TobyeCole: If you pick a child up at 8 years old. And lives with you till she turns let's say 15 and has remain under your custody for such a period during her formative years, would it be wrong to classify her as a virgin girl given her entire activities could be accounted for the entire years?
Mind you before this this family has nurtured and released about 5.girls like her who all left too as pure girls. U said she has been with u for 10 years. Why are u removing 3 years from her age. If u took her in at 8 and she has stayed for 10 years, then she is 18 not 15 and the fact that u are using format to reduce her age so we would think she is 15, raises the hair at the back of my neck |

Why are you insistent on trying to tag me and my family as bad people by your hearsay, common one sided story? If you do not see yourself as wrong here, in light of the scriptures, then u need to take off that Episcopal robe and assume the idiosyncrasies of an agbero |

Communicated what I read here since my family's image was falsely depicted. Am I wrong for bringing the best persons in complicated issues that best known the truth of a matter to the truth of an issue?
Judge me in the spirit of truth. Or don't judge issues when you aren't privy to detailed information. As a minister, have u come across Proverbs 19:11? This what it says: "The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger,And it is beauty on his part to overlook an offense". Do u think that there is a need to handle this issue from a scripture-based approach? U have been hollering all over the place in a rabid manner, throwing scriptural caution to the wind. The scriptures disagree with u on this and oh, pls don't whip out that "I'm not perfect" immunity clause cos none of the persons concerned here are also perfect. |

The Nigerian constitution is very clear on prostitution. How can you think of taxing it because it is thriving? Our government is lazy and is simply looking for easy ways to raise money. Let me tell u what Jesus said in a similar situation: Luke 13:4,5: " Or those 18 on whom the tower in Siloam fell, killing them-do you think that had greater guilt than all other men who live in Jerusalem?" From Jesus' statement, u can see that he was teaching us that surviving or escaping a tragedy has nothing to do with being righteous or being a sinner. It is our wicked and selfish attitude that makes us reason this way. The recent event of that pastor who drowned with his two kids, give credence to Jesus statement in above scripture. Are we too proud to accept the truth of this holy teaching? In fact, the wisest man in the Bible knew that unexpected events overtake everyone. See Ecclesiastics 9:11. |

Why not organize preaching in your private room or church and the invite people who want to hear your nonsense. A classroom is a place for learning and not for religious activities. GeniusWannabe: I still don't see going to people's homes and sharing your faith with them as an invasion of privacy. Having a nice stable setting with the hearer would breed a suitable environment for a decent conversation. You don't get that in a setting where people do not have the time to sit and discuss (of course, that cannot be entirely discouraged). Some people have things they battle with and they don't know how to share it or who to share it with. Visiting people in their homes and sharing the gospel with them can enable them share their problems and get the necessary solutions they need (which are included in the gospels). If you don't reach out to these people, how would they share their problems? This is one of the reasons people die in silence. How would you invite people to a crusade if you don't give them an insight of what they're getting involved with? This is what sharing the gospel basically entails, it's not being shoved down people's throats. It's unfortunate that people do it the wrong way. Thumbs up |

That is because many of us do not know how to pray and to even pray according to God's will. Matthew 6:7 says: "When praying, do not say the same things over and over again, as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing by their use of many words". From the scriptures above, we see that persons who say the same things in prayers, repetitiously are referred to 'people of the nations'. That is, unbelievers. Besides, the speaking in "tongues" we hear all over, has no bearing in the scriptures. When I hear ppl say that gibberish, I just wonder as to how powerful the devil really is |

Why NOT eat in your own house before going to a party, or on your way to the party, stop by a store and take with you a bottle of nice wine for others to enjoy?
