arresa: What you are trying to say is you don't know how to read and comprehend simple English words....more like you can't read between the lines. Read Fashola's speech on the issue of Ebola again and again then you just might understand what I mean. But I guess you won't because you sure do not have the ability. Peace, bro! |
What Fashola is trying to tell us, indirectly, in a one sentenced summary is 'the credit should go to me and not anyone else'. Period! |
eye4eye: I can see the Y1bos running wild here insulting Fashola. Koni dafun baba nlaku yin eyin omo Y1bo.Then you will die with a 'passionate' heart attack |
arresa: Political parties shouldn't be taking credit and campaigning with ebola at the expense of the brave men and women that sacrificed their lives by paying the ultimate price.. That was thoughtless, mindless, crude, irresponsible and crass..Political parties didn't take credit and campaign with Ebola at the expense of anyone. If you know any party who did, please tell us. arresa: It is women like Stella Ameyo Adedevoh to whom such a claim rightly belongs. - Fashola. She didn't conquer Ebola, Ebola conquered her. Kudos to her though...RIP. arresa: Dear Lagosians, these were the people who saw and defeated Ebola. Let no person tell you otherwise. He should be ashamed of himself for making these comments. Nobody is taking any credit from anybody. The credit, ultimately, goes to Nigeria and not Lagos state because she didn't act alone. stress: What are these precautionary steps? Speeches and news conference. Abeg list them including the one that let ebola into Nigeria in the first place and the ebola vaccine they lied about...I don't need to list them to you because you know them already, and followed them. If not you would have been dead by now. ![]() arresa: Do you people read news or follow current affairs? What financial and material was provided. The Lagos state government and legislature released funds to fight ebola while your FG lied about releasing funds which they didn't do till victory was declared in Lagos and when the governor welcomed the survivors.I do not think you follow trends in the country at all. All you do is dwell on hearsay. Because if you do you wouldn't utter all these. Why did they release funds? They shouldn't have but wait for FG. Bunch of mofos! Last I checked, the outbreak started in their domain so they had no option whatsoever but to release funds which FG supported with more funds. arresa: Lagos state money fought Ebola, your FG change showed up after the fact when it was all over... It was medicine after death..If your Lagos state money fought Ebola and the money from FG which you called 'change' showed up after all was over. Why did your Lagos collect the 200million FG change? I'm sure he will steal that money. arresa: Like Fashola said, credit goes to the men and women on the ground fighting ebola including the ones that sacrificed their lives...Nobody is disputing the fact that credit goes to those people on ground and who lost their lives. They are Nigerians, so credit goes to Nigeria ultimately. If you can't or don't have the brain to understand my simple argument then it's a pity...I can't help you. |
[[s]quote author=drauj]It's the fact as straight as it sounds. It's sad mischievous people castigate GMB in the minds of the gullible masses.[/s] Buhari is the panacea to ![]() |
Fashola, where is your common sense!? Oh, sorry, I remember...common sense they say is not common. Without the FG, Fashola would still be running from pillar to post by now on account of Ebola. |
niggereyez: just wat i've been waiting to hear... @ the bolded. And who said credit was not given to them? |
Fashola is saying trash, in my opinion, and should quit saying it. Since when has 'we' become 'I'!? Those involved in the fight to ensure Ebola didn't escalate are Nigerians and did it selflessly for love of job and country. So, I don't think it is out of place for any one who to say we conquered Ebola (even though he wasn't directly involved) to mean that he is taking the credit to himself. When GEJ addressed the UN few days ago about Ebola he didn't say 'I conquered...' But 'we conquered...' So did the minister of health when he addressed the press. Because which ever which way you look at it, we all contributed to the success. I think what Fashola is trying to say, indirectly, is that the credit should go to him and not GEJ. Period! So, let him come out in black and white and say it instead of trying to argue about who should and shouldn't be credited ![]() Had it been Lagosians and indeed Nigerians were careless and didn't follow the laid down precautionary steps to forestall the spread, do you think Fashola and his Lagos would have been able to contain it? The answer is 'No', and Fashola won't be saying this gibberish. Had it been the FG didn't swing into action to assist financially, materially and otherwise, what do you think would have happened? If Fashola knew his government could single handedly fight the disease why then was he making so much noise about not haven gotten Ebola funds from FG? Why did he eventually take the money from the FG? It's not about Lagos alone...it's about Nigeria and Nigerians fought and conquered Ebola. In a nutshell, therefore, credit goes to Nigeria, ultimately, because was a collective effort and nobody was a super star. So, Fashola, please keep quiet! |
inze: If Freon can be contaminated, what then stops it from evaporating at the time of contamination?Yes, freon can be contaminated. |
Op, you call those things you listed atrocities!? Your're not serious at all! I don't think you know the meaning of 'Atrocity'. |

