qwertyuioplm:.. it's largely a lack of patriotism that's responsible for this in my opinion. Poor leadership with selfish and greedy interests from people in positions of power, and poor "followership" where the users feel they have no choice but to continue to live their lives, whatever the cost. The slang now is "it shall favour me and my family"! ![]() |
Sadly that's today's reality. But if I'm to go a step further on the diatribe of ethnicity, it's the third and seemingly quiet ethnic group that benefits from all of these. .. sad indeed! ![]() |
..why the noise, to what end? Why not wait until the period elapses and then the Senate will know what to do. There are other things to worry about at the moment.. ![]() 2nd base jare. |
Musty4ahmed1:Yes it can.. The time limit is usually 6 months, but more importantly you should check the oil level periodically with the dipstick. |
It would depend on the mileage covered. Many car manufacturers specify which oil to use and interval of change, and generally recommend an oil change every 8 to 12 thousand kilometres covered but it my be a hard task to follow. Newer cars have software that notify owners when an oil change is due. Here in 9ja, if you drive a pre '06 car and use the traditional 20W50 oil, I'll advice an oil change every 2 to 3 months depending on the use of the car. |
.. remember that Nigeria is in the era of setting new world records for human endeavour. Let's call this "Corrupt-a-ton"! ![]() |

I wonder if Nigerians can avoid all of these penalties in this day and time, when owning a moving vehicle alone is a super luxury. How does one know the specified fire extinguisher or how soon must one replace the windscreen if it has a little crack among others. Reason states that one drives carefully in these harsh times, but with these sadist FRSC officers who'll rather endanger their lives just to stop, harass and possibly impound any vehicle they so desire, I wonder how many motorists can observe all of the regulations. They're so draconian that it's much easier to keep the 10 commandments and not sin than to observe them all. In other words: the Federal Government may be set for their biggest IGR drive as yet. |

Nigeria's level of development in 2050 will be as good as the decisions we make as a country today. |
Well said.. but we are who we are, self unaware and seeking validation from every other race with a lighter skin shade. But these people are not charitable in any way. They'll make a good profit for every transaction with you, and they know the African man's nature much better than you and me. So we may continue to get the short end of the stick as long we don't see ourselves in a different light. |
Good morning. |
