Jimyn:So you prefer the alternative: War? Are you Africans not tired of the multiple civil wars on your continent? |
stexsy:When did compromise in the hopes of peace become "liver failure?" Why do a lot of you Africans see peaceful negotiatiins as a weakness? Have you still not learned from the multiple civil wars that have happened on the continent yet? Na wa for una o. |
Rapmaestro:I tire o. Africans and their penchant for recriminations which ever so often leads to violence. |
frankloloko:Uhm...you are on the wrong thread. |
abouzaid:We? Who is the we in this situation? You mean you and your friends? |
Muafrika2:And what nation is that again? |
Neddstark:So its appropriate to characterize a large sect of people by one word right? Gotcha. |
rokiatu:Abeg tell then jare. |
refiner:Can you give her the go ahead? What kind of reasoning is this? |
stinechykee:You keep talking about Sudan so let me tell you the story about the country. For years, those in the Southern part of the country had been clamoring for separation because of the injustices against them and the domination from the North. The thinking was that the solution to what was going on in Sudan was for the Southerners to be allowed to leave and form there own new country which they did. It was called South Sudan. Now fast forward to present day and the newly formed country is in the midst of a brutal civil war. It turns out that they turned on each other along tribal lines and just like when they were still in Sudan they have turned to genocide. This begs the question, why is it that Africans can't solve there problems amicably without resorting to violence? Why do they let their leaders divide them along ethnic lines? Why are a lot of Africans so ruled by their emotions (especially anger) and so quick to turn on each other over every single slight? Why do the people easily turn to outbursts of anger and violence when things don't go there way? Why do they look at people who are not willing to solve their problems with violence as weak or cowards? Why can't they put the past behind them instead of always bringing it up and using it to fuel more conflict? why do they like making decisions based on emotions instead of logic or reason? One of the most important lessons I learnt on leadership is that leaders should not make decisions when they are emotional. They should take some time to calm down, cool off and make a decision based in reason and not out of anger. A good leader should be calm and level headed. You would think that some Africans would have learnt this but instead they keep making the same emotionally fueled decisions and following leaders who make decisions our of bitterness and revenge instead of logic and strategy. Finally, why can't we learn to accept there differences and learn to live side by side with each other? We are in the 21st century for goodness sakes and we are still fighting each other. Are the racists right that the only thing we are good at his violence and disease after all that's what they see when they watch stuff about Africa. It seems that everyone is going forward except for us? |
abouzaid:Let me tell you the story about another African nation and former British colony named Sudan. Muafrika2:So says the guy from the oppressed nation. Please tell me who made you a god to determine what amount of liberty people need? |
Neddstark:So if a white person called a stupid black African that will sit well with you abi? |
stinechykee:And what makes you think that people in the South-South would want to join Biafra? They own all the oil so they have leverage. So why would they turn that down to go become minorities in another country? |
stinechykee:Dude, Nigeria and Sudan are two different situations. Sudan was in the middle of a genocide at the time and the U.N helped broker the negotiations. As far as I am concerned, nothing like that is going on in Nigeria so I doubt if the UN would want to get involved in what's going on in Nigeria |
abouzaid:But the constitution does not state anywhere for a referendum? |
Muafrika2:And oppression is good abi? Like in your country where police shoot you just for protesting? Gotcha! |
discusant:But Biafra would be a land locked nation in Nigeria |
OILSOUP:And you think Trump cares about some poor country in Africa? Hahaha talk about someone having an over inflated sense of self importance haha. |
kettle84:And some Nigerians would come here and be forming with their useless outrage when the U.S refuses to sell them weapons. Why would I sell weapons to a country that is killing it's own people? |
agarawu23:And you took the time to read the post and comment on the thread abi? |
sweetmusictv:That meme is awesome. |
Neddstark:First of all, you called her a "stupid old white woman" and you said that's not racist? If that's not racist then what is? Either way sha, thats not the issue, the issue is how do you know that the woman does not at least suspect what he is up to and just decides to follow through either way because they both have what each other wants. She probably wants companionship and some help while he needs papers. |

Rubbish. Diversity my foot..What is this one saying self? |
Neddstark:Racist much? |

That by far was the most cringe worthy thing i have ever seen on the internet.

David0:Do you know how unruly Naija people can be at times. Just go to the airport and see how they throw tantrums like children when things don't go their way. |
Blue3k:Elections are different as far as i am concerned. You can't bribe everyone. The elections i am calling for are non-partisan elections. In other words, none of the candidates should be affiliated with a party. They should all be running independently. |
bigtiny10:It was actually confirmed that the person who tweeted was not Kim K. |
