Happy sunday everyone.

As you may have noticed as i entered, am completely new to you guys here, so its gona be completely understandable if you guyz dont wana associate yourself with a she-devil like my self.

**spreads mat**

Yeah i just want to bring to una notice some things i observed in churches have been to so far --- that are very distracting.

1. Most churches have no provision for kids. Their child keep standing up, running around, crying...etc. Thats very distracting abeg.

2. Choir uniforms : the choice of the choristers attire sud be completely selective. A too-bright attire will end up distracting the congregants. It might be a little bit difficut to resist turning to their corner instead of the altar.

3. Sitting arrangement: This is peculiar to some churches. In their bid to curb immorality and sexual sins, they have dermacated the female seats from the male seats. At the end of the day, our dear brothers wont concentrate on the bible reading or the memory verse. They keep tunning to the females section for inspiration.

4. Speakers: I wonder if heaven is such a noisy place. No it is not. The kind of speakers some churches uses is enough to host reinhard bonnkee crusade. Whyhuh The congregant will have to start using cerumol wen dey get home.

5.
6.
7.

ABEG FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR OWN DISTRACTIONS
Who knows, we might be helping a church owner re-strategize.

Thank you.

I met this girl some two months back, and asked her out. She told me she'll think about it. Up till now, she hasn't given me a reply but hasn't stopped requesting for cash from me. Of recent she told me she'll need about N15k for personal reasons. She didn't even tell me what she wants the money for what kind of person is that. And she hasn't even accepted my proposal yet. I feel like letting her go even though I love her so much. What do u guys feel?
Kai! Naija una try o. I can't seem to understand the concept of giving someone I am only dating money. Its one thing to be married and its another to be seeing someone but to be giving them money is something completely different.
RomanceRe: Turning Him Into A HUSBAND MATERIAL. by davidif: 6:31pm On Jan 25, 2017
Change they say, is constant.

I assure you, I have heard the saying, " You can't change anyone"...I used to believe that until I had a reason to doubt it... They also say stuff like "Once a cheat always a cheat" etc.

I do believe Love changes people.

Turning him to a Husband material is all about touching certain spots in him so much so that IF something happens and you're no longer together, he never forgets you- You Left An Indelible Mark In His Heart.

NB: These points can also be followed in a PLATONIC relationship, not only in a LOVE relationship.

How Can You Turn Him To A Husband Material?

1. Keep Your Standards Genuinely High

Most ladies think that "giving up your standards for him is one of those things love will should cost you...No! In fact, giving up your standards shows that all ladies are the same and both of you (you and him) are just the same meaning- you can't positively affect him and fix his challenge. If your stand is no sex, don't lower it to touchings...Keep it high- WE WILL HATE YOU AT FIRST BUT THEN YOU WILL JUST BE ONE SHINING DIAMOND in the sky . If you're doing it with some other guy, it won't be long, he'll find out.

2. Be Real With Him At All Times- Express Emotions Sometimes.

Don't be too firm and resolute. Be emotional occasionally. Trying to impress him isn't the key. I had a lady then who shed tears just because some folks she was leading were so recalcitrant- As she wept, I loved her more- I can't explain it but I saw reality in her.

Being real with him means you have to always open up when you're not comfortable with something but in a mature/ mild way.

3. Lead Him To Believe In The Supernatural.

Especially, if he doesn't believe in God...
The Supernatural is inexplicable using the human mind. There is just something when a girl invites a guy to her Church. He may be a whizz in natural life and work but he feels inept in this area...How do you feel when you see him turning to Genesis when the pastor told them to open to Hebrews? grin
He can't forget you...

4. Don't Put Money As Top Priority

Putting money as top priority makes you like the rest of 'em...If he asks you to cook for him, try as much as possible to do so much with just little- hard right? Try to...You may not have a second chance to make a first impression. Some girls even give...You love him, you see his potentials, isn't it wise to sow a seed or two? smiley Don't say, he'll leave you when things get better, not when put all the 7 points to practice.

5. Be Committed In Checking Up On His Goals In Life.

Find out what matters most to him- his vision, goals, purpose etc. Ask him about it and once in a while remind him... Insist that he go look for a job, sends his CV to so and so... Every guy still have baby tendencies- being like a mother to them energizes them. undecided

6. Teach Him And Make Him Look Like The Teacher.

Mothers are life mentors. So are Real Ladies. Teaching a guy, you need to be wise, especially when you're not trying to be selfish. I do this a lot to girls. In teaching, ask questions, suggest...It's not inferiority, it's courtesy, respect and regard.

7. If You Don't Agree With A Certain Behavior Of His, Create An Avenue For Him To Correct It.

He didn't call you on your birthday. Call him and insist that he calls you immediately. Don't take it too personal. He still loves you nonetheless. By doing so, you're standing out as a Big Girl and not a Spoilt Brat. wink

This thread does not promise you that he will change but ...You will change...

