Addressed To: Seun, Mukina2 and other forum moderators Hello Sir/Ma, I will try to be succinct in this open letter as much as possible. I commend your untired effort towards making our Nairaland a very wonderful online community. You and your team are doing a great job! I will like to draw your attention to some contentious issues that have been severally raised but yet unattended to. The issues are; 1.) The ability of a user to deactivate his/her account. 2.) Creation of a 'delete' tab on every users' posts and topics Without much rigmaroling, we are more than sure that you are fully aware of these requests, especially Mr Seun due to your 'foot-steps' traced to several threads that talked so much about the requests and reasons why it should be added here. It has also come to our full notice that staffs are even been rude and unwise to users pleading for these features implementation. All the for-explained are explicitely evident in the topic with its link below. https://www.nairaland.com/993846/ok-seun-how-close-nairaland Our privacy is paramount and very important to us! Our Requests; 1.) We demand an unreserved apology for the rude and unwise ways members were harrased by the forum staffs for demanding these necessary features. 2.) We demand that any moderator found to be part of this rude act should be severely punished. 3.) We demand a lucid explanation why our requests have been turned to by deaf ears of the forum board. 4.) We demand an immediate and unconditional implementation of those requested features. We also demand a levelled playing ground on this matter if truely you are sensitive to our plight. In line with these requests, we are giving the forum board a 7-day ultimatum to fully yield to our beckoning because we believe it will take the learned computer gurus on the board's administration a tap of button to fix. To this effect, the time given commences this minute. Failure to do this, we are going to mobilise a 100,000 Nairalanders for an e-protest to press home for our demands. A luta continua! Victoria e certa!! Davo93 For: Concerned Nairalanders |

*I laugh in spanish*Another destructive move there by the governor. Because you want to please your God fathers, you are planning to demolish a school erected before your mother gave birth to you #SMH |
Hmmm... Thats a great decision there by the VC. By the way, i have been saying this, i am saying it and i will continue to say it, i don't see any reason why Ondo State won't lead this South-West region in the shortest possible time. The rate at which good news filter in from the state is great. Mimiko addressed the UN assembly yesterday on the health programme(Abiye Safe Motherhood Programme) that has now been accepted to be a benchmark for African health development. Also recently, Dangote commenced the project of the Africa biggest refinery at the Olokola Free Trade Zone in Ondo State. I won't stop without drawing your attention to the fact that AAUA charges the cheapest school fees in the region(I can't say for other regions though). Bursary(Not for only final year students like some non-thinking government would do rather right from the first year) and Scholarship awards are regular things in Ondo State. Later these hypocritical saviour will start ranting they would give Nigerians free education in 2015 if they 'assume' power. Yet, LASU, UNIOSUN, EKSU is not affordable to an average citizen. Shine your eyes Nigerians!!! |
justwise: [/b] *i laugh in spanish* i am sure you and i know whats up but am not here for an arguement or here to pick a fight with you. But these are simple issues that are supposed to be properly handled and Seun himself knows that... |

justwise: Will deactivating your account prevent people from seeing your previous posts here? What are you talking here man?? what happens to your posts when you deactivate your Facebook account? |
JMOI: Why would you add a "delete" tab when you can actually modify your post and clear everything in it?What about in closed threads? or your post had been initially quoted? |
Ijogz K: I use to be bothered about this before.. But now I realized that life is too short to be bothered about anything responsibleI could have thought thesame way but i believe you don't understand the risk you are exposed to in this dangerous nation and online community. Over 5 million people get to see what you post and if anything implicating is up and you are unable to delete it especially closed threads, you may regret it in future. I understand what i'm saying man! |

Gbongbonosi: Why this poeple so useless like this?with your dead website nonsenseI don't understand what you mean by 'your dead website' |
Hmmmm... i stumbled on this thread lately and i took my time to read closely. Firstly, Justwise was so unwise and rude to Nairalanders after they requested for something legitimate. Thats quite disheartening! Secondly, i never looked from the angles these concerned Nairalanders are looking from as per safety and security but i am begining to understand somethings. Thirdly, I guess the fear of Seun not loosing lead has prevented him from considering this serious issue and that could back-fire in no time. Lastly, i am sure if a lot of Nairalanders understand the consequence of lack of privacy and security they are exposed to here, they will dump it! I am becoming skeptical on putting up replies and topics here on Nairaland. I want to implore Seun and Mukina2 to please give this matter a second thought. |
what are we talking here?? There is no way a dullard won't learn in this kind of environment... |
. |
Shey my presido be time keeper ni?? Besides, i gbadun this Mimiko of a guy, e no get time for all these South-West hypocritical plots of APC... omo ti o raye oshi ati iranu. Now e dey enjoy oga Jona administration welli well. Dangote don throw goodluck to the people of Ondo state. |

omopretty1: Between Afe Babalola University and Unilag which is better for a student that which to study computer engineering? Pls give your reasons. Thanks.Hmmmm... I think studying computer engineering or computer science in a Nigerian top private school like Afe Babalola University 'should' be better than any public school in Nigeria. I know the rigor and stress Computer Engineering/Science students go through in OAU upon all the crap those lecturers teach them. Such courses requires you to go extra mile on your own to learn and go beyond the old lessons you will be taught by those un-updated lecturers. Looking from an angle i am not too sure of, i think such study in a top private school should be better because of the huge sum you are going to pay and considering the perculiarity of the course(Not Health Sciences). I don't know if you understand the point i'm trying to make. Nevertheless, studying Computer Engineering/Science here in Nigeria is not worth it at all, infact self-made computer scientists here in Nigeria are far better most at times than the graduates from the field. India, UK, US are best bets for proper learning of those courses. The Best @OP |
Sagamite: I completely agree.Thats true but how long will Keshi go down with this guy?? I am sure Odewingie is better than Any front man in the SE saving Emenike & Moses that are also doing great! |
am always up here almost every minutes... |
Davo93: Ondo Students Seek Increased Bursary |
Nice info on SE but that your predicted first eleven, please delete Oduamadi, he's a fine player but i don't prefer him there. A 3-man upfront of Moses+Emenike+Odewingie will destroy teams |
