barcanista:You think you know anything!? ![]() |
lokito:Dreamer |
Governors seriously scouting for election money. ![]() |
XketchDesigns:Stop laughing at your ignorance, my friend! There is absolutely nothing wrong with that statement. Any automobile assembled/manufactured in any country is made in that country. Any car manufactured in Nigeria is "Made in Nigeria"! Innoson is a Nigerian brand and must be encouraged. Honda is Japanese and not an American brand but when manufactured in America it's "Manufactured by Honda America" Which is the same as "Made in America". So, what's your problem about that?? |
ayoola2002:How can you say a thing like that?! Is GEJ the courts? That's why we have the judiciary as one of the arms of government. You don't expect the executive to do the job of the judiciary. Those individuals you mention are only perceived to be corrupt. They are not corrupt or rather guilty in the eyes of the law court so they are free as air. Even though we feel they should be nailed, but hey that's democracy for you. It might take a very long time. That's democracy for you...full of bureaucratic bottlenecks. |
GEJ has done nothing wrong absolutely. He is a true democrat. Someone here said it's because he encourages corruption. How?! A man is clean, free from and not guilty of anything unless proven otherwise by a competent court, remember!? He also said because GEJ has failed to prosecute perceived corrupt officials and I ask, is he the court!? We are in democracy, remember!? It's funny when some people (most annoyingly educated ones) think it's GEJ's job to prosecute perceived corrupt officials. Why then do we have courts and anti-graft agencies? Talking about corrupt government officials. Do you know that the level of financial corruption going on at the state (governors and commissioners) level is far more than that at the federal? Reason being that we are less concerned about how our various state governments spend our state funds and so it's free for all amongst them. |
berem:That's your headache! I've made my point so make yours and keep TAN out your conversation with me. And I say again if the 'subsidy' buses disappeared in Lagos ask Fashola why they got missing under his watch. Maybe he converted them to BRT buses...just maybe. ![]() |
berem:If the buses disappeared in Lagos then ask Fashola. Plus you didn't answer the question "what have the state governors done with their own share of the subsidy money?" You have not been able to catch the kittens yet you want to catch the mother cat. hw we go leave d tif wey dey inside our house under ur nose and we wan go catch d one dey outside. E make sense?? |
No. It's not possible at this time. It will only be possible at such a time when "Danfo", "Molue" and "Okada" have been phased out or banned and until people stop driving in the middle of the road. These guys are more than insane! What do you do when a "Danfo" driver parks on the road obstructing traffic and calling on passengers!? Believe me if you don't keep honking, they will sit there until their buses get filled. You cannot be totally patient in Lagos, as in waiting behind one silly "Danfo" driver to drop and pick passengers on the road without blaring your horn. What about those driving at a ridiculous low speed in the middle of the highway? I should keep following behind "like say i b escort bah"? "Una try" |
'If the government now say we need people as volunteers to go search for the purported missing girls, how many of those protesters and Nairalanders will be willing to come out? I can bet 99.9% of them will feign sickness. |
Code213:Please leave him alone. He's only being a kid. Kids will always be kids, remember!? |
For Op village dem dey borrow loan. ![]() |
kel4soft:@Bolded. You didn't read the post. Did you? |
This is purely cilvilian interference. Military business is military business, so civilians keep off unless you're called upon! Why interfere!? When the military begin to interfere with democracy let no one cry. |
Kusville:It doesn't matter o. Ok So because he is buying the first car in his life and so he should buy a coffin...more like marrying a woman who is frigid?? Acura TDX is a luxury car, Toyota Corola isn't. If he is a car guy (like me) has the money (like me) and wants to enjoy driving I'll suggest he goes for the Acura and if he is a simple guy who doesn't give a hoot about cars and/or doesn't have enough money and who has the mentality of "car na car sofa make e cari me reach whr I wan go", I'll suggest he goes for Corola. |

drauj:Big story! Turn which Nigeria around!? After he had enjoyed all the powers of the presidency in his time now he wants those same powers to be removed. Why!? Why must we only and always focus on the presidency? What about the other elective positions? Making the presidency less attractive is good but is not, in my opinion, the only arm we should make less attractive. The legistlature at federal and state level should made more less attractive than even the presidency because, to me, a gigantic number of people in those places are not their to serve their constituents but to ensure their stomachs are well structured, #StomachInfracture. That's the sure way we will be able to know those who there to serve sincerely. Inasmuch as we clamour for devolution of powers to states is a good idea, we should remember that the local government is closest to the grassroot, therefore, we must also clamour for devolution of powers from states to local governments to make the office of the governor less attractive. In a nutshell, ALL elective positions should be made less attractive. |
Atiku well don o |
Left for me I will never put my money in any bank. I hate banks because they suck! |
Silly question |
The V6 engine, apart from being faster and more powerful with higher performance than the I4, runs smoother than I4. Good long distance travels...with V6 you can overtake dangote trailer in split seconds. . I4 has better fuel economy, good for city driving where you find traffic holdup...stop and go movement and all that. |
asadike: Na wah 4 back to sender things and why always liberia?I tire o... |
[s] jaytee01: Powers of comprehension are beyond you so I'm not surprised.[/s] I have better things to do than argue with you. There are several meanings to several speeches beyond their verbal or literal meanings, Fashola's own is no different. Can old dogs learn new tricks!? Your guess is as good as mine. So, 'abeg' face ur wok nd no mention me again. |

This is to inform every member that I'm done with discussions on this topic because I've made my points. Therefore, no one should mention (quote) me. If my response to this topic got you deranged, there is nothing I can do but advise to take a trip to 'Ikeja left' Please, live with it and don't dare to mention me because that would be futile and stuupid. #EndOfDiscussion |
ebucha: Good news. You can never see good news like this on Aljazeera and CNN.Hehehe.... ![]() |
Bluetooth2: The issue here is " do those involved directly deserve a credit " yes or no since you admitted that the FG was only involved indrectly ?That would be a f00lish question to ask because nobody is disputing the fact that they deserve credit. Weda na 'involved directly' or 'involved indirectly' so far 'involved' dey inside. |
eye4eye: To hell with Y1bos! I hate your guts for a reason. We shelter you in our land, yet you hairy chest, Igbo ungrateful foools still have the gut to insult your host. To hell with y'all. No peace for any Y1bos until we kick you out of our land.Lol...I pity you because you will soon commit suicide. You hate their guts but you have not a single gut. Shame on you! Yes, they have hair chest which, of course, you Yoruba sisters find sexy jumping from bed to bed with them. Olodo rabata! |
Michky: please kindly show me, anywhere in that article where fashola took credit for himself or apc. Please, kindly show me, anywhere, in GEJ speech where he took credit for himself or PDP. |