50calibre: Give me three things he has accomplished.Educating you on his accomplishments will be not but futility. More like trying to teach an old dog some new tricks...he will never learn. Sorry to disappoint you, my friend but I have better things to do. |

helphelp: Hello,If I should just read and pass even though I have something to say then you should have posted the lousy topic in the first instance, expecting comments from members. What else are you trying to cause with your topic than mischief!? Stop being mischievous, kid! |
marieolae: please what has he really accomplished since being in office? Dis one dat ur saying I shud give him a break..its not his fault..PDP is a party of destruction. He has accomplished a significant lot. It's just that you are too blind to see or you pretending not to see. Insinuating that he hasn't accomplished anything is, to say the least, the height of irresponsibility. |
helphelp: In my honest opinion, leaving out the fact that I don't believe in GEJ. I think the sudden successes of the war against terrorism is pre-planned.What exactly do you want!? |
jayonpoint: Boko haram is a political scheme..mainly to raise money for 2015 election. D sudden winning came after Stephn Davis revelation report which indicted Jonathan cronies. shortly after naija military begin to prosecute n repeling d war against boko bois. Wat a sudden event? D problem wit nigerians is, we're cowards n sentiments is our biggest weakness. Its politics all along n conspiracy theories by FG since 18century.So what do you want us to do for you, ask the military to slack a little so that the killings, bombings and abductions can once again hit the sky!? |
MeAboki: How ironical, he couldn't see it coming; yet he could see and predict the future and perform many miracles, seemingly even more than Jesus christ himself; but couldn't predict the collapse of his own building - and still some gullible ones continue believing in his holy fakeness. Pataki: I hope this news is not true.Ewhu mhee |
stuhporh: Please this isn't suppose to be a kindergarten thread, you can simply check the next one if it will fit, i see you also have issues having a non abusive conversation. cuteboy2: Please HELP!!!It might be that your drain pipe is blocked or becoming blocked thereby causing some growth of fungi in your HVAC system either in the vent ducts or in the AC lines/or other component. The drain pipe might not be blocked but fungi can grow due to dew or dampness in the vent ducts. To prevent this, switch off the AC leaving the blower or fan ON in HIGH mode 3 to 5mins before you switch OFF your engine to dry the duct or reduce the moisture. For the bad odour, you can try using any strong deodorizer with a small connecting pipe like the one on cab cleaners. Now, open the bonnet and you will see an air inlet vent close to the driver side below the wipers. Start the car, switch OFF recirc control with the blower on MEDIUM then spray liberally into the vent letting it run for at least 15minutes. Next, turn ON the heat and spray again. You may need to repeat depending on your case. In my case I wasted two cans on the sh1t. If after doing this and you still experience same thing then you may have to TOTALLY flush and refill your AC. After this, follow the preventive measure by switching OFF your AC leaving the blower on HIGH 3-5mins before you switch OFF. |

symbian03: Ability to ignore all their wahala makes you a real man. I swear, beating is just too immature and uncalled for. I know what I'm saying and I definitely understand your argument. My brother you cannot ignore all their wahala...maybe some. 'U neva jam some troublesome women wey b say the more u ignore them the more they trouble you and the you keep quite on them the more problem...they just want you to react. And if you try to walk away they lock the door leaving you indoor. Some will even hit you first with their hands or any object in their reach. In this kind of scenario, tell me, what will you do? So my brother just pray that you don't come across those types of women that will tempt you to hit them and believe me, you will surely fall for their temptation and hit them. For some women, you need to be physical with them...they just want you to prove to them that you are in charge and all they want is for you to be physical about it. It may sound funny but that is reality....fact. I'm holding a case for men whose habit is to beat women but what I am trying to say is that you have to do if need be. |
Abeg how many days remain inside the ultimatum? Abeg make 7days reach quick make we see Wetin those mumu group wan do. |
marieolae: let us protest against this bad luck johnathan!Protest ke!? If u see protest u go fit stand? |
Nigerians we just don't know what we want exactly. When the insurgents seem to be winning you were crying that the NA is not doing enough and that GEJ is too slow. Now that we are winning you are still crying and complaining that the success is too fast and sudden. Aren't you happy that NA, GEJ and indeed all well meaning Nigerians are winning the fight? Op, what exactly is your problem, what do you want!? Please tell us. |
