. Imagine we using net difference to do business.

Its why i pray hard for Danny Ek to takeover. I feel all these transfer activity is cos of the EK pressure. If Ek isn't at the door, don't be surprised we wont be doing all these minimini manimo we are currently seeing.

My point that year on Iwobi...
Arsenal will sell ESR,GUEN,SAKA AND MARTUNELLI should their be any bid around or above £30.
Exactly my point.

It was once the near oldies we sold a decade ago. When Man Utd fans used to mock us as "boys" cos the core of our team was relatively young and inexperienced overall. Now, its the oldies we tryna keep and sell the youngsters.

No matter what anyone hear opines, i still hold onto the fact that the sale of Iwobi is still a grave mistake. He'd have been one key, undisputed figure under Arteta, as they even played together. But no, na only his imperfections we sabi focus on asif naim worse pass.

The Transfer team will go naked if championship team comes with 30+ for any of our youngsters you mentioned. Its a Fact.

Lol... I know you're being sarcastic, but even at that, we should be sad that someone like Villa not man city or Liverpool are looking at our young player. At least, over 9yrs ago, it was barca, man city and man u that were doing the bidding not Everton or Villa. Then to bid 20m for Esr knowing his potential and how good he was for us last season is actually a very very big slap on our face. In fact, when I interprete that bid, you know wetin dey run through my mind?

Im stating our downfall from the pedestal we once stood on. Big clubs do come for our talents and gave good prices and we even shakara well. But see how even we evaluate our own players these days. Self Insulting. So yeah, that's the truth. Not being Sarcastic.

The Xhaka issue is proof even we don't value much again. And then see how much we got Mustafi for.

Lets be realistic. See the Martinez saga too.

They are so so bad at business, Leno for whom Emi was sold is now leaving the club a year after Emi left. Like they didn't know such they bundled away such talent?

Honestly, the Current Super Eagles will never be this bad.
Even Without Iwobi, Nacho, Aribo, Etebo at the middle, their replacements can never be this bad.

Ndidi alone will see 4m sef.

Ejuke would even do the width of the field twice before dem colet the ball. Infact put Balogun there sef, he'd still see 4m to progress.

One thing is it would be one tough miracle if England happen to smell the semis, or win it. Cos i wouldn't want to hear any crap about Southgate knew what he was doing.

The irony is that they were winning big games before the tournament, destroying Norway and Netherlands. Everyone saw them as the black horse of the tournament, especially as they were drawn into a relatively easy group. The whole thing is embarassing.
I remember the way spoke highly of them. I think its safe to conclude for both big and medium, small teams that Tournament proper is always never for the top guns ever again.

See Portugal
See Hungary
See the way France dey do?

Only Belgium and Italy(nobody even looked their way prior to start) look promising enough. Its 4games away from Glory.

Should be communicating better with her defenders or be in the box if she can't attempt blocking like a GK.

I'm sure they'll come around asap. That attack needs all the clinical prowess it needs right now.

Our biggest problem against USA will be the height of their attackers. They will play a bunch of long balls into our box and the question is can we win them. I would go 3 at the back and leave two attackers up top. Everyone else behind the ball. Frustrate them and look to catch them on counter attacks. Their defense has not been tested but I don't think the CBs are the fastest.
Our Goalie is too heavy to dive for the r2 and l2 shots coming her way. She should shed some pounds after this. I fear for Oluehi more than our defense.

The Jamaicans were defensive throughout sha. A Counter attack would upset that usa defence that. Those 4 USA defenders were too comfy. Payne and Alozie may need to start. Anything that would make Rita, that lacks pace to start, na OYO for Oluehi o. See slick one-two inside box 18.

Plus the silly offside trap our defense are still wack at, the USA girls are best at beating it in twos and threes. I expect a two sided game sha. grin

I doubt this Defense would not conceed at least 2goals. I think we need see Nnadozie asap. Besides that Defense is on makeshift mode. Alozie should be made to play her natural role and okeke to RB. Ordega can start from bench vs USA.

Them fit spell Nigeria sha.

Was confused for a moment seeing her playing that role that is naturally for Okeke, while okeke is still on the pitch. They should allow Alozie play her Winger role abeg.

Once again, Oluehi unable to organize the Defense. The USA attack won't even need enter the box before they bang shots at her.
