In the last few years I have not had a good experience with these married women, and it's really been appalling.
In 2017 while I was in Ibadan, I had a Delta woman who sells food. I used to eat there at least three time every seven days. As a result, she drew me closer to herself. Each time I went to eat, she would gist with me throughout. Her gists weren't even good ones. Na bad bad stuffs. Her husband was an Okada man and they have three kids together. This woman was always asking about my girlfriends, we live close to each other, she hasn't seen me with any lady yet but she kept asking about my numerous girlfriends. One day after I finished eating, we drew close to me and started gisting, we were physically too close to each other and when her husband came back and saw how we sat close to each other, he got angry, in his drunken state, he took a bottle of beer & wanted to hit me but I dodged it & escaped for my dear life. Thank God it was in the night and other neighbors had gone into their houses. I was really embarrassed and shocked cos the man is someone who knows me too well and we interact. It was after a week that he came to apologize to me cos God saw my heart and knew I wouldn't have anything to do with a married woman that has 3 kids already & even older than me. I was just 23yrs of age at this time. Wetin I Sabi?
The second married woman sells provisions very close to my house, she was also very friendly to me. Always appreciating my neatness, how I dress and my looks generally. The husband noticed how the wife was always smiling with me and I instantly became an enemy to him. Out of fear, I had to stop going there before he would go diabolical to harm me.
Another married one who is very young wants me to come close to her. She works in a hotel kitchen. And wants me to be coming to check on her. She wants to know my house too. We had known a few yrs back when her children were in same sch I was working. This woman would be dragging me to walk with her on the streets.
The fourth one is a divorcee. Has a child. She lives alone. I bought a bottle of coke for myself, and she demanded that I get a bottle for her too. I did. And since then, she keeps coming close to me. I don't want to be disrespectful or rude. I intend asking her to stop the unnecessary famzing.
I don't have a girlfriend and I don't intend to, now. Let me build myself first. They know I'm kind and gentle and already aware that I don't womanize. They think I'm living comfortable due to how I carry myself. I don't want any closeness with anybody if not they will know my secret. Most of them are after what they can get, and by the time you allow them come close and they know you aren't what they had initially thought, they will leave. And when they leave, they start telling others.
Henceforth, I want to stop friendly with any woman I meet.

Someone I trusted but suddenly changed and started misbehaving because of other girls. He is so good sweet words but can give. All he ask for is sex and I can let a man I won't marry climb over me. Entry level jobs in Shell, Chevron or Total make abt 5m monthly in salary and allowances as a field engineer. In Local oild companies, you can be sure of about 2m as entry level of you have to be on the rig...

In the drilling sector, we have those we call Directional Drillers... For everyday they spend on the rig, the least of them is paid 300k to 500k daily. While the top ones can earn up to a thousand dollars daily.

Guess what, it takes at least 1 month to finish drilling a oil well... Some get to drill like 7 to 10 months in a year. Do the maths!!!

For field Engineers who we call LWD and MWD engineers, they make between 80k to 350k daily depending on their level and they spend a month on the rig before been crew changed.

Schlumberger is recruiting... Try to apply there and trust me, your salary can't be less than 1.7m for entry level. So, imagine those that have 10years experience in such field.

I was introduced to Tramadol in 2015 because I complained to him that I wasn’t lasting long during sex. So he prescribed Tm to me. At first I hated the feeling I just took it because it really helped with the early ejaculation.

I joined a new line of business after loosing my previous job. Company shut down so everyone had to leave. There are many aspects of this new business so you would always get people to do some part for you while you pay them. Finally I got my first direct business and got someone to assist me with some part of it of which I paid him for. He was actually guiding me because it was my first direct job. While doing this job, I met a lady who was also doing her own job. I noticed she has been in the business for long and very good in it. I went to her and told her few challenges I was having. We exchanged contacts and ever since I would call her once in a while to make one inquiry or the other and she has been helpful. Business has been dull and sometimes I feel like quitting. Someone has advised me to use my car for taxi sometimes when I don't have any business on ground. Honestly I find it difficult to do besides the car is a bit old and might begin to give wahalla if I stress it much. I am no longer a baby and would have married if not for lack of money, so marriage is one of my major priorities at this point.

Last week I remembered that lady that assisted me with the job. I called her and inquired if she is single and she said yes. We had a date and I told her I want a relationship with her and she didn't hesitate. We had some discussions from job to school & then family. In my mind I was having the thought to marry her if things work out because I felt we might be able to achieve a lot together. Since she knows the job more than me, I can hustle for business & contacts while she will be in the field doing the job. It looked so perfect to me but then she is not exactly my type of girl physically and I noticed she talks a bit too much. I was also concerned about her age. She told me she is 35 but I feel she is older than that. All these concerns I was willing to cope with them until she told me something that scared me. She told me that even though she is a Christian and prays very well but she is also into native tradition because of the job and other things. She told me that once things don't go as planned she normally seek for solution in a native way.

Hello nairalanders I know to a lot of Nigerians who have never left the country this may sound funny. But I'm indeed frustrated with my life in America. I moved to America as a student in 2016 for masters in an engineering degree and after about 7 years I obtained a U.S Greencard. I work a middle income job with the government and I'm here with my Nigerian wife. I have faced a series of health challenges since I got here and some have been resolved and some additionally ones have cropped in with the latest being depression and extreme fatigue. Currently I'm on antidepressants but I'm still depressed and frustrated. My job is not that taxing but I wish I could do more save for the extreme fatigue that the doctors have not been able to resolve. I wish I could hustle harder but my health is not allowing me to. I feel also very sad and lonely living in the U.S as it's only me and my wife and I dont really have any friends. Everyone here always mind their business and its tough building any meaningful relationships. I have toyed with the idea of moving back to Nigeria in my head since America has not been all I hoped it will be for me but my wife does not want to and she quickly reminds me of the employment suitation in Nigeria and how it is me that made her come here in the first place. She kind of prefers it here. We have no kids yet so that is one additional information. I'm just venting and frustrated and I hope maybe some Nairalanders can come to my aid. Additional information. I dont come from a rich family that has money sitting in the bank and its me and my own. We just bought a house on a 30 year mortgage so we pretty stuck with paying the debt for 30 years but I don't know how I'd live here for 30 years.
