Anyone with the info on the salary scheme of SS7 as affecting OND holders in the operator trainees plssssss. So one will know weda to continue with the recruitment of not seeing nnpc don't upgrade affecting people like us who have now gotten HND. Please it is important .

I'm very sorry. But i can't disclose figures on salary. Just go for your interview (which I hope you scale through by His grace) first. When you eventually get your 'Letter of Employment' (wherein you will be told your salary), there and then you can decide whether to accept the offer or not. If you initially had OND only, which you probably applied with, then later obtained HND what you do is inform them (GHR) during the interview and later during documentation process (after you must have passed the interview of course). The recruitment process started 3yrs ago and many of you might have acquired additional qualifications/experiences which is quite understandable but doesn't necessarily mean you will be upgraded as a result. What you applied with (OND which is SS7) is what you will enter with. The good thing is that your HND is not a waste since you got it before you were called for interview. You just inform them at the entry point (i.e. during interview and most importantly documentation), they will take note and include it in your file.

I am really amazed to notice the high drop of likes we used to see on this platform for pro ACP/Buhari comments. 1. I wouldn't want to give any estimate here, be it rough or smooth. All I know is SS7 package is not bad at all and hell NO it's not 889k/annum...it's far more than that.

2. OND is SS7. So far as you applied for 'entry level' if you like make you get 100 years experience e no concern dem.

Yes, of course, you can notify them. But they will not, that i know for certain, upgrade you as a result. You can only be place in a grade level (SS7) with the result (OND) you applied with. That is not to say that your HND and NYSC certs are a waste. Just keep them very well because that is the only reason what will make 'the chicken cross the road'. You can as well put this very question to them at the interview and hear from them first hand. Good luck my guy...wish you success!

The pay package for OND holders is not bad at all.

For OND holders you will placed at a grade level known as SS7 (Senior Staff level '7'). Now, since you applied with and submitted OND you can only be placed at that level to start with. You cannot tender the certificates, you must have acquired after, for upgrade purposes. You can only notify them during your documentation stage, after you scale through the interview stage by God's grace of course, that you have acquired an additional qualification. Maybe they might allow you to include it in your file but will not upgrade you. What you applied with is what you will be considered and placed with. Be calm! Prepare your mind for the interview and land the job. NNPC is like PDP's umbrella...it accommodates many plus you get a job and have your life if you know what I mean, of course.

Driving in the rain (especially a downpour) is not a good idea. But sometimes one can't help but drive in the rain most especially when you get caught up in it. There was a time I drove into a puddle and I almost lost control of my vehicle. You know, water acts like lubricant (friction/traction killer) between the road and your car tires. To drive comfortably and safely you have to be able to see clearly through your windshield, rear and side windows. This is where your windshield wiper and HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) system come into play.

1. Replace your wiper (if bad) with OEM part.

2. Your HVAC system has to be in top shape (fix it if need be). Set it up appropriately to ensure your windshield and windows are not fogged which causes a blurred vision (like exhaling on a mirror or glass). This is how I do it on my car (2010 Accord) with auto climate control. I just click the FRONT and REAR buttons on my dash and the settings take effect automatically, then I manually adjust the heater to a comfortable level (say 85 degF or higher) depending on the weather condition and I'm good to go. On some other makes/models without auto climate control. Switch on your AC, switch OFF recirculation (that is, switch ON ventilation), adjust your fan to max, adjust your heater to a comfortable level. If you do all these your windshield and windows will not be blurred.

3. Turn ON your headlights (if your car didn't come with DRL - [b]D[/b]ay time [b]R[/b]unning [b]L[/b]ight) and DIP them.

4. Do not drive speedily into a pool or puddle as this may make you loose control of your vehicle. Do not drive above 100km/hr on highway during rain. I drive between 60 - 100km/hr depending on the condition.

5. Use your initiative. Your friends and family love you.

When reversing towards a parked car I usually stop when the distance between the bottom my back window and the windshield of the parked car is half the length of the hood of the parked car, by estimation. Once I'm able to establish this, I move a little further so that the distance now is half of the previous half and then I hit the brake. I think this is the smartest and safest way that has worked for me over the years. The clue is make sure you don't keep reversing when the hood of the parked car is out of view or has disappeared from your view else you hit the car behind. Anyone else with a superior method?

Oh, what a dilemma. I share your confusion bro. My brother, this is a rare opportunity I must say you don't deserve to let slip off your grip. Grip and hold close to your chest as strong as you can. For those saying that after all it's only a test invitation that it doesn't guarantee you getting the job, but they forget that invitation for test is the second stage of the recruitment process of which without it your application cannot secure the job. NNPC those conduct their tests in batches as such they cannot reschedule another date for you, trust me. You said you're a teacher at the moment. I believe you understand that this one is a great upgrade compared to your present job if God willing you land on it.

My submission. I wouldnt suggest you kill 2 birds with a stone by trying to attend both, but if you can then all well and good. You cannot change the test date BUT you definitely CAN change the wedding date. Your wife is your wife, she isn't running away. Send bulk SMS to all invitees about the change of date. Call the reception venue and explain to them, I believe they will understand and make adjustment for you or make a refund that's if you've already paid. Call your inlaws and the pastor of the church and explain. Call your MC too. It doesn't matter if you have printed IVs. You can easily use pen to change the date simple.

In a nutshell. Change the wedding date and go write the test.

For the test format i dont know if it will change but you will write 3 sections. I would suggest you dont focus on GMAT alone (you know all those Spatial, Diagramatic, Charts blah blah blah). Revise your basic secondary school subjects as well. E.g chemistry, physics, mathematics, accounts, economics, etc. in the last test all those who 'jacked' GMAT alone were disappointed. The questions were very basic. everyone (OND, BSc, HND; both experieced hires and GTs and Operators) wrote. There was General Engineering section (questions from chemistry/industrial chemistry, physics, electrical/electronics, mechanical, etc); Information & Computer Technology, Management Sci section, etc. English compulsory for all. For the other two, choose the section that soothes you discipline. For engineers you can choose English (which is compulsory) then Maths, General Engineering or ICT making 3 sections in all.