Love changes people in amazing ways. You haven't experienced it doesn't falsify these points... Maybe you have to put these to practice thus enhancing your chances of even finding the guy who won't be a tough but to crack.

Good morning.

Globalization so far is only helping China and the few billionaire taking advantage of cheap labor, we have tried for thirty years now and Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan have completely become a ghost factory town with factories looking deserted and drugs everywhere.
Wrong, wrong, wrong! Until recently, i lived in Northwest Ohio (pretty much next door to Michigan) while you watched on tv so please don't tell me anything about Ohio being "a ghost factory town". Yes those regions had there tough times especially the city i lived in but the region has gotten better. The auto industries are doing well again so the news about there demise has been greatly exaggerated.

There is a difference between statistical figures, news reports and LIVED experience.

With united State owing debt equal its gdp and having recorded loss (deficit with China) for 10 straight years. It's obviously time to try something new.
You are confusing trade deficit with actual debt. Those are two different things. First of, two thirds of the U.S debt is held by the American people (NOT CHINA) and whenever the united states revenue is not able to match its expenditures (spending) for the budget year then that gap is what we call a budget deficit which is different from a trade deficit. Now to close the gap for the budget, the U.S govt has to find money from somewhere and that somewhere is usually China. The Chinese lend the Americans so much money its not even funny and this is what the U.S govt uses to finance tax cuts (when you cut taxes money has to come from somewhere else) and close the budget hole. So instead of blaming the Chinese blame the US govt. Last time time i checked over two thirds of the U.S spending goes to military spending and the entitlement programs (social security, medicaid, medicare etc) and the U.S has to get this under control.

Now when it comes to a trade deficit, that's a completely different thing. A trade deficit simply means that you are buying (importing) more from a country than you are selling to them. For example, the U.S buys a lot from Mexico than it exports (sells) to them.
Now this is not exactly bad. Japan has had a trade surplus for decades yet it has been in recession since around 1991. To make matters worse there debt is so large because there revenues are not able to match there spending. Now Australia on the other had has run a trade deficit for decades yet it hasn't had a recession in 25 years.

"The definition of madness is doing same thing all the time and expecting different result". Trump is a business man and running a business for ten years without profit is madness.
If you think running a country with so many complex moving parts is the same as running a running a real estate business then you are in for a long thing. Yes, maybe some skills do transfer but its a completely different field. As the CEO of a company your word is law, you can make unilateral (individual) decisions by yourself but in govt you have to govern by collaboration and consensus building and that means that you have to be work with people (including your enemies) and you have to inspire them to work towards a common goal. And i don't think Trump has the temperament for that. Let's see what happens to him when he can't get what he wants and how he reacts to that.
And oh, don't forget, you can't fire federal employees like you do in the corporate world. You can fire your cabinet members but you can't fire the career govt workers and they can frustrate you if they want.

Another point i want to make is that nation states are not corporations they are sovereign nations free to do what's best for them and that can occasionally conflict with yours. In other words, if you think that you can talk to China anyhow and bully them then you got something else coming. Some things are simply non-negotiable in the arena of Geo-politics (See the One China policy for an example)

Am willing to pay more for what I buy, as long as my purchase in NY creates a Job in Ohio.therefore let this trade war begin.
Hahahahaha, are you sure about that? see wishful thinking at its worst. What happens when your wages stagnate and cost of living increases? Inflation! say it with me I.N.F.L.A.T.I.O.N with a big capital letter i. Yep, that same phenomenon that central bankers fear so much is the one that you are looking on to with anticipation.

Trump said he wants to start a price war, increase spending and cut taxes all at the same time?!?!?!?!? hahahaha You Trumpites all deserve each other.

At the end of the day, automation is as much to blame for the loss of manufacturing job as any free trade agreement and Trump is about to find that out real soon.

And you think protectionist policies is going to help American workers?

Might simply be that the rule is so dumb. I mean what brilliant constitutional scholar came up with it in the first place? I can't imagine that happening in any advanced democracy.

Besides, the law is also unjust. Its age discrimination. The most important thing about rules is that they should fair, be sensible and should be for the good of the people and not just for arbitrary reasons.

That's the negative side of democracy. Performing or non-performing, good or bad leader, progressive or not, one must vacate his seat to pave way for another. Jammeh tried for Gambia and I didn't see Barrow bringing anything good.

And most of the times, people failed to appreciate what they have and thank God, instead, they will ask for change not minding the fact the devil you know is better than the one you don't know. Nigerians made this mistake and I believe Ghanaians will also become guilty of this.

We cannot be asking God for more when we fail to appreciate what He gave us.
